  • I return with another Studio Vlog! Thank you all for your patience as I get back into the swing of things. Since I have been gone, we have a new addition to the dye studio: an oven! It's been a learning curve to adjust my dye style but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. We chat community in this vlog, as well as chatting about how oven dyeing differs to induction hob dyeing.
I'm currently prepping for East Anglia Yarn Festival (9th & 10th March in Norwich) as well as dyeing colourways for my upcoming Stardew Valley collection!

Hey ❤ back from a RUclips-free Lent. Glad to see you again!

  • @knitrinka9493

Why does buying clothes that fit you seem to be such a revolutionary idea? I've started doing this and I feel fantastic about it! It only took about 30 years for me to realize that!!

  • @britdowson8324

    Nice to see you.

  • @jojannekevervloet1635

It's been a while! Lovely to see you around again. Also, you should not feel horrible about taking a break from (too much) youtubing, you should feel good about this! Taking a break should leave you feeling good and refreshed, not guilty about taking said well-deserved break.

  • @catcraftyknits

    You dyed Prestidigitation again!! 😁

  • @AveryLaneCreations

I have been wanting to buy an oven for over a year now. I started dyeing yarn like I have one just to see if I would like that technique versus what I’m used to. It’s been a lot of fun playing around with different techniques.

  • @jennifer_beaulieu

I love learning about dyeing techniques, as I am fascinated by it, and want to understand it even though I have no plans to dye yarn myself. I really appreciate the content. Breaks are absolutely necessary and understandable, but I'm also glad you're back.

  • @sarahjanedolby

Hello. I've missed your content. Thank you for coming back ❤

  • @judyreynolds305

Love you setting a time to stop knitting….I do this. Set a time or alarms to stop knitting or sewing😂. If not nothing would get accomplished!!

  • @nanettelucy963

Hello lovely dyeing just came over pace i am new at dyeing ❤

  • @AntisocialAuntie

Brilliant to have a split screen to keep it from going to sleep! I'm going to do that on my tablet from now on! Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡

  • @chelseaw5011

So glad to have you back!

  • @natasja7384

So glad that you're back! I've missed you on here. I love it when you talk about your techniques. It made me see it doesn't have to be complicated and makes me comfident that I can dye up my own roving or overdye yarns in my stash that I don't really use. Last year I specifically bought several balls of white yarn second hand just so I can dye them up to use with other yarns from my stash. Because we all have a few skeins of yarn that don't really match the others in our stash. This week I will attempt to dye one of those white balls of yarn with coffee, 'cause I'm running out of yarn for a specific project and the postage to have potential new yarn delivered is more that the cost of the new yarn. So experimentation it is!

  • @Tiredmum

    Gonna need an advent

  • @NinaChristensen

This was so interesting and honestly affirming to see! I switched from hubs to oven 1,5 year ago and it has affected how a lot of my colorways come out. I sometimes feel like I'm a useless dyer because of it but it's very nice to see that you also have to do some funky work-arounds to make it work. And that it just isn't the same as dyeing on hubs - and that's okay. 💜 Some of my older colorways also have a lot of steps and I've had to reformulate some of them or I'd lose my marbles to be honest.

  • @michellekitson5405

Welcome back Hannah. Thought you had wore yourself out last year. I think all business owners need a break a the end of the year as you have all been gearing up for the Advents for December for Christmas and that is a lot of work. Take time out every year at this time for yourself. It is so interesting seeing how you dye your yarn. Hope the speckled ones worked out in your new oven for you. I also hope the markets go well for you. Take care

  • @carlascrochetcrafts

Hi Hannah, really pleased to see you again. I totally understand about you having a break after doing advents. I love to watch different dyers doing their techniques. Your new oven looks fab. Enjoy your day x

  • @lavendercottagefibrearts

Yay lovely to see you back. Hope you had a nice break whilst away from making youtube videos. Don't feel bad, look after yourself! I can only imagine how intense filming for vlogmas would be.

  • @mistyyork5271

Happy to see you again :) I'm so happy that you took a break, sometimes we need to step away to be better. Glad you are back though ❤

  • @stohandmadejewelrycraftcorner

    Glad you are back 💕
