That sweatshirt is EPIC as heck!!!! You always have the coolest shirts and sweatshirts. Awe thank you for the kind words about me and my readathons 🥹 you made my day. What an epic reading month you had! I really really loved Candy Cain Kills! Also felt the exact same about Snow which I also read in December. Great wrap up! 🎉
Thanks! I think it is because I don't own any age-appropriate clothes 😂😂 You really did get me into readathons when I was intimidated by them, and made me feel like more than just an outsider, so thank you!
OMG I love the Duck Tales shirt. I watched it all the time back in the day. Candy Cain Kills sounds so good. I need to get to it next December. A Child Alone with Strangers sounds so good in a messed up kind of way.
Kelsi really is the booktube GOAT. Duck Tales sweatshirt is 🔥 You’ve convinced me to read A Child Alone With Strangers. I’ve been wanting to read another book of his after BITV. I’m looking forward to hearing your top 10!
I was initially sad that I couldn’t get to Snow (Everand wouldn’t allow me to borrow it after I used up all my premium book hours) and I won’t be too sad about it now after your review and Katrina being disappointed by it. The Shuddering was fun! The characters were total duds for me and that ending felt so melodramatic 😂 The creatures were really fun!!
How does the premium book hours even work? I just know things appear and disappear randomly. Snow started off so promising, but I just lost interest as it went on. The shuddering WAS total drama, but I still enjoyed that one. They sure thought they were going to starve to death after just a few hours without food though 😂
Man you covered some serious ground in December! Lots of thematic books. I wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of Silent Night either… maybe the next two in the trilogy are better? Who knows…
I love your Duck Tales shirt! Yess! Candy Cain Kills is wonderful! I felt the same way about Snow! I hated that boy that was introduced 😂 I felt like he always had a boner 😅 I need to check out that Farcassi book! Awesome wrap-up! 🎉🎉🎉
I really enjoyed Sacculina by Fracassi, so I would recommend that one too. I have A Child Alone with Strangers on my kindle, but haven't read it yet, but I've read Gothic and Boys in the Valley. I love Stephen King, but really don't see the comparison between the two authors at all.
I noticed the similarity in a child alone with strangers, especially when you hear the inner monologue of some of the kidnappers. Just the way they "sound" or think reminded me of characters or phrases King would write. I need to get to Sacculina!

Ducktales! wooo0000ooo! Have you read anything else by Fracassi? All of his books feel very different to me, but I've enjoyed them all so far
@@Kritz_Reads Nope, I’ve only read the one book. I will definitely read more from him this year.
I had such a fun time with Candy Cain Kills too! I’ve gotta get to some Fracassi I’m this year. I’ve got this one on my kindle.
Interested to hear what you think of a child alone with strangers once you get to it!

We read many of the same books in December!
Which was your favorite read?

I just really wanted to see the main character get what she deserved! I don't have the sequels, so I'd like to think she gets it later on 😂
Yassssssss DuckTales! 💰
Wooo-oooo!

Boner boy was dumb, and if you took him out of the story it wouldn't have changed a thing.
