THANK YOU!!! I followed this along, step by step, and managed to learn more about building than I have in 3 years. Now I just have to watch it another half dozen times to make it stick in my brain.
I was having no fun at all trying to build a bat exhibit and butterfly exhibit until I saw this and realised I didn't have to be so modular with my design. Brilliant 👍 I'm looking forward to playing it again now and trying again with these walk thorough exhibits
Dear Adam, thank you so, so much for your step-by-step tutorials! I've been watching let's plays for Planet Zoo, but if people show how they build their masterpieces it's mostly speedruns which are not that helpful. I already gave up building a decent looking zoo, even if I was all in at the beginning. The game is a bit intimidating and overwhelming to me. But now... I can start over again! I did with a pond. Just a simple, small, but round pond which took me ages to complet! 😂 (well, it was an hour, but still...) I used your tutorial for circle structures and you can't imagine how mindblowing it was when it actually worked. I struggled the most with finding the translation in the tiny boxes. But I did it! And this is because of you and your work. I wish you every success with this channel! And now I'll be back to constructing things. Thank you again! See you in your next video. 😊
Came upon your YT searching for the walk through exhibit, and I am "wowed" about your tutorial, and work. I ended up subscribing, and Like your YT. Learned a lot today - thank you.
This is a fantastic tutorial, I followed the steps and realised that I was over complicating the exhibits and they don't have to big these huge ugly buildings
Imagine parrots being walkthrough-exhibit types. Imagine if visitors went out of the indoor unaware of small parrots sitting/hanging on them, would that be a bad and serious idea for walkthrough- exhibit
Dang I had hoped I could make these bigger, I really wish Frontier didn't make this so small, they're really hard to use with how narrow and short they are. Thanks to Frontier ignoring complaints about it and then you get players going "You'll get used to it/better" you can't get better when the tool itself was broken to begin with. T_T Wonderful tutorial though.
@April_MacKay_Autorin I'm not 100 percent sure what you mean, but have you tried to just click on the item again that you don't want while holding control
As much as I really love your tutorial and I will definitely use this as a fantastic guild for my building dreams, I am just so frustrated with the mesh fence, it keeps going invisible at different angles and it is really difficult to see it especially at night. Do you know of any setting that can make it look permanently solid like yours?
You would be proud of me, Adam, I'm only a beginning builder but I've now made 3 walkthrough exhibits based on how you did yours. I tried hard to get them perfect as I am a perfectionist also when it comes to lining things up.
@@adamup They are all different too. One in mainly mesh similar to yours, the 2nd one I used plaster decorative pieces and the 3rd one mainly bamboo and mesh.
Can the guests walk on the floors? I recently created a small build for my exhibits but I cant seem to figure out how to get the guests to be able to walk on the floor since it doesnt connect to a path like other buildings any advice? Thanks for the guide!
Thank you for all your help, Adam. I love your builds! Thank you for all your time in building, recording and editing this for us. :)
My pleasure!

Just found your channel! Thank you so much for the tutorials, it has been helping me SO MUCH!
You are so welcome!
Ah! Thank you so much I was just talking to my partner about how I can’t figure out how to do walkthrough exhibits
I'm glad I have helped 😌. Thanks for watching !
One way paths would really help with these things
Thanks very much for this very helpful guide
You're welcome 😊

What are the buttons to copy everything on console?
Hey Adam, very helpful video! But how do you multi-select items within a group? This would help me so much!!
once editing in the group, hold "CTRL" and left click the items you wish to multi select.
@April_MacKay_Autorin I'm not 100 percent sure what you mean, but have you tried to just click on the item again that you don't want while holding control
How did you do the viewing glass part

I've noticed this. I normally recolour it to black and sometimes double up the layer
What kind of animals would you put in this if I don’t have the bat or butterfly packs yet

Can you do one with the restaurant please if you have time

Run a null path under your own custom paths
Omfg I had no idea there is such a thing as null paths! Ty so much!@@adamup
How to add animal?
I would suggest playing the career levels to learn how to put animals in exhibits
20 minute video took me couple of hours 😂💀
X doesn't work for me....
