That's what I love this kind of story! Not just plain shooting and stealth but you can also be a spy in this campaign! It's just felt like Hitman X Call of Duty instead of Just Call of Duty
@@Endy419 i just don't get all these people that are saying they turned the game off when they got to the zombie mission. Or when they got to the final mission when you play as Harrow. Like what the hell thoughs missions for me at least are what made this campaign the best COD campaign ever.
Right it was super fun and I was super invested but they fell on their face setting up this epic super soldier case that everyone respects and trusts and only teasing us with his story opening a bleeding pulsing wound with emergence only to put a wooden spoon in our mouth distracting us with the next few missions just for the last mission to fade to black and youre left in a pool of your own blood. They need to sew me back up. Oh well Ig we will find out in bo7 set in 2001 and ends in September
@alexoneil6494 WW2 and Vanguard's campaigns were great. All the other games i have ( BO2 - BO6 ) i started them but quit after a few missions. Couldn't get into them. But aside from the three campaign's i said i liked. The only thing i like about COD is Zombies.
I’ve played the first couple missions of the campaign and so far it feels like a bit of an old style game to me with a sort of arcade like shootem up style in a way. Kind of feels like a rip off of battlefield 4 or something, which felt like a more realistic story where you actually cared for the characters a little. Hmm. Also I streamed it and so have not seen the real fidelity yet but do you all think the graphics are a little last-gen looking?I’ll try the downloaded version tonight.
I thought it was really stupid, the story at least. The gameplay was good apart from the constant performance issues for a AAA game. But they could have been more realistic with the story for the time period would have made it more gritty.
@@josho1994 technically pantheon is the main villian, it makes complete sense why Harrow is the main antagonist though. she joined the CIA to find out about her parents, and was manipulated by pantheon to join them through information abt her parents. The story was also realistic. The drug used on harrow, MK-Ultra, is literally a real project made by the CIA after the cold war. so all the hallucination missions are realistic. All the inventions were as well, because of a rave during the late 20th century to advance small scale warfare
I don’t care what the haters say, this is a great campaign. By far the most creative they’ve ever been with a cod story line, loved the spy missions, and the horror missions as well, also Marshall, sev, and Felix were great new additions to the black ops storyline
One of best story’s and very well linked into black ops series with many task to complete while in game … only thing was so difficult I complete on veteran in 6hrs
Super fun campaign the plot and story were all good except for one aspect and they leave a huge plot point unfinished and as the last mission fades to black i was like "thats it wtf" I really need the blank slate main characters to go it worked in cold war bc it vame full circle but this one fell a little flat i need to know why these characters trust case with their secrets and life's and case wasnt explained to a degree i wouldve liked
I think that a lot of the mechanics in the campaign were really good like the grapple hook sections but the zombies stuff in there really did clash with the rest of the story and those segments were also really long, They were pretty fun but it doesn’t with the rest of the tone of the black ops series, also is it just me or did any of you feel blue balled when we didn’t raid Washington DC at the end of the game to stop the gas?!? I feel like that could have been such an epic conclusion to the campaign but instead it kinda fell flat with a really confusing marvelesk cutscene, honest to god I hate the seasonal story lore drops we get bc most people Don’t follow them anyways, this campaign was 8/10 on gameplay but 6/10 on story, they can’t seem to conclude anything anymore
i just finished this campaign and i thought it had maybe 2 good missions. and they didnt answer anything in it and the ending was bad and the reveal at the end was really dumb since they literally all said mason was dead when marketing this game. just for them to continue the story in mp cutscenes most people are gonna skip anyways
I was expecting the conspiracy plot to run deeper. Sadly its just another "CIA are da good guys" trip I wanted an alternate ending like cold war where you join Pantheon or something lol
It’s good. I just wish I didn’t spend an hour doing the mirror mission just for the game to crash and for me to do another whole hour of the boring mission.
I don’t get why people are liking the campaign, it’s different but in a bad way, when I heard it was based in the 90s I got super exited, when I finally played it it was a really big let down, no gritty fighting, missions felt like a Ubisoft game, corny cheesy bad voice acting, it was all around just a bad and disappointing experience in my opinion, the last decent cod campaign was mw2019. And the guns were also a big let down, Iraqis using m4’s and ar-180s? With a bunch of prototype weapons never even used in combat, with optics that didn’t even exist in 1991, huge let down

Also tired of movies, TV shows and games trying to humanize the main villain. Who, we didn't really even get to know at all. So why the fuck should I care about their back story?
@skateplanb247 you're not going to see any coping from me. Only good thing about this game is gun play and zombies. And even zombies has its issues, but is by far the best part of the game.

Glad you said it. I thought it was terrible 0 character development they were all so shallow and the final mission was such a blue ball. Every campaign for the last 5 years is just reused story elements from prior campaigns so they’re all predictable. Also I buy cod mainly for zombies and I play zombies if I wanna kill zombies, not the campaign. Those puzzle missions were so goofy.
