Although Truffaut eventually returned to the character in one short-subject and three full-length films after introducing him in his debut feature, The 400 Blows - Les quatre cents coups (1959). In all, Truffaut followed the fictional life of Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) for over 20 years, shows him in romance with Christine (Claude Jade) in Stolen Kisses, then the marriage of Antoine and Christine in Bed and Board. And then Jean-Pierre Léaud appeared again in La Nuit américaine ("Day for Night"),

"Take the Long Way Home" is the fourth single and sixth track of Supertramp's 1979 album Breakfast in America.
Antoine Doine is a fictional character created by French film director François Truffaut. Doinel is to a great extent an alter ego for Truffaut, sharing many of the same childhood experiences, looking somewhat alike and even being mistaken for one another on the street.
Stolen kisses - Baisers volés
In the third installment, Stolen Kisses (1968), a more mature Doinel attempts to return to civilian life after a dishonourable discharge from the military. His romantic forays are rocky with Christine (Claude Jade), and then his boss's wife (Delphine Seyrig as Fabienne Tabard).
Bed and Board - Domicile conjugal
In 1970, Doinel and Christine have married in Bed and Board, but Doinel suddenly becomes obsessed with a young Japanese woman (Hiroko Berghauer).
Day for Night is a 1973 French film directed by François Truffaut. It stars Jacqueline Bisset and Jean-Pierre Léaud. Its original French title is La Nuit américaine ("American Night"), the French name for the film making process where by sequences filmed outdoors in daylight are shot using a filter placed over the camera lens (the technique described specifically in the dialogue of Truffaut's film) or also using film stock balanced for tungsten (indoor) light and underexposed (or adjusted during post production) to appear as if they are taking place at night.

The older I get I find myself traveling back to these Great songs that as a kid could only hear on the Radio or my record player. My friends and I would share records cause it was hard to get all the money to buy all the records we liked... They were the best times though...

Kids today don't know what they've missed out on. They think having the internet makes things better but they don't know the joy of sitting round the record/CD player with your mates, listening to the latest album from your favourite bands.

Como também tenho procurado conhecer mais de cinema e principalmente o europeu, pois sou professor de arte, me interessei pelos filmes de Truffaut e vou tentar assistir a partir destes. Bello trabajo Estelle, sabías tú que había una película en que al final de ella tocaban esta canción pero no recuerdo su nombre, era una familia que sufría mucho por el hombre de la casa , no recuerdo mucho pero la escena final era que la madre de subía al auto con su hijo luego de deshacerse de ese hombre que tanto daño les hizo y colocaba la radio del vehículo con esta canción, la cámara los veía alejarse por la carretera.
Espero que alguien que vea este comentario me diga el nombre de esa película, era como de mediados de los 80s.

I easily thank both my parents for roughly half of my taste in music. Both my parents like(d) this group- my late mother passed on in the final Saturday of November of 2017 due to a kidney problem that endlessly added up. She had immense depression and probably no longer cared about how horrendously UNreliable the so-called 'free' taxi services were just so she could get *_*dialysis!_** ...my father is a weird sociopath for that matter too... its fucking UNreal how society took WAAAAY tooo long to realize how bad parents can BE, now- practically EVERY married couple: gets divorced, are horrible people and utterly screwed parents...
