Got to meet Stacey back in about '02. He was a friend of my brother in law. He took us to see the Power Block studio and then we went to his house and got to check out the Willy's and Big Blaze. He's a super nice guy, just like you see on the show.
when we went to the coast in the 54 willys wagon I still own about 30 wears back as we drove down I5 our 5 year old son said I think this thing stuns people
No trailer queen, no mall crawler, but a practical everyday driver and off-road monster. That's what every 4X4 was designed to do. Anything less is just a pathetic poser.
This just recently was up for sale, lowered with 33"s and old school slots. Probably handles better but definitely needs longer springs up front for a better ride. Still looks great.
Glad these episodes are getting dusted off this is what grew my love of all things mechanical as a kid. Thank you!
I love that I have to fight the tears of fond memories from my childhood. Man I would be SOOOO mad if I slept in passed TRUCKS!!!!
True

I love how he builds them to be driven and enjoyed, not just trailer queens and car shows.
I had a 1961 best four wheeler i ever owned. Totally unstoppable!
I love how Stacey is taking all the credit for all the work on Wicked Willies even though Mel Fare on it until this last episode.
Mel was boring and never got dirty like Stacy.
+
@@mothboyskater3793 because Mel is an actor and not a gearhead like Stacey.

Thought of exchanging engines in my 55, but never did always felt the V8 was not necessary for my application, did toy with the Ford 300 6 though.
