Not only for Caleb's journey, but for all of us who have followed him, have felt the same way, suffered our own or similar struggles and often lost the battle trying to love ourselves. So this new album is called “The Surface”. I thought about it a bit, and had an epiphany. Disgusting Aggressive Disease Below The Surface Line them all up, and you have a perfect description of depression, addiction, anxiety, and many other mental health disorders. I may be late to the party on that realization, but I was proud of myself on figuring it out. Caleb is a fucking GENIUS and I am so happy to be on this ride. I only hope I can find the happiness he has found

So, this last year (pretty much since Riptide) I have been going through personal growth... Getting therapy, moving past my trauma, coming off my antidepressants, learning who I am and being okay with it. This year I have begun to, for the first time ever, be happy and proud to be me! Beartooth have always been my go to mental health band, Caleb manages to accurately depict the struggle in a beautiful and creative way! I find it so awesome that as my journey of positivity started Beartooth changed their content... A year later and yes I agree "I think I might love myself" Thank you Caleb for being who you are and being so open with your struggles and healing! Its helped me and countless others through!!

Did not start with the band, but saw the video for "riptide" that sent me on my journey. This band has such a range of song the move me on a emotional level. I listen to them on my playlist on pandora overnights. Whenever I feel particularly down i play this video and instantly feel better. Oh my gosh I love seeing Caleb this happy!! Beartooth is my safety band, that band that I'll go and run to when sad or dealing with things, cause I can relate so much to the feelings that Caleb expresses in the songs. I love thier newest stuff because it's taken such a happier turn and it literally just gives me so much hope❤

In august of 2021 I admitted myself to a mental hospital because I had suicidal ideations that were starting to break me. I grew up in a high demand religion that manipulated and gaslit me for my entire childhood and teenage life. It made me hate who I was because the expectations were impossible to meet. But even in my darkest moment, I had that tiny seed of strength left to choose life and healing instead of giving up. I only recently started listening to Beartooth, but they’ve already captured all of my past feelings and this song is the culmination of what I’ve done to learn to love myself and know that nothing that happened to me when I was younger was my fault. Happy for Caleb to finally break free of what chained him down for so long. Thank you for this song.

The positive energy and vibe of this song is unmatched! The mix of positivity, energy, a little pop and electronic, and face melting metal is perfectly balanced! In august of 2021 I admitted myself to a mental hospital because I had suicidal ideations that were starting to break me. I grew up in a high demand religion that manipulated and gaslit me for my entire childhood and teenage life. It made me hate who I was because the expectations were impossible to meet. But even in my darkest moment, I had that tiny seed of strength left to choose life and healing instead of giving up. I only recently started listening to Beartooth, but they’ve already captured all of my past feelings and this song is the culmination of what I’ve done to learn to love myself and know that nothing that happened to me when I was younger was my fault. Happy for Caleb to finally break free of what chained him down for so long. Thank you for this song.
