    Really good to have issues pointed out by a pro in a way that is easy to understand. The side by side videos at the end were really informative and showed the benefits of getting lessons. Well done to both of you.

    New golfer here, that video explained more than just about any I have seen on youtube so far. Nicely done

      No problem at all 😁 Thanks for continuing to watch. I already have another Every Shot video of a full 18 holes filmed so I just need to edit it. I hope to have it out in about a week 👍🏻

      Yeah I found him excellent. Very patient and knowledgable and able to explain the information very simply. I also get the impression he really wants his students to do well 👍🏻

    He seems like a good coach talked a lot of sense, it’s great when you realise how the golf club should actually swing , keep up the practice you’ll have it cracked in know time

    Another great vid, with some great advice there! I still struggle with taking a divot! Big fan of the sweep but the analysis at the end showing where the weight is directed was spot on! 150 yards with an 8 iron! Cashback!

      Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it. Divots are definitely tough as they have to be AFTER the ball, not before as mine tend to be 😂 I still struggle with hitting down through the ball. But a work in progress. Loved the analysis at the end, amazing the see the difference in my swing after just a few minutes.

    Brilliant video, because I struggle with the high shot right and the over the top movement. I have been working on this myself to eliminate this from my game. To have a visual and explanation of why I am doing this is good to have. I will use this as a reference point from now on.

      Ah that’s great, glad to hear you’re finding it useful. I hope it benefits you. I’ve really been working on strengthening the club face since I’ve had this lesson and my game has improved no end. I even broke 90 for the first time 👍🏻 Good luck with your game mate and thanks for watching

    Very useful video. You have a better handicap than me so watching this will really help me. My striking is very inconsistent with mostly poor shots although I hit a cracking 280 drive the other day which no doubt I won't be able to replicate. But I will try to use some of the tips in this video. Cheers again mate keep it up

      Thanks Andrew, glad you enjoyed it. If you can do it once, you can do it again 💪🏻 It’s in there somewhere. I think for us High Handicappers, we just need to learn consistency. But it all comes with practice. Good luck with your progress mate and I hope the video helps 👍🏻

    Just recently got my first official handicap of 38.6!!! Dreadful 😂😂 went and tried some D9 irons with a couple of different shafts, 7 iron went 183yds with a carry of 167. Staggering, been playing 18 months and have been using the Wilson launchpad irons, with them my 4 iron was averaging 160. Immediately traded them in and bought the D9 irons. Great video keep up the good work. Hoping to get my handicap down by 2045!!!

      You gotta start somewhere Scott. Congrats on getting the handicap regardless. And remember, it’s designed to help you, so use the shots while you can 😂 It’s amazing the difference the right set of clubs can do for you. If you can consistently hit a 163 yard 7 iron, you’ll do ok 👍🏻 thanks for watching, good luck with the progress, and keep me updated 👍🏻

    Also a high handicaper, would advise if possible to see if your instructor can get you on a track man, really good to see the data on club face, and out to in

    • @DiaryofaHighHandicapper
      @DiaryofaHighHandicapper  2 года назад

      Hi Matt, cheers for that. I’ve used the trackman once before and was blown away. Couldn’t believe how out to in my swing path was, I think it was 9.2 Degrees left 😂 Anyway, I think it’s something we have planned for future lessons 👍🏻 Thanks for watching mate. Always nice to hear from a fellow high handicapper. Good luck with your progress. Stay in touch 👍🏻

    Solid lesson. Even though divots come with the sport, im also a person who tries to leave the smallest divot possible if not pick it clean. It hurts MY feelings to mess up a perfectly manicured fairway 🤣. Hurts even worse when i chunk the heck out of it. 🍻

    • @DiaryofaHighHandicapper
      @DiaryofaHighHandicapper  2 года назад

      Haha yeah they still terrify me a little bit. Just because I tend to hit a lot of shots fat. So I had been working on just seeing the ball of the turf. So need to overcome my fears of divots 😂

    There's definitely a golfer in there. Some of those strikes were looking pretty good. It's so hard to put it altogether on the course though, isn't it!? Good luck with continuing your progress. There's an 18 handicapper in there, I'm sure.

    • @DiaryofaHighHandicapper
      @DiaryofaHighHandicapper  2 года назад

      Cheers Tom. Definitely think there’s a somewhat reasonable golfer in there too but sometimes I do wonder 😂 My main problem is that I can play about 70% of the holes as a 16 handicapper but then the other 30% I can play like a 40 handicapper 😂 I think my main problem is that, on course, when I hit a bad shot, I try and tinker with my grip/swing. Rather than remembering that I had hit plenty of good shots with the same setup etc. Thanks for the well wishes 👍🏻
