- What's this? Me avoiding actual responsabilities and making another late-night Frankens'Teen animatic? YOU BETCHA! In this episode, Henry warns Creature to be wary of Victor's ... commitment issues.
This audio has been sitting in my files since March so I'm glad to have finally animated it, even if it is just the rough sketch, hope y'all don't mind.
Anyway, sitcom timeline stuff: when Creature finally does track down Victor, he actually meets Henry first. Besides the initial reaction to a reanimated corpse knocking at his door, Henry actually finds himself getting along really well with Creature and tries to help him and Victor get along. The whole sitcom is basically just Henry ... doing his best.
With hilarity ensuing.

The idea of Henry actually becoming the Creature's bro and warning him off against Victor being a dickhead gives me life

That was basically me at two years old, except I was short.
Seriously, my parents told me that when I was around one and a half, we were having a new years eve party with all family members invited and I just walked in the room and whished everyone "happy new year!". Everyone was shocked that a toddler spoke in full sentences. At two you could apparently engage in a full conversation with me.
I remember being in pre-kindergarten (I was around 3) and people would compliment me on my vocabulary, they would say things like "oh, you're using such big words for your age", and then I would reply something like "thank you for the compliment Madam, but what is so special about my vocabulary?". Needless to say adults were impressed and I was confused as to why. People kind of thought it was hilarious to have a toddler speak like that. I'm also bilingual (French and English) so people were also impressed by that, but I just thought it was normal.
Anyways, whenever I come across a 2 year old, I'm always a little "shocked" that he can't speak properly yet.

The conversation about Victor being a college dropout soothed my soul, because I swear, if I have to hear Victor called """Dr. Frankensten""" ONE more time... (Also his absent-minded/high-key panicking texts are a joy to me. Especially compared to the paragraphs Creature probably writes.)
Creature being so excited to meet his dad is just... so baby. I mean, it's Creature. Literally everything he does is baby, but still. Baby.
And Henryyyy. He's just such a good dude, Victor does not deserve him, and he has my mad respect for trying to keep the two of them sane. Or at least something resembling mentally stable in Victor's case.
Oh yeah, Victor is the 'leaves text on seen and responds 2 days later' type, whilst Creature is the 'responds right away and always writes and punctuates his texts correctly', haha!

You'd come home after an exhausting shift apologizing profusely for leaving your cereal bowl on the counter to find it's been washed up, the kitchen has been deep cleaned, and he's got dinner ready. ❤️
