Thank you for the metal-covered usb-c port on an EDC light!
There is no justification for flimsy sure-to-fail at some point rubber-cover on usb-c port
(other than keychain lights as those really need to have the smallest possible size and have shorter life anyway due to non-replaceable battery).
You are welcome! We are starting to implement that into more of our lights.

Good to hear!
HM50R V2 would be perfect small tactical EDC (without the headband) as it also has red light.
It's only missing metalcovered port and magnet in the bottom.
I just used it in army reserve training - small weight, strong body, red light - worked well.
LD12R is almost perfect, just missing the red light but I can live without red light in EDC light.
@TarmoLuumann tbf i think they have the best rubber covers. Its even hard for me to get off on the pd36r...good implementation
@@TheTastefulThickness Yes. I agree. Fenix quality is very good in all the details.
Still, it will wear out at some point so my preference is to avoid it (except on keychain lights).
100%! I can’t stand those horrible rubber flaps.
I always go back to my Streamlight Microstream USB because of the removable battery and the twist to reveal USB port.
I have the PD25r which has the same twist charging port, Greta light just a bit thick for me in pocket
This looks awesome!!
Dimensions, lumen range, magnetic clip, usb c recharging hidden with the twisting barrel (the best type recharging port), removable battery (if spare batteries are available), the two lights are dope - very practical!
Definitely on my shopping list! 😜
Thanks! We like it too!
That sidelight seems to be pretty nicely implemented; no finicky and hard to remember button combinations to switch to it. Well done.
Thanks!
This is a new design for Fenix. Magnetized oversized pocket clip and everything
It is. We took lots of different features from other lights and put them all into one.
Very hyped to see more lights get magnetic parts. I have the LD15R with magnetic tailcap and i use it everyday. So helpful that you can just stick it on some metal and let it shine.
Great to hear! We just added a magnet to the tail of the E28R V2.0 too: www.fenixlighting.com/products/fenix-e28r-rechargeable-flashlight
It would have been perfect with direct-to-strobe tailbutton press-and-hold. Any other model with similar dimensions?
The PD32 V2.0 would be the closest flashlight with direct-to-strobe in the tail switch. www.fenixlighting.com/products/fenix-pd32-v2-flashlight
It's missing MOMENTARY on/off, it's very annoying clicky.
There is no momentary on due to the added side light. Sorry you do not like having to fully click to turn on.
Too big😢
We're sorry you don't like the size of this one. We have lots of smaller versions too. www.fenixlighting.com
@@FenixLightingUSA Thanks!
Can we expect a new version of Fenix e12 with 14500 support in the future?
