+Alan Young I was there ,The peole in the seated section threw down the foams from the chairs into the GA section on the floor and we decided to have a party with the.. I have been to many shows that one was the most dangerous one I had been to many skins vs metalheads and all sorts of stuff I had never seen before or after happened it was great and scary!

AWESOME TIME !!! what can I say,we went a little nuts! it was SLAYER in an arena.....there were 2 giant inverted crosses with strobe lights Blinding you. people stagediving and moshing everywhere. a real BLOODY pit. Old School Thrash Metal in its infancy. Its New York. nuff said. I 'll be there. same place,same time. only now they call it the theatre at Madison Square Garden November 27,2013. I was there also. We were throwing the seat cushions to celebrate SLAYER. We were just having fun! I remember that I used a Slayer pin on my denim jacket to cut the seat open with. What a show!

Did you even think twice that Slayer might never get booked there ever again because of the retarded crowds they might attract that destroy property worth thousands of dollars? You were fucking ruining it for both yourselves and the band. There's even an interview with Tom after this show where he expresses how fucking pissed off he was with the "fans" during this show.
Having fun? Tom was hit and Lombardo too. And they were just doing their job. Not fun, but juvenile and idiotic.
I think the only time Tom Araya ever hit that first extremely high note was when they first recorded the song, lol

The part of this that has been left out is the fact that NYPD riot squad tried to cancel the show and the place just went nuts. You dont piss off the NYC crowd and expect nothing to happen. The train ride home was bad as well a 30 minute ride took 3 1/2 hours. windows getting smashed and emergency lever getting pulled every 3 seconds. And BTW Danzig opened and got booed off of the stage.
So that was the infamous Felt show. That was absolutely the best live Slayer concert I have ever seen. I wish I could have been there for all that shit.
Yeah, I was hoping to catch a view of the flaming cushions too. People who weren't there don't believe me when I tell them how crazy this show was.
I was there, one of the best shows ever, great mix of punks, skins, and metalheads, craziest show I've ever been too, everyone loves Slayer.
The guitar solo here is just to badass to listen to

I was there too craziest show ever , nobody ever had more manical crowds then NYC back in the 80s .....there were fights everywhere ,skins vs metalheads, slayer was genuinely scared shitless and could not wait to get off that stage.

I saw this tour was Overkill, Motorhead, and Slayer out in western PA. The show was at a skate rink, thank god there were no chairs, we had a blast that night. When I saw Metallica on the Justice tour, there were chairs in the Philly Spectrum floor, needless to say they all ended up in a pile in the center of the floor, the crowd got rid of the unescessary ...

it was amazing! scared for my life though!!!!!!! it was insane!!! what the camera didnt catch was the seat cushions that were all lit on fire and thrown into the pit .... insane!

This night was the fuckin sickest show ever!!!!! I was on 2 hits of acid, and the war between the skins and lonhairs came to a boil. Fights everywhere. The cops were freaked out. And the band played on!!!! Untill the seats started getting ripped apart. A wall of cops lined the stage before the band even went on, and made an anouncement that the show wont start untill the crowd backed up and the barricades were put back. NOT!!!! Slayer went on anyway or there would have been a roit. Had 1 anyway!
