- Over any other fish, people are most likely to associate "salmon" with "aquaculture." But for nearly 15 years, Target Marine Hatcheries on the Sunshine Coast has been raising white sturgeon.
Justin Henry, the general manager of this operation, says that while the females are raised to produce caviar, the males are harvested for their meat.

Love sturgeon, but wish more facilities would move to no kill caviar. Heard of a farm in the UK that does it.

any white sturgeon expert out there i am planning to build artificial home pond so that i could start sturgeon farming the sturgeon in question is white sturgeon as it seem to the most abundant of the sturgeon species while i was searching how to keep sturgeon in home pond it stated that in order to keep sturgeon the pond should be 6 time the length of the fish and 2 time the width of the fish im having a confusion that how long would that be in ft i was planning to keep a one male and one female and was wondering how big my home pond should be in order to keep two fish comfortably the expense are of no concern to me and I'm ready to pay any amount for equipment fish food etc any reply would be helpful

Jamie Holland those tanks are fucking disgustingly small and filthy, it's a horrible setup. It's a miracle that any of them survive.
