The whole album is frikin fresh! Love the new branding with the album cover, the font, the color and everything. Heard some classic metal influence in some of the guitar parts, mixed with those huge beartooth chords and their iconic catchy and melodic choruses. Also really dig the variations of drums and riffs in the breakdowns. 4 out of 4 albums, they never miss!

@@EJ2K2K I disagree. This is far more repetitive and I'm once again unhappy with their choice of guitar tones / mixing in general. I've been a fan since the sick ep and I think that great bands can have 3 amazing albums in a row. Seldom do you see 4 in a row. Hopefully the next one is a little more creative.

I didn't know of Beartooth but i found their song Devastation recently and decided to check out the album.
I was feeling something recently, not knowing if it was depression or just my stupid ass wanting attention or just another episode of not caring about anything.
This song describes how i feel better than i ever could.

I'm going through a stomach illness myself and sometimes have felt I will die by it or just end my life if I don't improve. I know I will never cure it but I want to stay alive. I love this band so much I saw them live 2 times everytime I feel like giving up bear tooth throws a track to tell me to not give up. Thank you Beartooth

I have been through long term stomach hell myself, and I promise better days are ahead. It will not always be this bad. It will improve, Even if it takes years like it did for me. Just take it one day at a time and try to find as many (healthy!) Distractions as possible to keep you out of your own head. Continually asking why me? Will it ever end? Ect....doesn't find answers, just causes depression. My relationship with God was definitely tested, but He got me through mine. Hang in there, friend! Know that you are not alone!!

This band is one of the only things keeping me alive right now. I'm going through some shit and basically im only happy when im listening to music. I've been contemplating suicide for a long time and Im not sure how much longer I can handle it UPDATE: I have started my medications and have yet to notice a difference but today is my third day so Im not expecting it to work instantly
Edit 2: it's now 7 months Later. I saw beartooth live in September it was one of the best experiences ever. My meds are evened out, I'm coping with the stress and anxiety, and I've discovered more about myself. This band helped me so much. So hype to be seeing them with VIP passes in April! I love you all
Hang in there, it will get better. I've been through the same thing numerous times and suicide is never the answer.
I just feel like I'm such a burden...I recently attempted suicide via drowning. It landed me in a hospital and I'm being put on meds and I feel like im a burden to my friends and family...its stressing me out so much and I just want the pain to end. I was also lied to by a girl I was super in love with. She was lying about having interest in me the whole time and its made me feel like I'm alone and unloved by all.

People love you and I promise your life here means alot to everyone. If you only knew how it would affect everyone's day to day life with you not being here it would change your whole perspective. One of my best friends took his life because he felt the same thing and I promise you everyone of us is no longer the same. Honestly my number two for AOTY this year. Also my most anticipated album of the year by far. Caleb just turned everything up to 11 with this one, the crushing breakdowns, the amazing choruses, heavy and gritty production and meaningful lyrics. To be honest the lyrics are just what I needed after feeling just fucking dead and having breakdowns because of the pandemic for literally 2 years, I was crying and headbanging whilst listening to Skin and No Return haha. The heaviness was so refreshing when most of the other bands are going soft because he also tried new stuff like in Dominate with the blast beats and deeper screams. 11/10. I never thought I’d ever say this but he’s topped Disgusting. This is my new favourite Beartooth album. You smashed it out of the park Caleb 🤘
Just got done with my work day finally so all I got to listen to last night was new Tyler, The Creator lol I'll let you know how I feel about the rest of the album in another comment section. This song is a 9/10 though for sure.
no idea why people still treat disgusting as their best work. aggressive and disease have always been better since the day they were released, disgusting sounds like they are not grounded with what they are doing at all. in my opinion, they got better with time, putting disgusting as their 4th best album.

This kind of music really taps into the feelings of my youth. Its weird that eventually we do grow into our own skin, everyone does it on their own schedule, or maybe even not at all? I have definitely been on a journey, shedding quite a bit of my old life. The most interesting part is the individual I have grown into doesn't have a lot of need for "company". Its nice to be able to stand yourself.

This album is flawless. Tons of heavy bangers and songs like this and The Past is Dead are the softer ones but it’s done so frickin well. Not the over processed mainstream garbage that other bands do, but a song that sounds like them but can reach an audience that doesn’t like the heavy stuff

@@thursdayfivenine3106 there’s quite a few that could’ve made a softer album but still raw sounding but decided to go with the overly processed and artificial sound.
Examples in my opinion would be Memphis may Fire’s “Broken”, some songs off of Wage War’s latest album, a lot of a day to remembers latest album, bullet for my valentines “Gravity”, bmths “amo”, and probably others I can’t think of rn. I get having a different sound, but a different sound shouldn’t jus mean making the majority of it production/the singer.
Examples of a good change up imo would be the softer songs on this album, wage wars song “gravity”, crown the empires latest album, bmth’s latest album, architects latest album and probably others. They sound like them, they sound raw, but aren’t as heavy as other things
@@_callmechase i wouldn’t mind their new stuff if it wasn’t so production heavy. I love old them but I also love Danny’s modern voice. However the instrumental skills they have aren’t showcased cuz it’s basically entirely Danny with production and a band in the background like maroon 5 lmao. I prefer everyone in the band gets their time to shine so it sounds more raw

so ive had my first panic attack at work few days ago and i felt like i was gonna die ever since then im worried im getting another but im gonna see a doctor this week and i feel so alone thankfully my mananagees gave me a few days off and i wasnt a big fan of beartooth but this album along with the band the ghost inside both the bands have saved me from going panic mode again i stopped doing the things love doing like hanging out with my friends , drumming , being socia ble like i wanna be inside my room all day im a big person and ive been struggling with weight loss to reduce my anxiety but i have to go see a professional i just wanna thank Beartooth for being there for me and the metal community music is power. 💖😿💟💟💕 music and going to shows have helped but ever since the pandemic and shows stopped my anxiety has been beyond to the most worst i just got tickets to see Bodysnatcher show, kublai khan , knocked loose , slipknot riot fest there is hope please pray for me and wish me nkthing but wealth i need it more then anything.

I feel like this albums proves that Caleb can talk about these issues and don’t let him restrain from going balls to the walls with the production. Blast beats, ambience, different drum tones, blues licks (rock n roll baby).
It feels so refreshing to have a catchy, heavy metal/rock album without guitars that are drop D1 and heavy edited layers. This album will inspire so many that you can pick up a drop C guitar and make some sick fucking songs to date.
