When we talk about abnormality in the black personality, when we talk about feelings of inferiority in black people, feelings of self-hatred and self-alienation, feelings of incompetence and powerlessness, we must recognize that these feelings are A POLITICAL & ECONOMIC NECESSITY! And, we should start from that premise if we're to understand the psychology of black people. In order for us to be in the state we're in today as people, we have to be out of our MINDS! WE LITERALLY HAVE TO BE CRAZY! It's necessary for us to be crazy, it's necessary for us to be backwards, it's necessary for us to be mal-adjusted, it's necessary for us to be dis-united, it's necessary for us to be self-hating, it's necessary for us to be filled with an inferiority complex - Dr. Amos Wilson

Dr Wilson's understanding of African American psychology is awe inspiring! I'm so impressed with his ability to break down psychological issues in laymen terms. O how I wish he was still with us in the flesh. However, I thank everyone who has put his videos up. I know there are other Black psychologist and I thank them too. However, no one touches me like Brother Wilson. May he R.I.P.!
