I have always been mid handicap golfer, and as I have grown older started suffering from poor /inconsistent contact. I watched the video on "Better Ball Striking Just happens when you do this" and I have to say it's been a revelation! I never could figure out how to hit the ball with my body instead of arms but after watching this and the one tip that was magic to my swing (rotating the trail arm up at address). I have had the best ball striking of my life! Thanks Danny!

I love the fact that in your instruction, you don't refer to right or left leg, arm, hip, whatever. Instead, for left-handers such as myself you speak in terms of "lead" arm, "trail" arm, lead foot, etc. This makes your instruction far more efficient than others because the terminology you use is universal and easy to visualize. This video, Better Ball Striking Just Happens When You Do This, is BRILLIANT! I have taken its lessons to the range and the course with phenomenal results. Today, I had my best round ever, hitting more greens in regulation and with significantly improved ball flight. I have actually gained 15-20 yards per club compared to how I hit prior to studying (and I mean studying) the lesson. The swing is indeed repeatable and minimizes the room for error. Danny, I can't thank you enough. I have watched many of your videos; this is the BEST.

Hi Danny, another senior here (71). On holiday in Oz visiting family and using old 2nd hand golf clubs, which finding difficult to hit, but used your pre shot drill and probably hit straighter and further for about 70% of the time , so looking forward in doing same in UK with my normal clubs. Also found that I did not have any lower back pain after the game, which I have suffered with over last few months. Brilliant video Danny as usual - Thank you!
This video drastically helped my swing and ball striking. Before this video I couldn’t get a consistent strike, I was slicing and hooking shots and I didn’t feel confident at all hitting the ball. Just by slowing down and shortening my backswing, paired with practicing how I turn my body through the shot just resulted in me hitting pure draws down the range with my irons. Danny Boyle, this has to be one of your best vidéos for me. I have never really had a good finish but this Idea of starting from the finish is a light bulb moment for me. Still need a lot more work on this but I feel confident that it will help me enormously. Ta !

The idea that you “reverse engineer” the swing, starting at the position that you want to be in at the end, is probably the best and only thought that I need. Going to try this on my golfing buddy who has an all arms swing, with hardly any rotation and chicken wing in the short follow through. Needed something to improve extension and rotation. This looks perfect.
What an excellent drill for both irons and driver for better ball striking! I like the idea of a post impact "weight forward" and then pivot drill because I think sometime I don't get through the ball as best that I could! Well Done Danny! Always learning and validating in watching your videos!
Danny - just want to say thank you for this. I’ve had a weird hook for the last couple of week and and really been struggling. I took a face on video of my swing and it showed the breakdown of the club overtaking my arm as you showed, I followed your tip and it’s worked wonders today, and I now have a fantastic pre swing feel to use.

On holidays visiting family and several golf courses in NE Tasmania. Relatively new to the game, inconsistency of strike has been the problem. Played a couple of local links, feeling confident, had a round at Bougle Run (short course) and then played Barnbougle Dunes…. Confidence, especially with driver destroyed. Watched this (so well timed, Danny) and visited a local before returning to Lost Farm. My issue was a distinct lack of left hip bump and transition to my left side thru impact. Topping and pushing/slicing. Returned this morning to Lost Farm: completely different level. Thanks Danny. And please, have a Merry Christmas! Off to King Island to play Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes in early Jan, so hopefully the technique holds up! Cheers, Brad
Great video Danny. I find that by concentrating on having the butt of the club facing back towards my midriff halfway through on the follow through that helps my extension and also eliminates the chicken wing!!

Thanks Danny. Another great video and key to good golf. I came across it myself last year when I analysed why I consistently played decent golf for the first 12 holes but then my round fell apart. I'm 77 years old and I concluded that later in the round as my knackered old body tired I stopped fully using my legs and hips and wasn't reaching the follow through position. Still a struggle but I'm working on it and your video will help. Frustrating game!

My finish is all over the shop, trying to murder the ball at impact, this drill has helped me so much, my tempo is a bit slower now but the results have been fantastic. I'm a 18 handicap, but yesterday I took 5 shots off, wasn't expecting that. Thank you Danny.

I was a single digit handicapper and after a serious illness, I was unable to break 100. I subscribed to your methods and slowly have been improving and hope 2024 will be a better year for my game following your videos. Just this concept could get so many people playing decent golf if they implemented just this and only taking the club back to maybe 10 o clock on the backswing.

good morning great video but im still hitting toe shots from full swing but from half swing sweet spot every time
What you might want to look at on camera is: check to see if you are standing up before impact this moving further away from the ball
