On the topic of crouching, I recently put my GMK into a pose similar to the X-Plus Gigantic but with his tail completely off the shelf. Only fell over when I bumped him once. Had him since release and never tried that before and I think it's my favorite pose now.
I really wish they made his other 3 forms like they did for Shin Goji

Definitely a solid figure and I wish shma would do more figs solid like this.
Love mine a lot and I seem to have gotten lucky with the paint as my only problem was the top row of teeth on the roaring head had them look all stuck with no separation. Mine did have crooked jaws on the normal head too though

My first time seeing a review of SHmonsterarts and I have to say. They are awesome!!! Might get one in the future! Didn’t know you could take them apart so easily (maybe though remains to be seen in person since it may not be so easy looking) and can’t wait for more after subbing today! 👍👍👍
Good luck 👍 , the older and better figures (so most of the figures ) are some of the most expensive action figures out there , but are incredible to collect (I own 6 ) I would suggest getting the new gigantic figure, I own the original and love is but the new one is more affordable

I really hope that i get an atleast decent Copy of the Figure.....if it arrives that is....shit's been delayed almost 4 Months...I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET IT IN JANUARY! *insert jobby rage Scream here*
Anyway, i do love the overall Figure from what i have seen, especially engineering and Articulation wise....like.....holy moly the Legs! THEM LEGS!!!

I actually ordered my Ultima figure not that long ago, of course it's a preorder, this meaning it takes a lot longer than a normal order would. It comes on April 25th, I will edit this comment if anything bad happens to the figure during shipping.
Got mine in Febuary of 2022 at an FYE for the grand price of $80, has the crooked mouth but other than that I have no problems, Sh is really odd with its quality control, you just got to be lucky

I'm so mad that Stupid Gamestop cancelled my Preorder but still had the nerve to see this on their website.
Got mine from Eknightmedia and it was broken out of the box. The peg that connected the chest to the figure was snapped and the optional head didn’t even have the ball connector to connect it to the body 😐 Thankfully I contacted bluefin and I’m getting a second Ultima
Guys, I caved in and bought this guy over other monsterarts... mainly because of this awesome review alone and cuz I got a $30 discount in Amazon (also look at those legs aw gawd!). Daddy long tail comes this thursday so wish me luck!

Never had a problem with the tail falling off so that might be an isolated issue. I frequently pick mine up by the tail... maybe I shouldn't be
The shouldve added weathering/drybrushing to the spines on the grey parts. They feel pretty flat as is.

From what I've seen ALL units have the same issue with the jaw being crooked. And the teeth and eyes are a hit or miss-

I think shma needs to start making movable eyes for these Godzilla figures, then we can correct the position ourselves lol.

As of now, the only other SHAMfams I’ve got on order are SPJet and SPRodan. Mechagodzilla (personally) didn’t feel worth it. And Gigan…..maybe 👀

Is it water proof?
I like the figure overall but the parts that annoy me is the painting on the eyes are sloppy, the panels on the thighs are unnecessary & the hands fall off very easily
But can Ultima do the "Glavenus pose" (tail in mouth)? Shin can.

Sad really if u ask me since 2011 they cant get eyes right basically at all. Is painting eyes that freaking hard too? I have customized eyes on some of my gojis and they are much better then whatever Tamashii is doing. Also this big boy costs almost 200$. Kinda of a ripoff especially bad paint splotches. It does not help this guys been loaded with issues since he dropped last year neither. Tail always falling off/Terrible eye paint and teeth paint. Joints on legs and ankles stuck in place refusing to move at times. As usual the first wave always sucks and IDK why they cant get this right yet for 11 years now.
