They are not going to "wing it" because he has let HBO know how everything turns out in the end, but they are going to have to improvise because the next season is both book 4 and 5 and seeing as we know for sure book 6 isnt coming out this year, the next season of GoT will be ahead of the book series.

Well given that almost none of his concepts are original and most of his "fantasy" accurately reflects real life (which negates the notion of fantasy entirely) Plus he resorts to cheap writing tactics like graphic sex and violence so one wonders what the hold up is!!!

There is not much of fantasy in it , to please the reader. because most of the time fantasy is used as plot weapon when you go to deus ex machina [eaaaglessss] or when you need to move the plot. The first book is pretty solid, the second book is solid too , the third book is pehnomenal and from there it gets boring and bad. But until that point it is great read that I recommend.

You book readers have to take it easy... Remember... There is a lot of paces he has to write... And he has to come up with the on his own ;)
Well given that almost none of his concepts are original and most of his "fantasy" accurately reflects real life (which negates the notion of fantasy entirely) Plus he resorts to cheap writing tactics like graphic sex and violence so one wonders what the hold up is!!!
Well almost everything in fiction was inspired by real life. Plus, True Originality is dead. Sad but true. The only way to be original these days is to take ideas that already exist and put your own spin on them. So, while I don't disagree with you, what you're saying can basically be said about anything.

Lmao , then what the hel is original to you? It is alternative medieval story with white walkers and red preists. There is not much of fantasy in it , to please the reader. because most of the time fantasy is used as plot weapon when you go to deus ex machina [eaaaglessss] or when you need to move the plot. The first book is pretty solid, the second book is solid too , the third book is pehnomenal and from there it gets boring and bad. But until that point it is great read that I recommend.
