Our technical team checked every little detail to ensure everything on the boat is ready and in top condition, and even made a few improvements to get our racing yacht "Vendée ready"!

I would appreciate a comment on following subject: A recent report on this channel, dealing with substantial improvements applied to the skippers cockpit/ cabin and carried out by IMOCA was very interesting to watch. Enhancements related to: substantially higher level of security inside the cockpit -particularily during rough seas- location of instruments/ computers,displays etc, for better accessibilty, grinder's location, forward visibility, skipper's bunk and many more.
Please let me know., if these improvements, resp."new type" of cockpit has been / will be installed on 'Malizia'' for upcoming Vendee Globe.?

Impressive job! It looks so easy but during my short visit at the Hangar in July I got a feeling how many hours and what a big job has been done by the Team in silence. Looking at it from down here in Australia, it still seems a bit eerie to be playing with race boats in the shadow of the WW2 sub pens. These are things we only see in documentaries. Not a part of our day to day experience.
