Alan Menken does that a lot. If you listen to the soundtrack music of any of his movies (just music, no lyrics) you will find that a lot of his songs are really similar, just done different instrumentally, so when the music is reworked for piano, or any other instrument, it becomes really clear.

And congrats on your channel taking off in the past few months. :) Personally I tend to like reverb as it makes pieces feel "bigger" to me but since this cover had some of the highest settings I've used I can understand it being too heavy to some. I've been experimenting the past few covers on hitting a "sweet spot" and will probably dial it back down a little for the next one
He's using a technique I use sometimes start a melody with the R.H. take the L.H off bass and have it continue the melody while the R.H. does something cool (be sure to play softer so that the melody isn't drowned out)..it takes your brain a few seconds to realize there isn't a bass line anymore, and since you only do it briefly it sounds like three hands. You can also go the other way as well. (replace the LH and RH)
This cover was so on point... i thought it would be one of those “advanced covers” that are wayyyy too note-y. However, I feel like the cascade of notes actually fit into the moods of all the songs, and it was fitting for all of the passion and emotions when the characters were singing. Congratulations, please keep on making more covers and medleys!!!!
I love watching how your fingers just glide over each note. That in itself is worth the watch! But your musical arrangements in general are very emotional and far more complex than other covers I hear. And that's not just for this. I absolutely adore the depth you put into your work.

I just sound like a nagger, but i really think that les miserables would be perfect for you, you make everything so big and powerful, and although it's old, it's a classic and i think you could do so much with it.
