- I had quite the productive day today! Starting out with a peaceful walk to clear my mind, and then moving on to being a busy dye day. I don't have a date set for the shop update yet, but I'm busy building stock for it - I have a tax bill to pay!

Just got around to watch this and love the colours. At the end of the video my dogs, Cosmo and Wanda heard your cats and were searching everywhere, barking, for the puddy cats ❤
I'm not a movie person but my housemate was watching avatar the other day on D+ and I catched some glimpses of it. Outstanding! It felt so real so bright so immersive! Pun kind of intended.
(I'm from the future so I've seen the Stardust set and it was AMAZING!)
My son loves ghost and saw them live once when they were touring with Metallica. I'm into voyager at the moment, they were Australia's entry in Eurovision. They are amazing they have a 80s/90s vibe which I'm sure you will enjoy. 😊

No theatre visits, but I've been rewatching some old DVDs: Wallace & Gromit and the Wererabbit, Sahara, and Dune (Netflix). Stardust is in the pile of potential DVDs to watch, actually!

Stardust is one of my absolute favourites! love the novel and the movie. The novel has become one of the books I read on a yearly rotation lol

Love love the colours. Daft question why doesn’t the yarn shrink when you are heating it to dye.
The yarn I was using was superwash (except for the suri alpaca I was dyeing) and so it's harder to felt. Also felting takes both heat and agitation for it to happen x

Like your yarn dyeing videos I have a question is cotton yarn able to dye I always see wool dye but am allergic to it
Cotton dyeing is a different process. The dye I use is acid dyes, made for protein fibres x
I enjoy going to the cinema but I'm waiting for the new Little Mermaid to come to Disney+.
Are crocs really the secret? Do I need to just give in and get some crocs? I think this might be my sign....
Mario has some he wears at work and he swears by them. Says they're so comfy. I get get some knock-offs first to see if I like them before splurging x
