To be honest, isn't every single human "non-binary"? Really, it seems that the soul has no gender (which makes sense, because our bodies possess our reproductive parts, not our souls). So, unless someone constantly thinks of their gender every second of their lives, no one completely feels they are one gender or other, they just feel like themselves right? I think some people our out of touch with how most other people think and feel, so they assume that if they feel like themselves, and they aren't consciously aware of their gender constantly, they are different than others and they are non-binary. But, I think everyone, except for people that have gender dysphoria or body dysmorphic disorder, don't focus on their gender and are what is described as "non-binary." Seriously, when you think of yourself do you automatically think of your gender or race, or are you just you, until you have a social need to categorize yourself? I am always just myself, and only think of myself as a female when I have a need to categorize myself, such as when I have to use the public restroom, fill out a form, buy clothing, and so on. I also think of the fact that I am female when I am experiencing something that only someone of my sex can experience, such as buy sanitary napkins, delivering a baby, or breastfeeding my baby. In practically every other aspect of life, so about 95% of the time, I never think of my gender at all. For instance, I have thoughts such as, "I'm hungry," not "I'm a woman that's hungry."

Kinda like, "school" and within school you have a bunch of tiny subcategories. (Classes/periods) Nonbinary itself means not make or female. Not NO gender. Sure, some enby folks have no gender, but some have two genders, three, multiple, half and half, bits and pieces, a new thing all on it's own or maybe even fluctuate through them often. Also doctors operate on intersex infants when there is nothing wrong with them just so they fit as "male" or "female".
I think the problem is people have a "one or the other" way of thinking, wanting people to have to pick between the "two genders". Hi, you don't have to read this if you don't wanna hear my rant. I was in my room, watching RUclips while doing homework, and my mom came into my room and asked what I was doing. I said that I was texting my friend, and my mom said "are you texting a boy...or a girl..?" I said no. She said started talking to me about gender and said to me "you know you're a girl right?" And I said "yep". She then said "good, you better not come to me saying that you're a boy or a... whatever..". I'm a closeted non-binary Asexual and aromatic, and now I'm too scared to come out.

I’m a young non-binary and I’m still in school and my teachers are accepting of it and I honestly wish people would be accepting of it because this isn’t easy to drill into people’s heads that when I present feminine I’m still non-binary, when I present masculine I’m still non-binary. So thank you I really like that you’re open about being non-binary because I’m a closet non-binary on my main social because of fear so thank you giving me confidence!

I think sometimes people forget about the difference between sex and gender. You can always tell because they might bring up how it’s “science”. And yeah, scientifically, I am a female. But does science understand how my mind works? Does science read my thoughts? All science does is tell me my genitalia. That’s all female is. Gender, however, is more complicated. It involves the mind and how the mind perceives the body. That’s why we say ‘gender is a spectrum’ and not ‘sex is a spectrum’. Idk, share your thoughts.
Being non-binary is amazing and the people that are non-binary are just as great as everyone else and don't deserve the hate they get. Yes, theoretically there are two genders. But, being non-binary/agender means you don't identify as either gender. Does that necessarily make it another gender? In some cultures there are four genders, who's to say that there are only two? I am non-binary I find lots of types of people most who disrespect me but some people who want me to feel powerful I have a trans friend he was the first person to make me feel accepted and even now he is my best friend both of us have familys that don't accept us both we stick together that's all we can do just stay close to the ones who accept you for you.

I told a friend I was lesbian (I was still confused on what “gender” I was). He told my entire school. That was in fourth grade. Fifth grade. I’m tilting towards bisexual, since I’ve had major crushes on boys and girls. Also fifth grade. Pansexual, as I see myself fit with any “gender”. Sixth grade - now. Non-binary/agender. I’m agender and I can say it is not easy for me to handle these types of comments. Everyone calls me a girl my parents refuse to use my preferred name and people at school argue with me about my gender saying there are only two genders and I’m a girl no matter what I suffer from depression because of this I feel like I live in a world where I am expected to not be myself if I can get some supportive reply’s that would be great thank you and stay awesome

I think the problem is people have a "one or the other" way of thinking, wanting people to have to pick between the "two genders". They also shut down and are completely close minded when we try explaining, and then they just start throwing insults around. I was in my room, watching RUclips while doing homework, and my mom came into my room and asked what I was doing. I said that I was texting my friend, and my mom said "are you texting a boy...or a girl..?" I said no. She said started talking to me about gender and said to me "you know you're a girl right?" And I said "yep". She then said "good, you better not come to me saying that you're a boy or a... whatever..". I'm a closeted non-binary Asexual and aromatic, and now I'm too scared to come out.
I don't know how to help you but I'm gonna say that if your parents won't love you for who you are they don't deserve you. your supported and loved more than you know, I know how hard it feels to be scared of your own parents because of things like that but talk to someone a friend or something like that it will help

I think sometimes people forget about the difference between sex and gender. You can always tell because they might bring up how it’s “science”. And yeah, scientifically, I am a female. But does science understand how my mind works? Does science read my thoughts? All science does is tell me my genitalia. That’s all female is. Gender, however, is more complicated. It involves the mind and how the mind perceives the body. That’s why we say ‘gender is a spectrum’ and not ‘sex is a spectrum’. Idk, share your thoughts.

Being non-binary is amazing and the people that are non-binary are just as great as everyone else and don't deserve the hate they get. Yes, theoretically there are two genders. But, being non-binary/agender means you don't identify as either gender. Does that necessarily make it another gender? In some cultures there are four genders, who's to say that there are only two? You're great for staying strong, Noah. For all of our genderless hearts, we thank and love you.
Even if you don't support or understand non binary people you should still respect them and use their pronouns and name. Or if you want to try and understand them more try doing some research on way some people may feel this way and it may change your mind.

I told a friend I was lesbian (I was still confused on what “gender” I was). He told my entire school. That was in fourth grade. Fifth grade.
