I really miss World Heroes. I played a lot of the Neo Geo version and later the almost perfect Saturn port. I believe this wouldn't sell a lot these days, even the main SNK franchise (KOF) doesn't sell that much so I believe we're never gonna see a new World Heroes. Well, let's at least hope for a WH team as a DLC for KOF XV (I know the timeline wouldn't make sense but a Samurai Shodown team is probably happening so why not)
Very simple. World Heroes is NOT a Snk game. That's why World Heroes never got into KoF either: ADK (makers) didnt agree on it. But SNK really wanted to add WH. Then ADK stopped making fgs in the late 90s, and in the 00s SNK aquired the rights to World Heroes brand. And that's why World Heroes was in Neogeo Battle Coliseum. But all that happened over the mid 00s, years after CvS.
So you can only make a correct criticism or demand about the time after KoF 11. At that point WH was already owned by SNK. So it's totally possible for WH to show up in KoF. (I have little hopes, but that's just me)
