That's the most wrapped parcel ever! But a great selection of stamps. I love these, i think you got a good deal there. Thanks for another great video. Terry, from Devon, uk.
Good find. I had a similar experience with "pages" from a United States early album, bought for £32.00 (that's British pounds) lol and there were at least five nice examples of 1861 - 1902 stamps worth around £15 - £35 each so cool. But it's not about the money! It's about the excitement of collecting and yours is infectious, don't lose that laugh!!! Enjoy the vids keep posting and let us know what you find😁
Thanks for the encouragement! And totally agree... not about the $$$, but the thrill of the hunt... at least this part of stamp collecting. There's a lot of other things to love about the hobby too
I forgot to mention that I have Many, Many stamps of the Countries that you focus on.. I collect Germany & Hungary, mostly.. In collecting over 35 years you are bound to find some Great deals on other countries and pick them up even though they are not the Main Countries that I focus on.. I believe I heard you say that you collect the stamps of Britten and a couple others.. I really like to trade, when it's possible, with people that have something that I want and I have stamps, coins, or other handmade Items like African Masks & other things like statues, etc. and Brass from the Sarne time period, along with several other items.. Thanks for your time and I hope all is well in your world.. Sean
Thanks for your encouragement! I really enjoyed your video on your Netherlands collection... I'm going to mention it in my upcoming review of my collection, your knowledge of the historical figures is fascinating
@@silkontheweb It's what I love about the hobby, I've always been a bit of a History nerd, so I love delving into new topics based on the stamps at hand.
Awesome purchase. Not worth a fortune, but with some pretty neat items, e.g. the U.S. Revenue stamps and the Germany part. Well done, and not overpaid for 28,- bucks. Greets from GER, U.
noticed some Hungarian airmails which are highly sought after. also noted the German WWI occupations stamps and such. still have one of those modern albums to clean out and one empty. must be a Cubs fan
Hello Sir, I have a Stamp album that you may be interested in.. It is a U.S. stamp album and the name is "The National Postage Stamp Album" of (1969), "Scott Publications" and it was printed in the USA.. There are 10 sections that are divided by Tabs that are made into the Album.. It is nearly 2.5 inches thick.. I looked to see how many pages, but they are not numbered.. It is in Absolute Mint Condition !! A friend of mine, who was a lawyer, passed away and that is how I got it.. He kept this album in an enclosed container with Silica packs in with it to keep any moisture away from it at all times and he, also, kept in a cool, dark place to keep it in the exact state as the day it was printed.. There are pictures of almost every single stamp, showing exactly where they go on each page.. I see that you sometimes find stamps in the albums that you go through and I heard you say that you only focus of collecting a few countries.. If you are interested in it, please let me know and we can get it to you.. I can take some photos of it to show you what it looks like, if you want.. I collect the stamps of Germany and since this is a U.S. album, I don't have any use for it, but I want it to go to a great home with someone who will appreciate it and take proper care of it.. I would love to trade it for any stamps of Germany and it's areas, if you have any and you would like to do so.. I will check for any messages every day, or two.. So it may take me 3 or 4 days to respond back.. I subscribed to your channel yesterday, when I first came across it, and I have found your videos to be very interesting.. Thank you, Sir, for your time.. Sean
It’s an alright album for 28 dollars. I just know that some people here where I live would’ve asked so much more for it that someone would’ve paid for it. (Not me though, haha)
Yeah, I agree... I like those cigarette stamps, don't have a lot of them and am going to put together a stock book of the odds and end US stamps, they'll fit in nicely there
I'm the same as you with my baseball team. The White Sox have been stinking up the league this year but I watch anyway. By the way, why do they separate Tahiti and French Polynesia (Oceania) in the older albums?
That's a great queston... no idea... I'm one of those Cubs fans that really like watching Chi Sox games, mostly because of Steve Stone. When y'all get healthy.........
@@Creek54 yes but before it was called french polynesia it was simply called the french settlements of oceania which is why a lot of albums had them seperated... because they were back then, I wasn't saying Tahiti didn't exist, just the name we use today for the collective island group ✌️

I would love to trade for Germany and Areas, or Hungary Stamps..
too bad seller did not use real postage stamps to send that album to you.... from what I saw, definitely worth $28. And they appear to be hinged as opposed to "taped" or glued. Some nice stamps in there. Was this one of your "Buy it Now & Newly Listed" finds?
Yeah! It's been a bit dry lately, but did get one last week that I just filmed... one of my best finds of all time... love that search, just gotta be patient

Nice album, I think. Kangaroos are very cute. Do you have a kangaroo thematic collection or is it just part of an Australian collection?
Just my Australian collection...
Hola , donde encuentras esas compras ?
On Ebay, using a search I described in an earlier video

"French polynesia" didn't exist till 1957 ✌️
Edit, I think this album is from 1952?
@@hamoostaffat Tahiti is the main island and French Polynesia is a group of 121 islands and atolls.

I like your videos, but the music is distracting & annoying.
Nah, that 1,50 Germania stamp is worth about the same used or mint, unless it’s a special variety. (Then it’s worth more used)
It’s a very pretty stamp though.
2,50*
Neat little Germany section, though I’m not seeing anything too rare.
I adore collecting German stamps partly because they’re so often socked on the nose haha :)
