Hi Ali, watched this video and thought it’s simple and doesn’t involve much thought processing. I’m a 18 handicapper off the blue comp tees at my club. I have used it in my last 2 rounds and actually scored my best 2 scores in over 8 years and have actually come down 2 strokes on my handicap. Fingers crossed it’s not beginners luck. 👍 . Golf is difficult enough so simplifying things has definitely helped me !
This is absolutel gold. I watched this last night and then went into the garage to practice. Instantly was crushing every club. I normally have trouble breaking 100. Took this concept to the course today and shot 88. The only reason I did not do better was because it added 10-20 yards per club and I overshot the green multiple times because I did not believe it would continue. Thank you so much!
I tried this recently with great results! I was working on shallowing the club and was coming step and almost over the top. There was just no confidence or consistency in my swing. I then tried this rotation of the elbow and relaxed my trail arm, I did not fully extend almost a slight bend, this helped me to fold the arm in the backswing and shLlow the club . Great video and great advice!
👍I gave this a go playing Friday what a transformation. Brilliant only hit two drives slightly right everything else straight or slight draw which I have never done . Love it . Keep up the good work you explain and keep it simple
Thanks for this tip Ali. Took this to my men's night at our club tonight. Hit very much more consistently. Shot my best 9 hole round of the season (38). Definitely helped with my outside to in move.
This worked for me. I didn't necessarily understand why it worked but certainly felt different and focused on my trail elbow staying close. I also focused more of hitting through the ball. Two driving range sessions, i rarely had my slice where before it was much more regular. Usually the slice came when i tried to swing harder probably losing control of right elbow. thank you so much!
Cheers, Ali. It's the little things such as this that make a huge difference. I fall into this trap as well so I will certainly give this a try at the range very soon!
I've started using the give blood position in my game over the last few weeks. Hitting the ball so much straighter. High 50s to low 60s over 9 holes as standard down to 54 for the 9. Still have some work to do but getting there
Ali, you're a terrific teacher. Rather that skipping a stone, when I fall into an out-to-in path I try to focus from the top on driving the butt end of the club towards the ball. That brings my right elbow into the body and gets the club shaft on a more in-to-out path.

Great video, this is something I've been working on with some success, but old habits are hard to break.

I started doing exactly this approach this week and my improvement was amazing . I shot a 38 on back 9 and had 8 straight pars => my best ever.
Great thanks - will check this next time at the range !
Ali thanks this helped me saw a difference almost immediately with driver
Great video…I’ve implemented this and shot my lowest round of 80 after only a few rounds of using this technique
Great tip thanks.

Great Job Ali !!
Putting the arm in a “give blood” position is a good way to think about it.
..yes that’s a good analogy, each time I hit a shot it’s like my life is draining from me just a little bit
perfect, thanks.
When I was learning Natural Golf 30 years ago, the instructor would say the trail arm was to be placed in a sunny side up position.
Legit this helped my game today. My scorecard thanks you! ❤

Great tip, Ali. I'll have to come up with a different feel, though, because I golf right-handed but throw left-handed, lol.
I just tried this at the range today and had incredible results. I lost it towards the end of hitting about 70 balls but it was magical.
I need to try this thanks for the tip if it works for me are let you know
When you turn the forearm are the fingers pointing more to the ground or kinda of staying horizontal ?
Does this work for irons, woods and driver?
Porzak golf has been saying this
Yep. Great tip.
Fathers day golf better watch out! I'ma be skimming some stones
does this work with driver too
Does it work with a driver ?
I scored 40 points after watching this video!
Can I have that blue and white bag please Ali? 😊😍😍😍
It is nice, isn’t it?
Would look better with my clubs in it 😉
