When I was in the NAR movement I was deceived. They have a conference yearly called Holy Spirit and none of the pastors who were there when I went in 2018 read from the Bible. It was about prophecy, healing and lots of laughter. Heidi B, Che Ann, Todd White, Lance W., Lou E., amongst many others. worship was led by Jeremy Riddle formerly from Bethel. When Heidi spoke she was mostly on her knees as she indicated being struck by the Holy Spirit. So laughter went on for 20-25 minutes. I didn’t find it funny. Her husband was walking up and down the aisles putting his hands out and people were laughing hysterically. Thank God Reformed me this year. I pray for these people to know the Lord deeply and know the gospel. So many people attend these events and it’s deceiving.

When the worship came on it was very trance, Todd White was the closing speaker at that event and so many people ran towards the stage, crazy! People paid extra to listen to Lance Wallnau during lunch and I found it odd when he was asking for money (not blatantly). Thank God for making me reformed.

When it comes to assessing someone’s faith and their connection with Christ, I exercise great caution. I typically examine their fruits, both past and present. If the fruits are good and Godly, then the tree from which they come should be as well. I also consider their lifestyle. If they lead an extravagant life, using donations for non-essential things like cosmetic surgery, luxury vehicles and homes, or costly vacations, I cease to listen to them. I understand that terms like “extravagant” and “luxury” are subjective. However, a true disciple of Christ, living entirely on donations, who owns a house that costs double or more than the average home in their country, raises questions about their ministry and the way they manage God's provided resources. Such individuals will certainly not receive any financial support from me. Many Christian leaders begin their ministries with a heart for God, but end up being swayed by status and wealth, persisting in their past ways even when they know it’s wrong. Consequently, God allows their sins and desires to blind them permanently. Engaging in biblical discussions is beneficial. However, we must tread carefully when discussing about religious leaders and their way they seek God. We should pray, allowing God to reveal the truth to us without degrading talks, neither investing too much energy into it. We must acknowledge that our knowledge is limited. I have not doubts that there are tons of information about God, His kingdom, and the spiritual realm that we don't know because are not mentioned in the Bible. To put it simply, I prefer to spend my time and energy understanding what God wants specifically from me and for my life, rather than trying to discern if God is working through someone else’s life. That’s just my perspective.
I just heard some testimony of a Will Heart on Remnant Radio and then watched a video of some ministry in Africa with Heidi Baker. You may sit and criticize these people because their theology does not agree with yours but they are seeing hundreds and thousands of people come to Jesus, whole villages. They are also seeing major healing and deliverance miracles and people deep in witchcraft being delivered and saved. Maybe you should report some of that along with your critique of them.

Dear brother, I don’t know if you will read this. I also don’t know how many others will read this, but I say this humbly and with a sober mind, “ please be more gentle with your judgements and how you label people.” I say this not to boast , but so that you and others might understand my viewpoint. I have an undergrad in Biblical Theological studies from a university that had deep Southern Baptist roots. I attended Seminary for a while. Some of my favorite Pastors, teachers, and authors are John Piper, Timothy Keller, Matt Chandler, Francis Chan and Charles Stanley . Therefore, I deeply value the inerrant Word of God and desire sound doctrine. However, I did also spend the entire summer in 2007 at the missionary base in Mozambique with Iris ministries. Heidi is a amazing, beautiful, and humble woman of God. Do I agree with every single thing she says? No, BUT she exalts Christ, loves Him, encourages intimacy with Him of utmost importance, she stays true to the essentials of biblical Christianity and probably is the most loving person I have ever met. My summer there was some of the most beautiful, holy and challenging months of my entire life. I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. Lord bless you brother and all who may think poorly of her.

I think you are right she is kind and loving. I think anyone who rescues children from rubbish heaps has to have the heart of God. I let Him judge. My problem is I feel that I am a terrible Christian because I couldn’t do what she does. She only preaches love and grace. What can be wrong with that. She is very dramatic and over the top at times when she speaks but I believe people have to be careful of any deception in any church it’s the last days

Hi, Polite Leader! I'm from Mozambique and live in Maputo near the Iris Ministry. They take of street children and have a community school and hospital. I used to go there to have some meals and attend they church services. I could tell there is something wrong with the way worship, I never saw her in person, everyone knows her by "mama Aida". I went there a long ago, around 1998-2000. People were taught to manifest the presence of the Holy Spirit the same way, I never forgot that picture. I was 18 years old then, but that image is still in my mind and I felt it was wrong because I grew up in Pentecostal church, we only went there for meals. 2 years ago, I came across a video on RUclips of TD Jakes vs John MacArthur on John 3:10, and the producers of that video were on a series of false teachers vs good ones. And They I saw Heidi Baker too. Thank you for the good work. Unfortunately, many of the evangelicals I know, wouldn't believe if I told them of mama Heidi's false doctrine... because most people work there as teachers... and are very well paid. We pray that God's true doctrine through His Holy Spirit may touch them. Amen

I'm not asking this question in defence of Heidi, but for those who call themselves cessationist and do not believe in modern day apostles and prophets, how is it that you can believe in modern day pastors, teachers and evangelists but not the other two roles in the five fold ministry as spoken of by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians? As he wrote that these were given for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come in the unity of the faith. A quick glance at the body of Christ today would tell you that we are not perfected nor are we in unity with regards to our faith. If the other roles are needed, we would the other two be discarded for today?
@David Walker Hi David. I addressed this question in another one of my NAR videos. We do believe the apostles and prophets are continuing to edify the church. They are doing this through their writings in the Word of God which is contained within the pages of the Old and New Testaments. There is no office of prophet in the New Testament. There is an office for pastor, elder and overseer however. The office for apostle was restricted to the 12 and Paul. There is no evidence for a continual office for apostle. I hope that helps.

I once upon a time started to watch videos where men and women of God were being exposed by other men and women of God. I realized that these videos seem to do more damage than good on most cases. How is it that the body of Christ is so full of division? May the Holy Spirit help us all on individual levels to discern the truth and act with his kind of love and not a judgemental spirit or hypocritical one. God can never be put in a box and everyone's faith and assignment is different. May we love one another and correct one another in love. Most of these comments are rude and love is not rude. Anyway, one's relationship with God is personal and we will all answer accordingly. If we can all remember, Apostle Peter had done something wrong which Apostle Paul addressed in one of his letters, but that did not mean that Apostle Peter was now a false teacher or not a child of God. He just was not perfect and acted out of the flesh. All he needed was correction and repentance. So, what's happening in the church today? Why are we fighting ourselves?

Bethel Church in CA is NAR. I watched a video of Heidi Baker's antics at that church and was sickened at what I saw. I was convinced that it was the power of Satan I was observing, not the power of God. I shared this video with our pastor because I have been troubled that some of the worship songs chosen to sing in our church comes from Bethel Church! There were two songs in particular I brought to the attention of our worship leader because the lyrics we're not scriptural.

I have to say Heidi Baker certainly does exhibit bizarre behavior or manifestations, but when you look at the fruits of her life, ministry and character it 100% lines up with Galatians 5 love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control and I have never seen anyone love Jesus and lay down their life for him and the poorest of the poor, also, she has put her life on the line for the sake of the gospel so please, be biblical here and judge her the way Scripture tells us to judge people, “by their fruit you will recognize them.” This whole NAR conspiracy is utter nonsense.

Many of my friends have gone to do ministry with Heidi in Africa. They have seen the miracles and and salvations all in the name of Jesus. I was raised Reformed and raised with the word of God and went to Christian schools 1st through 12th grade. At age 44 God filled me with the Holy Spirit and His power has rested on me. Heid reads the word, worships and prays till noon. Then she does ministry. She is the real deal and is filled with the Holy Spirit. Most of you speak of things you have yet to experience and assume falsely that it can't happen to you. Heidi has been shot at jailed and has had some of her trained ministers killed! She has paid a great cost for her faith and has never given up. If you went to Mozambique in faith not doubting you to would see and minister in the kind of power she walks in daily and you to would have similar results! You all need to take leaps of faith like Heidi and watch God show up. You speak of what you don't know and that's ignorance.
Heidi Baker has spent her life and ministry in Africa serving children who are hungry and hurting. She’s sharing the gospel of Jesus to them. Why didn’t you share any of that? This is so twisted. Leon Hiew. I agree. We need more than Ms. Baker associates with those who advocate for the offices of prophet and apostle. However, we do not see the type of experience Ms. Baker states happened to her in this video confirmed in the NT or the OT scriptures that I know of. We cannot find something like this happening to believers (or God's people) in scripture. So her testimony of this experience being the Holy Spirit's sovereign act upon her is concerning. What is in the scripture is "each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation (*prophecy), a tongue, or an interpretation".
I think this is good work. But I can imagine this flying over a charismatic church-goer’s head because whatever that has been highlighted is normative to their church experience. I was introduced to her in a mega church that claims that Heidi Baker can turn tornadoes away (because she herself claims that). I was wondering if there is something that could flesh out her aberrant theology such that a charismatic church-goes watching could have the scales removed from their eyes.
@@l3on3w I think that the believer has to lose trust in their church or leadership. Something devastating has to happen usually involving God's intervention, I think. If believers are reading their Bible chapter by chapter I think this helps. As far as I know many charismatic churches teach the authority of the scriptures. In scripture we do see Jesus stopping a storm, Elijah's prayer bringing rain after a severe drought, and Joshua stopping the sun from setting , so it's not out of the realm of possibility for a believer to affect weather. But it would be an unusual occurance I believe.

Gordon Robertson (son of Pat) has had Heidi on _The 700 Club_ several times. In these segments, she has recounted many "miracles" of God in Mozambique, including people being raised from the dead. She gets high praise because she helps the poor, but at what cost (no pun intended)? How much damage has she done, spiritually, in Mozambique?
People in Mozambique and almost entire Africa have no discernment most especially those in the village in Mozambique there are born around witchcraft that's why probably she goes there to get powers who knows.

When I was in the NAR movement I was deceived. They have a conference yearly called Holy Spirit and none of the pastors who were there when I went in 2018 read from the Bible. It was about prophecy, healing and lots of laughter. Heidi B, Che Ann, Todd White, Lance W., Lou E., amongst many others. worship was led by Jeremy Riddle formerly from Bethel. When Heidi spoke she was mostly on her knees as she indicated being struck by the Holy Spirit. So laughter went on for 20-25 minutes. I didn’t find it funny. Her husband was walking up and down the aisles putting his hands out and people were laughing hysterically.
Thank God Reformed me this year. I pray for these people to know the Lord deeply and know the gospel. So many people attend these events and it’s deceiving.

When it comes to assessing someone’s faith and their connection with Christ, I exercise great caution.
I typically examine their fruits, both past and present. If the fruits are good and Godly, then the tree from which they come should be as well. I also consider their lifestyle. If they lead an extravagant life, using donations for non-essential things like cosmetic surgery, luxury vehicles and homes, or costly vacations, I cease to listen to them.
I understand that terms like “extravagant” and “luxury” are subjective. However, a true disciple of Christ, living entirely on donations, who owns a house that costs double or more than the average home in their country, raises questions about their ministry and the way they manage God's provided resources. Such individuals will certainly not receive any financial support from me.
Many Christian leaders begin their ministries with a heart for God, but end up being swayed by status and wealth, persisting in their past ways even when they know it’s wrong. Consequently, God allows their sins and desires to blind them permanently.
Engaging in biblical discussions is beneficial. However, we must tread carefully when discussing about religious leaders and their way they seek God. We should pray, allowing God to reveal the truth to us without degrading talks, neither investing too much energy into it.
We must acknowledge that our knowledge is limited. I have not doubts that there are tons of information about God, His kingdom, and the spiritual realm that we don't know because are not mentioned in the Bible.
To put it simply, I prefer to spend my time and energy understanding what God wants specifically from me and for my life, rather than trying to discern if God is working through someone else’s life. That’s just my perspective.
I just heard some testimony of a Will Heart on Remnant Radio and then watched a video of some ministry in Africa with Heidi Baker. You may sit and criticize these people because their theology does not agree with yours but they are seeing hundreds and thousands of people come to Jesus, whole villages. They are also seeing major healing and deliverance miracles and people deep in witchcraft being delivered and saved. Maybe you should report some of that along with your critique of them.

I don’t know if you will read this. I also don’t know how many others will read this, but I say this humbly and with a sober mind, “ please be more gentle with your judgements and how you label people.”
I say this not to boast , but so that you and others might understand my viewpoint. I have an undergrad in Biblical Theological studies from a university that had deep Southern Baptist roots. I attended Seminary for a while. Some of my favorite Pastors, teachers, and authors are John Piper, Timothy Keller, Matt Chandler, Francis Chan and Charles Stanley . Therefore, I deeply value the inerrant Word of God and desire sound doctrine. However, I did also spend the entire summer in 2007 at the missionary base in Mozambique with Iris ministries.
Heidi is a amazing, beautiful, and humble woman of God. Do I agree with every single thing she says? No, BUT she exalts Christ, loves Him, encourages intimacy with Him of utmost importance, she stays true to the essentials of biblical Christianity and probably is the most loving person I have ever met.
My summer there was some of the most beautiful, holy and challenging months of my entire life. I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.

I think you are right she is kind and loving. I think anyone who rescues children from rubbish heaps has to have the heart of God. I let Him judge. My problem is I feel that I am a terrible Christian because I couldn’t do what she does. She only preaches love and grace. What can be wrong with that. She is very dramatic and over the top at times when she speaks but I believe people have to be careful of any deception in any church it’s the last days

Hi, Polite Leader! I'm from Mozambique and live in Maputo near the Iris Ministry. They take of street children and have a community school and hospital. I used to go there to have some meals and attend they church services. I could tell there is something wrong with the way worship, I never saw her in person, everyone knows her by "mama Aida". I went there a long ago, around 1998-2000. People were taught to manifest the presence of the Holy Spirit the same way, I never forgot that picture. I was 18 years old then, but that image is still in my mind and I felt it was wrong because I grew up in Pentecostal church, we only went there for meals. 2 years ago, I came across a video on RUclips of TD Jakes vs John MacArthur on John 3:10, and the producers of that video were on a series of false teachers vs good ones. And They I saw Heidi Baker too. Thank you for the good work. Unfortunately, many of the evangelicals I know, wouldn't believe if I told them of mama Heidi's false doctrine... because most people work there as teachers... and are very well paid. We pray that God's true doctrine through His Holy Spirit may touch them. Amen

I'm not asking this question in defence of Heidi, but for those who call themselves cessationist and do not believe in modern day apostles and prophets, how is it that you can believe in modern day pastors, teachers and evangelists but not the other two roles in the five fold ministry as spoken of by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians? As he wrote that these were given for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come in the unity of the faith. A quick glance at the body of Christ today would tell you that we are not perfected nor are we in unity with regards to our faith. If the other roles are needed, we would the other two be discarded for today?
@David Walker Hi David. I addressed this question in another one of my NAR videos. We do believe the apostles and prophets are continuing to edify the church. They are doing this through their writings in the Word of God which is contained within the pages of the Old and New Testaments. There is no office of prophet in the New Testament. There is an office for pastor, elder and overseer however. The office for apostle was restricted to the 12 and Paul. There is no evidence for a continual office for apostle. I hope that helps.

I once upon a time started to watch videos where men and women of God were being exposed by other men and women of God. I realized that these videos seem to do more damage than good on most cases. How is it that the body of Christ is so full of division? May the Holy Spirit help us all on individual levels to discern the truth and act with his kind of love and not a judgemental spirit or hypocritical one. God can never be put in a box and everyone's faith and assignment is different. May we love one another and correct one another in love. Most of these comments are rude and love is not rude. Anyway, one's relationship with God is personal and we will all answer accordingly.
If we can all remember, Apostle Peter had done something wrong which Apostle Paul addressed in one of his letters, but that did not mean that Apostle Peter was now a false teacher or not a child of God. He just was not perfect and acted out of the flesh. All he needed was correction and repentance. So, what's happening in the church today? Why are we fighting ourselves?

Bethel Church in CA is NAR. I watched a video of Heidi Baker's antics at that church and was sickened at what I saw. I was convinced that it was the power of Satan I was observing, not the power of God. I shared this video with our pastor because I have been troubled that some of the worship songs chosen to sing in our church comes from Bethel Church! There were two songs in particular I brought to the attention of our worship leader because the lyrics we're not scriptural.

Many of my friends have gone to do ministry with Heidi in Africa. They have seen the miracles and and salvations all in the name of Jesus. I was raised Reformed and raised with the word of God and went to Christian schools 1st through 12th grade. At age 44 God filled me with the Holy Spirit and His power has rested on me. Heid reads the word, worships and prays till noon. Then she does ministry. She is the real deal and is filled with the Holy Spirit. Most of you speak of things you have yet to experience and assume falsely that it can't happen to you. Heidi has been shot at jailed and has had some of her trained ministers killed! She has paid a great cost for her faith and has never given up. If you went to Mozambique in faith not doubting you to would see and minister in the kind of power she walks in daily and you to would have similar results! You all need to take leaps of faith like Heidi and watch God show up. You speak of what you don't know and that's ignorance.

Leon Hiew. I agree. We need more than Ms. Baker associates with those who advocate for the offices of prophet and apostle. However, we do not see the type of experience Ms. Baker states happened to her in this video confirmed in the NT or the OT scriptures that I know of. We cannot find something like this happening to believers (or God's people) in scripture. So her testimony of this experience being the Holy Spirit's sovereign act upon her is concerning. What is in the scripture is "each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation (*prophecy), a tongue, or an interpretation".
I think this is good work. But I can imagine this flying over a charismatic church-goer’s head because whatever that has been highlighted is normative to their church experience. I was introduced to her in a mega church that claims that Heidi Baker can turn tornadoes away (because she herself claims that). I was wondering if there is something that could flesh out her aberrant theology such that a charismatic church-goes watching could have the scales removed from their eyes.
@@l3on3w I think that the believer has to lose trust in their church or leadership. Something devastating has to happen usually involving God's intervention, I think. If believers are reading their Bible chapter by chapter I think this helps. As far as I know many charismatic churches teach the authority of the scriptures. In scripture we do see Jesus stopping a storm, Elijah's prayer bringing rain after a severe drought, and Joshua stopping the sun from setting , so it's not out of the realm of possibility for a believer to affect weather. But it would be an unusual occurance I believe.
Just ask him how many orphans he has taken from rubbish dumps and housed and fed. That is living the gospel.

People in Mozambique and almost entire Africa have no discernment most especially those in the village in Mozambique there are born around witchcraft that's why probably she goes there to get powers who knows.
