@@brianbadonde9251 Yeah cause that doesn't happen now with just straight street punks for the change in someone pocket. This stuff is real American history and these stories need to be told as well and as much as any. It's great that Meyer Lansky's grandson has embraced his history and continues to tell it.
I've always liked the history of the mob. Wish the video was a little longer. I could listen to this guy for hours. Great job Michael and Jessica as always 👍
Something I would like to add about Elliot Ness. After he finished chasing Capone, he ended up being transferred to Cleveland where he would have to try to track down the Cleveland Torso Murderer. The murderer would taunt Ness and never got caught. This along with the stress of chasing Capone and multiple divorces led him to becoming an alcoholic
Was there just last week. The lady that scanned my armband, went to an Elvis concert back in her day. It was sold out but her “Uncle”, who had great connections, was able to make 2 tickets available to her and her friend, they were able to see Elvis in person and got a kiss from him. This museum was worth every penny and the speakeasy in the basement made me feel like I was back in that time. The courtroom still had a smell of cigarettes/cigars! So awesome to have had the chance to go!
Very, very cool! Thanks to you all - and you couldn't have had a better host than Meyer Lansky's grandson! If there's not a Part 2 to this video, please make one if you can. 🙂
My father's mother witnessed a hit on a Irish Mobster in Chicago, 1920s. He was sprayed with a Tommy Gun. My grandma said, "First he had a head, then he didn't."
What a cool dude!! We were married in Vegas and for our dinner we went to Capos, a Chicago mob themed restaurant/speakeasy with a hidden entrance. It was absolutely fabulous Next time you guys are in Vegas, you should go have a nice romantic dinner (and possibly a short video, because this viewer would love to have a trip down memory lane) I’m slowly making my way through all of your videos! 💪🏼
HEY, MICHAEL AND JESSICA WHAT'S Up... Well I think that this is One of my favorite Museums of all time's I grow up in the part of Connecticut which if you get on i95 your only 45 minutes from 42nd Street so we went to NYC Alot in my teenagers years and we new what was happening as far the mob and gangster Dearing the late 70s and 80s so this is Right up my alley
I recommend this museum to everyone going to Vegas. The classic mobsters…it’s not often you tend to root for really bad guys. I guess they weren’t so bad….as long as you didn’t give them s*@t. lol
They weren’t that bad🤓 they just ruined a few communities with drugs. I mean let’s just glorify these drug dealers that killed, stole, and ruined families with drug use🤓because they were helping the communities and their selves.🤝next we should build a museum for El Chapo. Since drug dealers are not that bad😑
You should check out Sammy “the bull” Gravano’s youtube channel. He tells great stories about his time(1970s-1990s) in the mob and even talks about some of the “hits” he was a part of back then. 👍🏼
I admire the Lansky family. Perhaps Meyer broke some laws but he climbed out of poverty and raised a West Point Graduate. He spared no expense to help a disabled son. He united the port workers behind WW2 efforts.I regret I never met him. His grandson seems to be a fine person also.
This was another cool visit to another cool place! Thanx for showing us this great historical museum! Being from NYC, and knowing the history of the Mob throughout, is fascinating and to hear your great guest speaker talk about these famous mobsters, Bugsy Siegel and Lucky Luciano, and of course his grandfather Meyer Lansky, is awesome! Nice to get a peek of Jessica too! Be safe and well guys! Peace.
So glad I've been there!!! Well worth it. I've lived down the block from Frank Balistreri, and grew up across the street from Louie Fazio, and worked parking cars near all of their restaurants, bars, and hotels. Those were the days in Milwaukee! Cream played the Scene May 4th 1968!!
My grandparents knew the Lanskys. I think they lived in the same building at some point, maybe in Queens. Really thought highly of them. Mr Meyer was brilliant. 🙏
My wife and I visited LV for the first time 7 or 8 years ago. We went to the MM one afternoon basically to kill some time. It ended up being a highlight of our trip. It was fascinating. We’re going back in February, and plan to make a return visit.
Now that was very interesting Thank you. Because that was a part of History and history is what made this country great. And it should never be forgotten or discarded. 👍👍🇺🇸
Great place to visit! All of that is new since I was there last about 4 years ago! Nice job on getting the “personal” tour….and even better…you just let him tell the stories of how it was! Excellent video.

Cool. We stayed across the street from the Mob Museum, at the Grand Motel. Didn't get a chance to visit, but definitely, next trip. Thanks for the tour.
Wow, that was stunning. Imagine that speakeasy bar being local, getting dressed up in 1920s outfits and going down there. What fun! Very interesting and knowledgeable man, a descendent of an actual mob member, thoroughly enjoyed!

that old man was probably a dealer back in the day...
Every older person I’ve spoken to in Las Vegas that has been here since the 60s/70s says that Vegas was amazing before the 1990’s.
Back when the mob ran Vegas things were better. Each blueberry muffin had the r act same number of blueberries, 16.
Same with bourbon street in New Orleans 💕☮️

Man this deserved a little more time with Mr. Lansky!!
Hope ya took more footage! He was so knowledgeable about things, that was by far the best history lesson on the mobsters I've heard in a long time.
