No one knew who they were? Considering Caleb Shomo was the front-man for the majority of Attack Attack!'s existence, I highly doubt that no one knew who they were.
MrHarryBaggins It's kind of like how Sleepwave (Spencer Chamberlain's new band) is opening for Taking Back Sunday... I doubt people don't know who they are either.
So true! I saw them twice as an opening (before I actually started listening to them. And when I go to a concert, I always expect the crowd just to nod their heads a bit for the opening act. But no. They might as well have been the headliner. They got the crowd CRAZY! They are AMAZING live!

this band is so brutally honest, i love it. you don't see many bands today who aren't afraid to share their problems in hopes that it may impact someone.
I finally got what he was doing at 3:21. The men wearing the black unitards were clearly meant to be people working "behind the scenes," but I never really took them to mean anything more than that. At 3:21, it's the second time the bassist's instrument's chord supposedly fell out. Caleb went over to yell at the people behind the scenes in order to blame them for something they couldn't have helped. The symbolism (which makes it perfect that he leads into "I don't know about you, but I'm admitting now that I have a problem) is in that he was yelling at people that were supposedly controlling his life, but never really placing the blame on the one person who caused the "chord" (symbolizing alcoholism) to have slipped: himself.
Speaks too me so much 17 years old and an alcoholic since 15 I know it sounds stupid because of my age but all the nights spent on my own on my kitchen floor or on a field at 4am completely destroying myself and I can relate to this song because of it I’m 6 days off being 3 months sober and I ain’t looked back thanks beartooth ❤️
My big brother kicked the bottle took him a long time and lots of negotiation and struggles, a few treatment centers. but it’s possible even with alcoholism running in the family. Very proud of him, never give up on your people
This song means so much to me, especially when he says "a bottle can't save my life" and that slow part cause I know how that is, and when he screams "I'm admitting now that I have a problem" I basically scream that so loud! I love them, saw them this year at Warp Tour I had so much fun
When this song came out I was around 16 or 17 years old and so balls deep into my drinking addiction I couldn't go to school without being faded. I couldn't go into work without getting high so it would get me all active (I was fucking with a certain upper at the time) and by the end of my shift is get super shit faced so i could go to sleep due to my drug if choice. I spent so many years always fucked up but alcohol always had a hold of me. I'm close to a year sober of alcohol and a little over a year clean off heavy drugs and listening to this song takes me back to all the nights I used to spend crying wishing I could sober up. Hating the fact I was homeless and a full blown addict. Now when I listen to this song it reminds me of those days and reminds me to stay sober no matter what. I finally admitted that i have a problem .
This song was one of the first instances I had in my life that let me know that someone else had the same problem I did and I will forever be grateful. Alcoholism is a terrible disease. I hope you are doing better Caleb.
I showed this to my mother who was also an addict like me. I broke down in tears because of how this song makes me feel now. I'm glad to be alive. God bless everyone who has conquered their demons.
I'm not talking about anger. I'm talking about the surge of adrenaline you get when you listen to heavy music like this. I love reading the comments of people complaining about screams being in a screamo band.lol Listen to attack attack (not their old stuff) and you'll see he's been doing this awhile.
It's 2016 buddy. Every one has auto tune to some extent. If you want true raw vocals you'll have to listen to music that was recorded before vocal editing was a thing.
I decided to check these guys out at Warped Tour at the LAST SECOND because I'd only ever heard one of their songs before and I didn't know anything about them. They were the last set of the night on the Monster Stage and it was either leave a half hour early or give these guys a try. SO GLAD I WENT TO SEE THEM. Their sound was fantastic live, and the energy both them and the crowd had was wicked.
This is just a theory I just now realized that the people in complete black in the beginning could possibly be something holding them down, such as alcohol which is the main subject of the song. In theory, those people controlled them, they placed the band members in their positions, gave them their instruments etc. They controlled them such as alcohol does to some people and other addictions if you could say
Song explained everything I'm going through, glad to see I'm not alone. "I found my vice, It lives in a bottle and wants me to die!" Damn the truth hurts, but we all need to face it. Thank you Caleb, for putting it to words. Def behind this band and Attack Attack previous to them. Dude is so gifted musically, keeps me sane :)
One year sober from fucking alcohol, it was one of the hardest things in my life and this song helped me a lot in Recovery, thanks for your amazing music! 🖤

so glad caleb didn't just give up with music like alot of young people would after attack attack broke up, i'm seeing these in april, they're supporting of mice and men ^.^
My Ticket Home's first album, Stray From The Path's earlier works, Jamie's Elsewhere, Liferuiner, Norma Jean, Still Remains, The Haunted, Your Demise, Polar., BMTH's Suicide Season, Dillinger (they are a lot more technical and a bit heavier though). You may know these bands, but I hope you'll enjoy the ones that are new to you.

Heard the breakdown a few years ago and thought it was cool, but nothing else. June 2020, I hear this song fully for the first time. It hits, it digs deep. Like nothing I could describe. I finally fell in love with Beartooth, I got it. It made sense. 2020, was horrific to say the least, but god this song, this band made it make sense. Put it into words, like no one ever could. Yeah lol, each time i see one of them i am like "take your blood on the dance floor shit out of here for the love of god" and beartooth is the best band ever.
Reese Lance yeah but I don't really expect a lot of Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens fans to like Beartooth. It would be like if Animals As Leaders or Between the Buried and Me toured with Asking Alexandria, or if Every Time I Die toured with Issues. It's a really weird combination.

It's 2016 buddy. Every one has auto tune to some extent. If you want true raw vocals you'll have to listen to music that was recorded before vocal editing was a thing.
mitchell gillette his screams durring aa were awful. until their self.titled reissue
@@Reushk That wasnt even Celeb btw
Imagine actually referring to metalcore as screamo jesus christ
@@themitchell1188 Cory from Norma Jean or lot of hardcore bands are not using autotune at all, only distortion for their voices.
Their sound was fantastic live, and the energy both them and the crowd had was wicked.
ten fucking yearsssss wow
This is just a theory I just now realized that the people in complete black in the beginning could possibly be something holding them down, such as alcohol which is the main subject of the song. In theory, those people controlled them, they placed the band members in their positions, gave them their instruments etc. They controlled them such as alcohol does to some people and other addictions if you could say
Genius
Brittany Minocha Blew my mind!
This son is actually about how Caleb hated being in attack attack! the alcohol reference is just a metaphor, I just learned this as well.
Alejandro Tuzon How so? Not questioning you man, just curious.
genius indeed
I'm glad I finally checked this out
Their album is sick
And disgusting
Jinxx McSquidgy set that up perfectly
+-T S- oh I see what you did there.
I hope it gets to feeling better
no it's disgusting
Listening to this now and then following it with Might Love Myself, I am so proud of Caleb :)
Attack Attack were better with Austin Carlile on vocals
One year sober from fucking alcohol, it was one of the hardest things in my life and this song helped me a lot in Recovery, thanks for your amazing music! 🖤
i like reading comments about what's metal and what's not...that's why I listen to hard-metal-rock-core-speed-groove-post-grunge-pop-death-grind-sound, that's my fav sub-main-sub-sub genre. you fucks.
That comment made my day. Thank you.
That's wild, to think that THIS was the first single ever as Beartooth. No wine and dine, just LET'S GET REAL PERSONAL.
"I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I'M ADMITTING NOW THAT I HAVE a problem."
i love it
The chorus and the breakdown are just perfect. Beartooth never disappoints.
so glad caleb didn't just give up with music like alot of young people would after attack attack broke up, i'm seeing these in april, they're supporting of mice and men ^.^
same with Issues, s fucking stoked it's gonna be sick :D \m/
He left Attack Attack before they broke up
Luke Hill what show did you go to!?
***** 1. sweet name! 2. Nice aha
Nothing will ever beat the production/mix of disgusting. Crunchy and crystal clear. So freakin HEAVY.
This is on the ep before disgusting which had an even MORE raw sound but I love both
This is different from anything i've heardbin a while. I want more!!
Holy shit this band goes hard
I'm so fucking happy that they're touring with PTV and SWS and I get to go see them.
CoversByMegan We are too! Until then why not check out the Beartooth playlist and get a good listen before you see them live!
+Red Bull Records Come to Buenos Aires this next year ;))
+CoversByMegan Is yelling in a mic considered Music? lol i wonder how much hate I'm going to get after saying this.
Subjectivity is not up for debate
+Shark Buttholio Maybe you just leave the video alone if you want to be a critic. If you listen to the words and the message you would be amazed. What do you think is music? Answer me that.
I've got tickets to see them in 2022, and when they play this, I will scream until my lungs collapse.
The official #MusicVideo for BEARTOOTHband "I Have A Problem". Get the 'Sick' EP at smarturl.it/BeartoothSick.
this is just the download of the melody I Have a Problem, not the entire Sick EP. I'm just sayin' i know no one will care or take notice :(.
Purchased the EP on ITunes for £2 well worth it.
evilocomments It used to be a download for the full EP months ago, but now it's just this single.
Jorgan Redick
Aha, well ok, thx man :)
Jorgan Redick for me it was Go Be The Voice
Beartooth is one of the only metalcore bands I really enjoy
wouldn't really consider this metalcore
Oh I thought Beartooth was metalcore
More modern hardcore.
The hardcore punk genre is a bitch when it comes to telling what is what, but yeah this is hardcore punk. not really a big deal tho
Rasheed Ahmadi i dont even understand that this is metalcore
I had no idea Red Bull Records was even a thing. But this band is rad.
Awolnation is signed by them
Levon777614 Ah so they are, that's pretty crazy. lol I'm starting to see that I like this company, the drink sucks but all their sports and music stuff is awesome
the best beartooth chorus ever! love this song!
Found this band when I was 14, I’m 21 and it still helps me
was the same buddy. It’s more than of a wake up call now
You better believe I'm seeing them live as SOON AS POSSIBLE! He makes insane music with amazing vocals! Is it REALLY, true he does every instrument?!?!?
No, it's a 4-man band.
I'm talking about when they record, otherwise I know he can play like a s*** ton of instruments
yes, the band just helps play live. Caleb has recorded everything, including instruments in Sick, Disgusting, and Aggressive. he's a true inspiration
I was just going through the comments and I see everybody saying they love this song or arguing weather it's hardcore or post hardcore but does anybody actually relate? that's why I like it. I relate 100% "substance therapy never set me free"
Coming from someone who grew up in a house with alcoholics as parents, these lyrics make a lot of sense and are very relatable.
So excited to see beartooth for my 18th birthday in London!!!
Lol. Everyone saying beartooth sucks has the same fucking haircut or a profile pic of some anime scene bullshit.
Yeah lol, each time i see one of them i am like "take your blood on the dance floor shit out of here for the love of god" and beartooth is the best band ever.
I ain't scene ;-;
Senpai you aren't different.
Offensive much?
Edgar Allan Poe Ew botdf sucks
2023 and still think it's a new song
Probably the best video of Beartooth
I'm crying I just love them so much oh my god
I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT IM ADMITTING RIGHT NOW THAT I HAVE A problem.
Blaaaahhhhh!! 😎
idk why but I love when he's screaming and then just randomly clean for the last bit
lol
same
Lol I saw this comment when he said that ILLUMINATI kfjdnfndf
Could somebody explain to me how it makes a sense for these guys to tour with Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens?
Reese Lance yeah but I don't really expect a lot of Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens fans to like Beartooth. It would be like if Animals As Leaders or Between the Buried and Me toured with Asking Alexandria, or if Every Time I Die toured with Issues. It's a really weird combination.
Lander Pridgen
i can imagine pierce the veil fans liking this to be fair
For many of the fans I know, Pierce the Veil is the extent of their "heavier music" appreciation.
If only PTV and SWS vocals weren't so whiny. They would be MAYBE tolerable. But nah. Maybe it's because I'm not a teenage girl.
Im actually a fan of all three bands but I like Beartooth the most
First song I ever heard by the band, a friend showed me it in the middle of an 8th grade math class. Years later I'm still in love, and I'm incredibly happy this amazing band lived up to the potential I knew they had. Fucking love Caleb, fucking love Beartooth, and I cannot wait until the next time I see you guys live again.
For a very first time listener, this is good, with my favoring of bands like MIW and BFMV in my head it's a good mix of the two.
This song is fucking incredible, cannot express how much i love this
I swear, In the beginning it sounded like he was saying, "I found my face, It lives in a puddle and wants me to die!" But then I read the lyrics..
Lol, other people can hear it too!
Caleb is infamous for his lyrics being misheard. Must I bring up "I don't give a poop!" from The Motivation lol
Morgan White Heh ew.
I seriously heard that too. I was like well it does make sense.
***** I knew I wasn't crazy!
They are just as crazy in this video as they are during a live show. Its so amazing.
just so everyone knows listening to Beartooth while eating sunflower seeds is a choking hazard.
My guy 😂
This song made me cry the first time I truly listened to the lyrics. This man is BROKEN. So raw, and amazing. I just reviewed their album "Disgusting" on my channel, I gave a PERFECT SCORE. First one of the year. Check it out and let me know what you thought!
omg i love you.. green day fan
ARTV lol nice plug for ur channel
hey jon
Ayooooo
Been 7 years I think we need a follow up.
Caleb stepped his shit up man
From the breakdown to the end is just the greatest thing I’ve heard in my life
4:31 gives me chills every time
saw them with blessthefall defeater and august burns red, so sick
probably going to that
Just saw them in houston. Great lineup
SOOOOOOOOO much better than AA...caleb always had talent, glad he isnt held down by them anymore. I just hope they put in some more interesting guitar work and more cleans on the LP
no cleans pls
When I see AA I think Asking Alexandria not Attack Attack
TheMusicMOA I think Alcoholics Anonymous. ...Irony...
xSmittyxCorex me too
DFVChrome are you kidding? His cleans are great
I didn't know Leonardo Dicaprio played drums.
Lol
Still won't win an oscar.
UndersummerskiesRVA I just spit my fucking drink out thanks
FeedMeYourSoul Haha You're welcome xD
New Fan! Attack Attack was my favorite band for so long! I'm so glad the lead singer made a new band and it sounds amazing! He's so freaking talented and so freaking cute I love him!
+Ali Vanessa IKR!
