    I really like what they do with these kits !
    It’s actually really inspiring to see working machines come together from so little !

    I love the idea of 3D printed marble runs. I would like to find some that could be pieced together to make different paths. Kind of like what Zach Freedman did with his marble game.

      Yes I agree it would be cool to print sets and link them up!

    I printed this about 4 months ago. It's awesome. The tracks were a pain in the butt to snap together, but persistence paid off. I agree, it's ALLOT larger than i thought. Very cool

    Great job! The Marble Run was one of the first large prints I did on my Bambu A1 Mini. The chain can be a bit of a challenge, but quick, firm motion seems to work best.

    Looks like a fun project. I sometimes lose interest on things like this that require a week or more to finish. You did a great job staying on top of it and getting it done.

    When I ordered my A1 back in January, I ordered the kit for this too. My son and I play with it quite a lot still. I was printing on my Ender 3 S1 Pro and my A1. I love it. I even made some extra parts for it.

    PLA is stiff and PETG is a little more flexible. You might not snap/break things when assembling them if they are printed in PETG. Give it a shot.

    Fun print, pretty good for demonstrating that 3D printing can make functional as well as ornamental projects.
    My only concern (as an Electronics Engineer) is that electric motors make a lot of electrical noise, which I would prefer not to feedback into an expensive laptop. Ikea USB chargers are pretty good and not stupidly expensive, but any spare charger should be fine for this.

    Have you thought using other printers like your prusas to parallize?

    • @tada3dprinting
      @tada3dprinting  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah I usually jump around with the printers. Since it was all already in bambu studio, we just kept them on the X1Cs. Thanks!

    Thanks for honest print experience. It is common that people only show that Bambu printer is just perfect. But you did not hide imperfections, which is nice. As I did not believe that Bambu printers are so perfect as they speak about.
    Also, did you use original Bambu filament? Or some other brand?
    And why do you use slicer software? They say you can just print anything from Makerworld from mobile phone, without slicer interaction. And this is official Bambu kit as I understand. Does not that mean that it is presented on Makerworld too?

      I use Overture PLA. I also have Prusa printers. So it's just easier to run both slicers on a computer. I also run a lot of my own designs so it's an easier process. Thanks so much!

    I couldn't help noticing, but it looked like some of your print imperfections were from moisture. Do you keep your filament dry when storing? If you already are, just ignore the rest of the comment lol. If you store them in a closed container you can stick a silica packet or two inside and not worry about it. If not, you may need to find a way to pull the moisture from the filament, like a food dehydrator.

    Any news on your MMU3 for the MK4? Are you still using it and how did you do the layout eventually?

    • @tada3dprinting
      @tada3dprinting  Месяц назад

      Yes I did change up the layout. ruclips.net/video/BqBayZaTlnQ/видео.html
      I have been using it but most of my prints are small and repetitive. I'll post more soon.
      Thanks!
