Thank you for this video! I've subbed for sure. I just got my game this Christmas. I haven't played a zoo game since Zoo Tycoon came out on CD-Rom. 😅 I have played the Canadian Wildlife Zoo in Career mode 5x and I am finally making money. I was too impatient and wanted to add too many things too fast. My staff costs were outrageous. I'm still fighting the urge to add another Keeper but my guy is hanging in there. I have to go back and watch the part about the paths again to make big areas. Mine look like garbage and were so frustrating to install.

I love custom barriers and think they can make a habitat look so much better but I just suck at designing and building them. I am still kind of a beginner player so maybe i will learn it with time.

Sometime the large hitboxes for animals is useful. Especially is you want a more natural look. I've got a beaver habitat that doesn't have any actual fences. I've simply used the limitations of the hitboxes, tree stumps, and a couple trees to keep them within their parameters.

Have been playing on Xbox since launch but was bought the collection of planet zoo for pc for Christmas! As a sims player I’m used to customisation and building but I was totally stumped starting on pc. You’ve been an awesome help and inspiration, thank you! You’re awesome!

Career mode was useless for me, didnt teach me anything i couldn’t figure out and was so incredibly frustrating to play

how do you enable steam workshop? in my game, i do not have any items when i click on what you clicked on. Do i need to enable some settings anywhere? thank you

With the rocks and foliage, a lot of animals don’t like there being so so many. Do you just ignore it or place until your pushing their limits 😂

Pro tip Look at real zoos, weather you look up a vidoe or go there in person, it helps you get better at building realistic zoos
