USS Dale (DLG-19 / CG-19) Change of Command at Naval Station San Diego - August 12, 1967

Captain David A. Webster is relieved by Captain William A. Simcox as Commanding Officer of the guided missile destroyer leader (later guided missile cruiser) USS Dale (DLG-19 / CG-19). Captain Webster had served as the Dale's commanding officer since January 1966.
This video is comprised of official Navy photographs and family home movies of the ceremony. Music and brief dialog from the movie "The Caine Mutiny" have been added to provide "color".
