I just learned several months ago KOFY has shut down. I had to go back to this video just to relive the nostalgia again...and again. I'm so sad. It was my favorite channel to watch a lot of the Batman classics after school. Needless to say seeing all the silly and cute dogs and cats and other pets facing the TV before the show begins. Thank goodness for RUclips that we have a way to relive our 80s and 90s years. To the rest of you who weren't around before all of this, y'all missed out. And, TV was so much better back then.
You’re not kidding. I can testify to that. I remember growing up my mother had a routine when I was at home for winter, spring and summer break. She and I would wake up in the morning and watch munsters, Batman, I dream of Jeannie, fantasy Island, and last but not least the price is right at 10 AM. Then of course maybe for a little while we will watch Perry Mason after the price is right when it was on TV 20 before it switched to KPIX. then by 3 PM or 4 PM, we would watch dance party which was a really fun show at the time before the new millennium version came along in 2007. God I miss those days.
@@kayandaeddings4803 oh my God, Dance Party was my favourite show too. It was like our own local version of American Bandstand and I loved that they often played oldies and disco music for the most part and remembering as a kid when my grandmother would dance with us to the music when the show was on. She was a great dancer, too. She'll talk about her dancing glory days often. 😍
@@victorromeromartinez8565 wow you too? This is great. Yes it was like our local American bandstand to us. they played mostly the new stuff but they would put in a little bit of old school too during that time. Yes I love the fact that they added disco to the mix too. God I miss those glory days. I would watch dance party when I come home from school with my sister and my mom. Then after that, my mother would used to take us to the park, and we would also watch a little bit more TV 20. we’re talking 1983 and 1984 when I was between the ages of four years old and six years old. if I had a time machine, I wish I could go back to my preschool/kindergarten days and just stay. But, gotta move on but I can relive memories through RUclips. and don’t get me started on my Music. If I can go back to the time when music was good, I would stay there in the 80s and 90s eras.
I cannot stop laughing at thinking about them making these and how they made the pets look over at the TV, especially 4:30 when the dog is startled, and 4:40 when the dog looks the other way hahaha
Ohhh this is so nostalgic for me. lol I would watch the old Batman series on KOFY as a kid in the late 80s and loved these animal call sign commercials.
Thank you for the memories I remember growing up as a kid watching kofy TV 20 every weekend they would have this dance party 50's themed 60 teens dancing for those adults that grew up back then as teenagers when they went to high school also every Christmas Eve I would watch kofy TV 20 the yule log once again thank you
I know they’re saying “We’ve got what your looking for,” but it kinda sounds like they’re saying, “Beef c*nt what you’re looking for.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry, not sorry.
I can’t decide which part is the best: The cat who was absolutely not having it The dog with all his stuffies The bird that had no idea what was going on
I agree with you. Every since the pandemic, they have decided to close their doors forever at San Francisco. Yes we are stuck with westerns 24 hours seven days a week.
This TV 20 jingles brings back so, so, so much memories as a kid growing up in the early 1980s and 90s. Rest in peace KOFY.

This brings tears to my eyes. So beautiful!
I cannot stop laughing at thinking about them making these and how they made the pets look over at the TV, especially 4:30 when the dog is startled, and 4:40 when the dog looks the other way hahaha
Or at 4:57 when the dog jumped off haha
Scared the shit outta him😂
that retriever looked like it wanted to bite the overlay effect
I’m guessing they had the tv make sound that got the pets’ attention.
Ohhh this is so nostalgic for me. lol I would watch the old Batman series on KOFY as a kid in the late 80s and loved these animal call sign commercials.
Omg I remember this when I was little back in the 80s. Just gave me goosebumps.

Thank you for the Great video
I heard this jingle on a game show video. Very catchy.
The 90s logo... scared me so much as a kid. Watching this compilation is like conquering my old fears...

I panicked over Goober falling off the table!

My childhood
Who is your fighter, mine is magic.
Goodbye KOFY TV now its grit TV 📺
KOFY needs to go back to local broadcasting instead of 24/7 westerns like GRIT. What ever happened to "We're local just like you"?
I agree with you. Every since the pandemic, they have decided to close their doors forever at San Francisco. Yes we are stuck with westerns 24 hours seven days a week.
5:10 🦜
When SF still had white people. A beautiful bygone era.
