Red Earth is such a strange beast of a fighting game, a glorified tech demo that was simultaneously ahead of it's time. the fact that the game was based around a more in depth single player experience meant it was tailor made for a dedicated home port, maybe flesh out the game more, replace the password system with the ability to save your progress, give people more incentive to continue playing. perhaps we could have even gotten a sequel or spiritual successor later on down the line. shame they never did more with the IP (because I refuse to acknowledge the dumpster fire that was CFE)
This is such a neat concept for a game. An RPG fighting hybrid. Definitely has some Dungeons & Dragons arcade vibes too (I loved the two games in that series).
Red Earth is the main featured game along side the entire DarkStalkers/Vampire Saviour series in Capcom Fighting collection which is coming out 4 months from now.
I feel like this game would be right at home on an SNES ( not with the same graphical fidelity of course) But just the RPG Fighting hybrid gives me an SNES feeling.
Each character have different conditions, for Mai Ling: Good Ending: Complete the game using 4 or fewer continues. Bad Ending: Complete the game using between 5 and 19 continues. Simple/Normal Ending Complete the game using 20 or more continues.

Mai Ling looks as if she could be Chun Li’s great ancestor💯
Yes To me she looks like the love child of chunli and Ibuki
Also nicked Lü Bu's hat feathers.
She even has an attack that's similar to spinning bird kick.
Her character design is that of a Japanese CHINA GIRL archetype.
Red earth is an underrated capcom game. They need to bring this back into the present, not just dark stalkers.
Capcom: What did ya say? More Resident Evil and Monster Hunter? Got it!
Us, the players:😑😑

They did with Capcom Fighting Collection out now!
@@OfficialTruDru well at least
this game looks so cool! the designs and colors are fantastic. i prolly would have thrown all my money at this game at the arcade.
Game has that Night Warriors/Dark Stalkers vibe, right down to the voiceover/sound fx & music.
Great job with Mai-Ling on Red Earth.
Oh man, this game looks fun as hell... Not nearly enough single-player-centric fighting games out there, much less with leveling mechanics.
Red Earth needs some more love... wonder if Hamster Corp could collab with Capcom and do an Arcade Archives re-release...
She looks like a mix of Chun-li and Ibuki
this game was not that popular in my area however I remember the system was so special that I ever seen
Strange this never came to the Dreamcast like Street Fighter 3 did.
Bad Ending with a dog? I had that ending before at the arcades I thought that ending was good, the dog was cute.
I didn't know this game, It's very cool!
She should have been in capcom fighting evolution always felt like that game needed wayyy more characters
CFE is a joke.. Most enemies here made it there, but not even one of the protagonists did.
Hey I just subbed to your channel, love the content you upload. I hope you do some Marvel vs Capcom playthrough/longplays and other crossovers.
Beat em up Fighting Game hybrid!
If you were walking by a scenic landscape, and saw a girl fighting a dinosaur; what would you do?
Stop doing drugs, I guess.
@@LaCriaturaDelMar Or do more drugs.

Dammnit Capcom, just bring this one and others back to life again! 😣✊
This sprite work is incredible.
WTF I never knew this game exist thanks for sharing
Ending 2's the average ending to me, when you clear by continuing.
Tao 💖💗
Capcom guys musta smoked a bowl before working on this game.
Nice Game!
What a well designed game. Really interesting characters. Kongou voice sounds like Heihachi from tekken. I bet its the same voice actor.
IT IS. Daisuke Gori voiced Kongou and Leo
Why this game was never ported to home console?
27:15 Who is that blue Mai Ling?
Hauzer is such a sexy beast!
Mi piacerebbe in un futuro DLC della Capcom Arcade Stadium! 👍
Concordo. Sembra uno di quei giochi che ci guadagnerebbe anche con un remake
Me gustó tiene historia y todo
Haulzer’s animation clunky.
Monster Hunter arcade game

I know that game it's released only in Japan 🗾
It was released stateside. It was call warzard in Japan. Here it was red earth. Arcades only here in the US but no console if that's what you meant
Yeah exactly ☺️. Evan
Is this character a boy or a girl? He/she uses a masculine speech pattern.
This game is a Capcom rip-off of SNKs Samurai Showdown?
No.
Absolutely, except in the very minor detail about it being _nothing like Samurai Showdown._
Oh yeah first capcom arcade board 32bits same Sega Saturn CPU but ... Capcom custom graphics chip , better than VDP Sega
