This was so helpful. My husband and I came out of a pentecostal NAR church we had been members of for over 30 yrs. 3 yrs clean now and growing in our knowledge of the scripture.
thank you for explaining and giving a full overview of the NAR which is hard to put into words! I'm sharing this video with friends who are caught up with this and don't know the danger. Very helpful\
Praying was and still is difficult for me. I left WoF/NAR in Dec 2023 and then I was diagnosed with Cancer in Feb 2024. I am learning to trust in Him as I walk through this, I know He can still heal but I am not declaring and degreeing it. I am thanking Him, that in everything I give praise to Him, and whether I live or die, all Glory goes to Him!.
As someone that left some of theses false teachings, this message is so vital today. As described, I left everything behind to seek truth. However, this type of teaching was very difficult to find. I’ve been so blessed to see many others coming out of these false doctrines. May all believers receive wisdom and guidance to fulfill the call He’s given us, to be His ambassadors and share the gospel.
When I left my NAR church there was NO TEACHING about it. It was 2015 and the only thing I could find was about the Kundinlini spirit at Toronto Blessing. And God told me that word. That was it. I had to figure out I was in a thing by stories I heard other people tell. Then about 2017 the teaching began. The best thing about having no teaching was that holy spirit took off the false teaching and took me thro bible. That was great.
@katherinebangle540 true, but the deception is strong, maybe because of our sinful nature and itching ears - even those who grew up hearing and reading the Bible can fall for it. I grew up in the Dutch Reformed church in South Africa as far back as the sixties and seventies and I was gradually led into this movement both by teaching within the church and by the influence of friends and interchurch meetings. I live in rural NZ now - there's Christians all over the country but it's very, very hard to find a Biblically and doctrinally sound church and very little left of the faith of their founding fathers. Praise God that eventually He stirred me up to start asking questions because the Scripture that I've known since my childhood did not agree with what was happening around me. Hypercharismania, New Age influence in the church and the NAR is rearing its head everywhere 🙁

So heartbreaking for their followers 💔 the NAR movement is not WORD centered, CHRIST centered, or Gospel centered - it is all about experience. They may gain the world by compromising the Gospel, but JESUS said, "What will it profit a man to gain the world, but lose his own soul." GOD bless you, Sir, great video 🙏❤️
Alice Bailey's plan worked. She wrote that they would use the church to spread a false esoteric gospel and cause people to interpret scripture by personal experience.
@@libertymaria-0925New Apostolic Reformation, which they made up and say that God has started using prophets and apostles again. Hebrews 1:1-2 proves that God speaks to us now by His Son. The NAR is mixed in all of movements: Charismatic, Word Faith, (name it claim it, blab it grab it, money cometh etc) Seeker Sensative, Purpose Driven, Emerging, Elevation, Bethel, Toronto Blessing/Cursing(fleshly laughter) Every one of these movements are narcissistic men(and women) controlling people in turn for their own gain and power.
When I was first saved I was brought to nar church right away they tried to puff me up calling me a prophetess and a leader etc. but then also tried to destroy my reputation by telling people I had demons on me. Thankfully I was determined to know the truth so I kept reading the bible and I could see so much wrong in that church compared to what the bible says. I left and feel so glad I did.
It takes more then calling them out, and I am not seeing people that can prove themselves either way with scripture. It's a day of extreme spiritual confusion.
Can you share anything that could help others escape this? I have dear friends in the cult and welcome any warnings and advice that might help me help them see through the strong delusion. Thank you and may the grace of God cover you with love, strength and protection. 🙏
Hi Terry, you're welcome to contact me - famineintheland2@gmail.com I hate the damage this movement inflicts on folks, so if there's any way I can assist please let me know.
Great overview. I remember the shepherding doctrine, word of faith and prosperity creeping in to our church... and the man of God on stage who regularly boasted "in the Lord" of all the miracles and word of knowledge God did through him, and the vision God gave him to start our church. He was later outed as a serial pedophile. You are spot on. People didn't want boring churches, they wanted the new and exciting, and flocked there. What came with the new was the latest heresy, eg. Wof, prosperity, shepherding, music, production. Sad that Christ's work on the cross is not enough, is insufficient to so many. Thank you again
Hey Rick, So glad for you starting this channel. You have so much to offer to this dialogue famine in the land is one of the go to sources for research and information. Thanks for starting off here, especially with looking at cult tendencies, and comparing to the NAR.
@@michelerivera2330 Me too! This stuff is growing. It's infiltrating even tiny churches in rural farming areas. My heart is heavy over it as people I love and thought were very doctrinally sound have been swept away. It's like watching a horror movie. 😖 💔
Thank you for relaying a fine and timely message. As someone who’s been a Believer since 1971, the state of the Church has become horrific. Most point their fingers at the more “liberal” churches and denominations, and there are terrible problems. But most are ignoring the equally (or more) horrible problems with the more “conservative” churches and denominations. Not only the actual NAR and associated churches, but more conventional ones that have become grossly nationalistic and political. It’s as if THIS is their kingdom, and all they really want. This passage resonates heavily, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s one of Scripture’s most terrifying passages: Matthew 7: 21-23
Thank you for speaking out against this, I was a new believer and stuck at home watching sermons at home and had just enough discernment to know it was confusing - I pray more people come out of it . Let's all pray for sound doctrine 🙏
I left this type of church, that seemed to have been infiltrated slowly over time, and it seemed to coincide with the removal of pastors who thought directly from the Bible, going deep into the word and applying hermeneutics, but no one seemed to notice my departure, nor come to ask any questions, which I find even more telling. Now I’m hesitant to step into a building unless they teach the unadulterated word of God.
Well done and a hearty Yorker welcome! So wonderful to greet you here on RUclips! You have so much wisdom to share and help those in deception to be free of the lies. It’s the gracious truth of our Lord Jesus Christ who has rescued us from such darkness. I thank Him for how He continues to use you along this narrow path. 😊
I encourage all my brothers & sisters not let these false Apostles with their hierarchy & false leadership enslave you. Stay strong in the Gospel & the equality of all beleivers. Opppse & shed light on the error of Hierarchy in the church & teach equality of all beleivers where authority isn't usurped by an individual but rather remains in the body of beleivers as Jesus intended.
33:39 this is something I’ve been realizing lately. It makes me sad. It’s also made me understand that the Church is a whole lot smaller than it would seem from the outside. 😢
I attended a church for over 20 years and left because I identified with many of the things you have mentioned. I stuck it out as long as I could until it was no longer tolerable. I used to be prominent in the weekly church prayer meeting, so I was not anonymous. The church leadership never bothered to follow up with me why I left (which was maybe a good thing), which proved to me that I was not really valued as a person, but only a number. There is definitely an aspect of subtle brainwashing and manipulation and control in such churches.
In Corinthiers Jesus did give us 9 supernatural gifts… and He said we should go and do the same… and I have seen healing myself not done by an apostle or any preacher but by a normal Christian who believes that we can pray for healing… and I saw it with my own eyes.
That's your testimony not mine. I am an ex-charismatic of 25 years. I sorry to say it took me that long to get out. I never witnessed a miracle or healing in those 25 years. I also watch CBN starting in 1976 , then TBN and Daystar. I followed the top Charismatic leaders for 25 years. They all displayed the same fake healings and no miracles, even though they claimed they happened. They have hundreds of false prophets and never call them out. Swaggert, Hagin, Copeland, Prince, Simpson, Baxter, Bakker, Womack, Hinn, White and others are all fake. They claim all power but can't discern Mike Bickle was a pedophile.
I believe the most vulnerable are brand new babes in Christ who don't immediately immerse themselves in sound biblical teaching. When I 1st came to the Lord I assumed everyone who held a bible and quoted a verse was a trusted source of biblical truth. ... never occurred to me to question! Watched TBN religiously believing I had found a source of biblical doctrine. This was in 1980, when the worst of the worst heretics were featured every night! How I would have benefitted from ministries such as this one. May the Lord use your words to deliver many from deception. 🌷
Really appreciate the points you've brought up in this conversation. However, if I may challenge you, Cessationism is doing a similar disservice to the gospel. There is a reality beyond both Cessationism and sensationalism: it is the reality of the gospel itself. A gospel without the living, breathing God who heals the sick and sets the captives free is not the gospel at all. While I feel sadness and shame at the misuse of God's word to prop up ministries and kingdoms that men have built for themselves (even in the name of Jesus), I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). It is the power of God. I think we often deny what we are afraid to get wrong-especially when we see people not only getting it wrong but doing so maliciously, causing harm to the body of Christ. We are living in times much like those of Paul (Acts 16:16-18), where diviners, soothsayers, and those practicing spirituality and accessing power outside of the Holy Spirit exist. In a society desperately seeking to know and interact with the spiritual, these practices are becoming normalized. We need discernment to recognize that even evil spirits can say true things, as was the case with Paul (Acts 19:15). Grappling with what we cannot see, and believing God's word despite our experiences, is just as important as believing God's Word over our-or anyone else's-experiences. Cessationism rationalizes our denial of the Word of God in order to make sense of our experiences, just as sensationalism rationalizes the denial or distortion of God's word to align with our experiences. Believing what God says about all things-including healing and the spiritual realm-is as much a part of our Christian walk as anything else we do. Due to confusion and manipulation surrounding the present-day power of God within Christianity, many have found a "safer harbor" in declaring that there's no supernatural activity at all. And yes, atheists or individuals who don't know Jesus would agree with that view. But there are also many-and this number is increasing-who know and have experienced the reality of powers and principalities (Ephesians 6:12). They need to understand that the same powers they were oppressed by and/or or accessed power from bow and flee before the name and person of Jesus. These forces are in submission to Him. We've taken the gift of the Holy Spirit that Jesus gave us, severed it from the gift of salvation, and buried it in the sand while we simply wait for His return. But this too brings reproach upon the gospel. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). We did not receive a dead gospel. We should not be puffed up. Biblically, those who walked in the supernatural also walked in great humility before both God and men (Philippians 2:3-8). Jesus Himself warns that there will be many who say, "Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and perform many mighty works in Your name?" Yet He will say, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness" (Matthew 7:21-23). He is not a liar. I don't claim to know what's happening in meetings I've only seen online or attended with the wholehearted desire to see and know Christ and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2), but I agree: the fruit of many ministries, the lack of character, and the mishandling of God's Word is far too prevalent, and we know that scripture warns us of this (2 Timothy 3). Yet, I would also challenge you to consider that there are many genuine people walking humbly before the Lord. When they come to realize the error, cult-like tendencies, unbiblical teachings, and mishandling of God's people in NAR ministries they’ve served in or identified with for years, their response has been deep and immediate repentance (Matthew 3:8). For example, Allen Hood and other former leaders at IHOP-godly men and women-stepped up and put their lives on the line to expose and repent of what they now recognize as organization-wide issues and idolatry. However, many leaders whom the Lord exposes as false-both in heart and often in teaching or practice-refuse to repent because they don’t want to lose the kingdoms they’ve worked so hard to build (1 Peter 5:2-3). We need to be incredibly good stewards of the Word of God and this precious faith entrusted to us. Thank you for your time in making this video and reading this comment. May God bless you as you seek to honour Him in all that you do, as faithfully as you can.
Rachel, I couldn't have expressed this viewpoint any better. I was introduced to the Word of Faith Movement in the mid '80's. I attended a well known church who had all the "big names" come for Camp Meeting as well as other times throughout the year. I experienced a real encounter with Jesus but as a young Christian bought into some of the heresy of the Movement. Unfortunately, when you use God as a vending machine, it builds a shallow faith when times get tough and temptation comes. After years of wandering around in the desert, I recommited myself to and started to read the Bible from beginning to end. I realized how many verses were taken out of context by this movement and repented. I am by no means a cessationist, but I now exegete the scripture in the context it was written. I am so grateful the Holy Spirit revealed the deception I was exposed to, but also made me aware that I didn't need to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I am grateful for ministries that expose the deception of the day. Initially, I questioned everything I once believed concerning continuation but now I'm in a good, balanced place with scriptural doctrine. ❤
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4. Church history has shown that whenever new claimants to the office of apostle have arisen, so have false teachings. The teachings of many such persons today, as we have seen, are shocking in the extremity of their error. C. Peter Wagner was correct when claiming that churches that he terms “apostolic” in this new sense are part of the fastest growing segment of the church in the world today - this is proof of massive end time apostasy (“falling away” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3) and not the revival he claims it to be. The Word of God does not predict a great end time ‘revival’ or ushering in the Kingdom of God, but rather the very opposite; increasing evil, times of peril, false teachings, false prophets and deceptive signs and wonders.
The Passion "translation" Is not even considered a biblical manuscript because the margin of error from the original text is too great, say biblical scholars. So you may call it the NAR book but not a bible of the Holy scripture. The only translation on par as bad as the "Passion" is the "Mirror", or actually, if possible, is worse. It literally is actually like a mirror, it says the opposite of the Holy Bible. Beware folks. Walk Circumspectly. Ephesians 5:15
I was very much in this movement, NAR & word of faith teaching, but thankfully God brought me out of this . Unlearning a lot of this staff. It’s also they teach we r little gods & …..thank you for explaining this so well. This NaAR teaching is so wrong. Yeees to leave it is the only way!
Your videos have been so helpful to me. Praise God for the truth of His word. I have a question, what's the difference between a pastor who is deceived (or a sister or brother) vs the wolf? I get confused because I was in these false movements but I was deceived and by God's grace I have walked away from it all: Ministry, friends, pastor... But how do I know if someone is deceived like I was, or if they are a wolf in sheep's clothing? Or even the deceived is considered a wolf? I appreciate anything you can share with me 🙂 God bless you brother and thank you again for making these videos. 🙏🏻
Good question Carol - because there is a distinction that should be made. A wolf is an unbeliever, a blatant deceiver. When we read about false prophets in the scriptures, we know they are wolves, the same with false teachers. But the label "false teacher" is sometimes incorrectly used to describe a pastor or teacher who is unqualified to teach because they cannot rightly divide the word of God - their teachings will have serious error and they need correction, as did Peter (Galatians 2:11-12) and Apollos (Acts 18:26). A pastor/teacher and a believer can be deceived in some areas. When shown their error, it's their response that gives us an indication of whether they are misled believers or believers/pastors in error. For example, if a pastor is teaching serious error and responds to correction positively, repents, and if necessary step down until he has learnt to rightly divide the scriptures, it's a good sign. At times, especially in the church it may be hard to distinguish between wheat and tares, but ultimately their fruits will be revealed within time. It is however difficult in some cases to determine whether someone caught up in Bethel for example, is a true believer that's temporarily deceived, or an unbeliever, God is the judge. Our part is to pray for them and warn them when we have the opportunity.
@@famineintheland6967 thank you so much for answering the question, brother. I was able to understand your points very clearly. Praise God! The new thing that's happening in smaller churches that are following the NAR and WOF teachings is, if you go to the Bible to test what it's being said, you are called a religious spirit. And if you don't get healed is because the timing is not right and only God knows why, yet they "cast out" the spirit of sickness, but you are never really free from that "spirit" nor healed. I didn't know how abusive I had become towards other people while I was in that movement. My husband recently told me that he was able to see something was not right with me. I was caught up in the deliverance ministry part of the deception for 7 years!!! It was exhausting and everything was a demon and everyone had a demon. I regret that and I am grateful to God for His grace and mercy that truly saved me from deception. Your videos have been so helpful to me, and if you are able to, could you make a video on the deliverance ministry unbiblical practices? The last "deliverance session" I had, I was told to close my eyes and imagine Jesus in my head. And they asked "what is he saying, what is he doing?" That's when the Lord pulled me away from that deception, He opened my eyes to the dangers of that practice. They are practicing new age and teaching Christians to visualize Jesus in their minds and return people's souls back to them... It's a big mess of deception and dangerous spiritual practices that only leads people away from the God of the Bible. God bless you brother, may the Lord continue to give you grace to keep sharing these false teachings and to help us with biblical teachings. I can imagine the hardships you all go through for sharing the truth of God's word, but it's helping many deceived Christians like myself to wake up and return to the truth. I praise God for His endurance and patience, and for the many brothers, Pastors, and sisters who are trying to help others who have been deceived. May God's blessings be with you in Jesus name 🙏🏻

Pagan Celtic St Columba, whose motto proclaimed “Christ is my Druid,” was held in high regard by leading false prophet of The Manifest Sons of God/Latter Rain Movement, William Branham. On his occult masonic pyramid-shaped tombstone in Jeffersonville, Indiana are inscribed the names of the seven churches of Revelation and seven men. If the two faces of the pyramid juxtaposed one over the other, the fourth church and man listed is Thyatirean - Columba.
I was a part of that some 40 years ago. The NAR is much more insidious and has much greater reach and impact And Prince’s misunderstanding regarding of demons and curses render his ‘wisdom’ as beyond flawed
This movement is really plundering the faith... My comfort is that The Lord Jesus Christ is faithful&true.. One of my biggest and saddest realizations after leaving these false churches was there are no Godly women in my city. What I thought were Godly women in Port Elizabeth, were ALL in fact false converts. It went from 10s of women to an absolute ZERO. God saved me from these false teachers. I can only give God glory for His saving grace and mercy on my soul.
I was in the NAR and was emotional and financially abused .CFC teaches that you must secure your salvation with the tithe and then the latest that you must legitimize your sonship with the tithe. I did see that the seven mountain mandate is not biblical.
John 14:12. Means that those that follow Jesus will lead more to Christ than Christ Himself did. Is there a greater miracle than a dead soul coming back to life ?? No, there is not. We cannot do miracles greater than Jesus. Only in number …
@deborahthorp758 Can you give the scripture in the Bible where the word, 'denomination' is written in the scriptures? ... this word is not in the Bible.. In I Corinthians1:12-17 - Paul gave a polite rebuke to those who were claiming their faith in Christ was based upon the man (leader/ 'denominational doctrine" ) they were following... In this passage he declared that God did not send him to baptize anyone under a man (church doctrine /modern day denomination) ...but to simply preach the Gospel.... So, he wrote, "For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect."
I agree with this reply, I never have believed in denominations because of this scripture you quoted ,I am of Paul ,ect. Is Christ divided. Preach the Gospel, preach the word. Follow Jesus , put His words into practice.

Yeah, King Jesus said, in Mark 16; 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Matthew 28, 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
@@CieloVistaSoftware yeah, multitudes of false prophets. For me prophets might confirm what God is already saying to me. It more of a possible confirmation than looking for a new message. The Holy Spirt is supernatural and it’s not always easy to know what really Him? God is very creative as He never healed people the same way. He deals with us individually. It’s like proverb 14v 4, King James Bible, Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. I don’t like oxen as they poop way too much and smell bad.
What if your church is OK but could be more theologically rich? It’s not necessarily super Carismatic, but it does use some songs from more charismatic groups? What then?
Are there any other options where you live? One thing I would be doing at least is listen to sound teachings online, read theologically rich books and commentaries, etc.
@@famineintheland6967 listening to sound teaching online is how I’ve made up a lot of the difference. While some of it is admittedly related to effort, part of the rub I seem to have is finding a good, solid church that isn’t Calvinist, and working up the world to ask my parents to drive me someplace else. Being totally blind, I am dependent on other people to get me places. And of course, there is the emotional toll of leaving.
11:15 - and Jesus breathed on him (Brian Simmons) The same way Jesus did his disciples to commission them to write scripture so Simmons can write the Passion Transalation. What did his breath smell like Simmons? Fish? Vanilla ice tea? Bourbon? Candy?
Oh no. This movement certainly exists. Dr. Michael Browns protestations not withstanding.. Chris Rosebrough, Steven Kozar (The Messed Up Church), Justin Peters and others have many videos regarding this perversion of the Christian faith.
I would argue that the apostates of the NAR, are in fact, "going about their father's business". A serpent can shed his skin, but it's still a serpent. The NAR is clearly a pit of vipers.
Their extra- Biblical "revelations" which are scripture twisting. And their total lack of humility before God. No body can question them and their false doctrine. Deliver us Lord from "itching" ears.
What are you talking about, cult-like? They are cult in all possible descriptions. They come to their 'worship' gathering to first of all to receive. Second, they worship their guru that tell them tells and stories about themselves. Jesus is just a necessary person to validate that they preach a 'gospel'.
Falling out in the spirit where you can’t getup for hours, is an amazing experience and you feel like the Spirit of God is all over you. Tried getting up and couldn’t, was like my arms were fastened down.
It wasn’t falling out in Gods spirit. It was satan’s work. Hindus, Buddhists , and other cults do the same. Too many so called churches nowadays rely on feelings not what the Bible teaches. The Bible is enough . The PERFECT WORD OF GOD
I tried Reformed churches after being biblically starved in the Charismatic churches I was part of. Cold, judgemental, starchy, rigid, fearful, controlling, a sense of intellectual superiority, Sunday and bible study only Christians…are just a few words to describe my experience. MacArthur’s Strange Fire Conference was the pinnacle of most of these things and was as much cultic as anything else.
Seek Holy Spirit - stay home, open your bible - invite Jesus to sit with you and wait on HIM until HE leads you where to go to worship- Many christians are just worshiping from home and finding others to worship with in small groups- just like the early church. This is exactly what has happened in my life and I have such a close walk with the Lord now- I have grown so much spiritually and have seen God move in the lives of my loved ones in amazing ways. The Great Shepard will lead you
@@wolves201Biblical theology is inestimably superior to a poor understanding of the nature and sovereignty of God. A few questions..brother. 1 So are you of the cessationist doctrine? 2) what does John 14.12 mean to you? 3) Do you operate in the power of the holy spirit? Do you have any understanding around the 'Accuser of the breathrin' ?
Those he speaks of are NOT our brothers. They preach a different Christ than is revealed in the Bible. So we aren’t ‘touching God’s anointed’ because they aren’t from God and most certainly are not anointed by any Godly spirit. And anyone’s position on the sign gifts is irrelevant. All believers receive the Holy Spirit upon salvation …..
1. That's irrelevant, the abuse and errors in the NAR have nothing to do with cessationism versus continuationism. 2. I would agree with Cosi Hinn's explanation - www.forthegospel.org/read/greater-works-will-you-do-than-jesus 3. Yes, I'm a believer. Rev 12:10 - Satan is the accuser, but false teachers usually twist this verse to protect themselves from critique, and in doing so, fulfil their own false interpretation of the verse by accusing others.
Where does the Bible talk about Kundalini spirit? Or did you learn about it from Hindu gurus? I do not believe in wacky charismatic manifestations, but quoting from Hindu gurus is like quoting the Quran against Christians. This is a self own.
. Most of these guys are either completely false or compromised, or have made agreements with the wrong people. But at the same time the people accusing them are just as bad, its just that they proffess nothing so there is nothing to accuse them of. Its interesting that when Vodie Bochum says that we no longer have Apostles because Ephesians 2:19-20 says that the Church was built on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, and by Vodies reasoning a house has only one foundation so Apostles no loger exist....But in the same scripture it says that Christ Himself is the chief cornerstone of that very foundation. Also Jesus Himself is the foundation of our faith and the Church...So because He is called the foundation is He no longer relevent?...Lol...There is a lot of new Testement Scripture instructing Apostles and Prophets as to how to do their jobs, but you wont find one chapter specifically aimed at teaching Pastors anything....Some will say "well scriture instructs Shepherds, and Pastors are Shepherds" again that is their translation not "direct" scriture, but Isaiah and Jeremiah were called "Shepherds" where thay Pastors?
Its easy for the Cessasionist crowd to find examples of errant Charasmatic Leaders because they are very popular and it is easy to find hours of their material online and you can hear what they are teaching, when in contrast most of what the Cessasionists are teaching is just how everyone else is wrong. But the Cessasionist Churches are very dead and in fact most of them use worship songs that came from Pentecostal revivals to "liven things up" because they are so dead. And if you listen to their sermons, most of what they are teaching is what is wrong with other people, other churches, or the evil that is in the world (which is not wrong to teach), but when are they going to reveal Christ in a powerful message that shows jesus to the world in a way that causes them to drop to their knees in repentance, and running to the alters for salvation....When is the last time you saw videos of Vodie Bocham, John MAcarthur, Paul Washer, or Justin Peters leading anyne to Christ, or baptizing anyone? But I can show you hours of Pentecostal revivla baptisms online where people are weeping through their testimonies before being baptized. The Cessasionist Pastors are also very critical of prosperity doctrine teachers as I also am, but their greatest leader among them is John Macarthur, who if you look up his net worth online from many different sources it is somewhere between 14 and 15 million. While at the same time Heidi Baker who has been a source of Cessasionionist critisism has given nearly all she has for the ministry in Mosambique where she has raised hundreds of orphaned children, trained young people from all over the world to minister to poor countries, and has the marks on her body from the attacks they have had from angry Muslims who oppose the Gospel. Currently in Mosambique she is traveling to the villages where Pastors are being killed and kidnapped and the people who did it want to kill her and Rolland her husband...but she wont leave...That doesnt sound very evil or sinister to me, it sounds like a surrendered life. I didnt say she has made all the right choices of friends in the U.S. but she is genuine.
When Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda were doing Church services in Nigeria that at times has 1.8 million people make a decision for Christ in one service, it was American Cessasionist Pastors like Justin Peters who critized the movement because they doctrinally dissagreed with Reinhard and Daniel. And they didn't like what they saw...So why didnt Justin go to Nigeria to start a revival? Because his Gospel doesnt have power and he knows it.
And the truth about the Cessaionist crowd is that their only contribution to the world is identifying anything they see as false or fake, but you wont find many videos of them revealing Christ with anything other than a critical message calling people to repent for their behavior. But where is Christ in their message? where is the genuine conviction of the Holy Spirit? where are their Churches that are alive with the Spirit of God burning in the hearts of the belivers in their Congregations?
God is going to be cleaning house the Church age is ending and the Bride of Christ is rising up, as far as Justin Peters and Vodie Bochum, they have no real power in their life or their message, although Bodie does have some truth I hope God will do something with him...Justin is a very bitter and angry person, I hope God does get ahold of him, I love Paul Washer I hope he will finally speak up because he has seen the power of God in other Countries.
Brother, get out of the basement and taste the goodness of the Lord. So many solid lovers of Jesus and the Word. Yes there is abuse in too many churches but God is moving in a way that offends your brain to reveal the heart.

I praise God to hear this! Thirty years! You two were so strengthened by the Lord to escape. God is amazing!

I wonder how you come clean after being invaded by demonic manifestations? Would like to know details.

Praying was and still is difficult for me. I left WoF/NAR in Dec 2023 and then I was diagnosed with Cancer in Feb 2024.
One of the greatest problems in this movement is the Biblical illiteracy of its followers! Praying for the lost and the blind 🙏 ❤
Amen 😊
Jesus did not pray for the world.

Alice Bailey's plan worked. She wrote that they would use the church to spread a false esoteric gospel and cause people to interpret scripture by personal experience.

They have asked for the mantle and they have received the mantle of deceiption
thank you for covering the topic so well, God bless you and keep you
Thank you for bringing this horrible problem to light
So happy you have started this channel. I have subscribed and liked. Blessings. Carla
Great job brother 🙏🏻
Thank you, it was a very good description of these cults and what they do.
Thanks for the comment Rachel, I'm aware of the extremes on both sides.
Thank You for this great video.
This video is way too long for my attention span. I tried. I'm under the impression that NAR is a bad cult. Am I right?
Some would label it a cult, but the bottom line is the NAR needs to be marked and avoided.

The Passion "translation"
Is not even considered a biblical manuscript because the margin of error from the original text is too great, say biblical scholars.

I appreciate anything you can share with me 🙂
God bless you brother and thank you again for making these videos.

Hi. Please could you advise of a good word based church in cpt. Tableview area.
This Sheperding Movement was pretty much like this, Derek Prince who was part of it, eventually denounced and exposed it
I was a part of that some 40 years ago.
The NAR is much more insidious and has much greater reach and impact
And Prince’s misunderstanding regarding of demons and curses render his ‘wisdom’ as beyond flawed

Is there a greater miracle than a dead soul coming back to life ?? No, there is not. We cannot do miracles greater than Jesus. Only in number …
They are similar to the super Apostles Paul dealt with.
What Scripture do they pervert to support this idea that Believers need them to be a "spiritual covering"?
The NCMI of South Africa which started in JHB in the early 80's with a number of church leaders
It's not cult-like. It is a cult.
Hey, spot the South African accent!! 😄
Greetings brother.
The error of Hierarchy
What is your denomination?
@deborahthorp758
Can you give the scripture in the Bible where the word, 'denomination' is written in the scriptures? ... this word is not in the Bible..
I also want to know.
AMEN
also, THe Holy Spirit will always testify of Jesus, He will not cause weird super-natural activities that have nothing to do with our LORD
Can you do a video on Joseph prince hypergrace teaching. Rhema church supports this guy
Prince is legit, Godly Paul Cain called him out as a teen..👌

So then read the novel “Where Do We Go Now, LORD? - Burke.” Explains much. Very much. Enjoy!
Excellent teaching, well done.
Yeah, King Jesus said, in Mark 16;
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
Matthew 28, 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
And he also talked about the era of false prophets in Matt 24. That's where we are now.
@@blindvision4703 That's a difficult situation. Just keep on with those online resources.
You need to investigate- Church of God Restoration and their chief apostle Ray Tinsman.
I was mentally abused by the NAR. I finally got out
It is a damaging movement, glad to hear God saved you out of that abusive environment.
Are you a new RUclips channel? You only have one video.
They are all cults....not "cult like" or "cult lite".
11:15 - and Jesus breathed on him (Brian Simmons)
The same way Jesus did his disciples to commission them to write scripture so Simmons can write the Passion Transalation.
What did his breath smell like Simmons?
Fish?
Vanilla ice tea?
Bourbon?
Candy?
Jesus said greaterr than these you will do ! or dident HE! Never mind just keep on GOSSIPING!!!
No such movement but Jesus did die so sinners can become born again. Can we simply be about the Fathers business and preach the gospel?
Oh no.
This movement certainly exists. Dr. Michael Browns protestations not withstanding..
Chris Rosebrough, Steven Kozar (The Messed Up Church), Justin Peters and others have many videos regarding this perversion of the Christian faith.
Also, they do NOT preach the gospel.
They preach a different Jesus
Seems a lot are forgetting what Jesus did for us.
It’s called “holy laughter”! 😂😊
Unholy laughter more like it 😢
What are you talking about, cult-like? They are cult in all possible descriptions. They come to their 'worship' gathering to first of all to receive. Second, they worship their guru that tell them tells and stories about themselves. Jesus is just a necessary person to validate that they preach a 'gospel'.
I understand, but please read - www.hollypivec.com/blog/2013/07/is-the-new-apostolic-reformation-movement-a-cult/3612
I don’t understand how people get caught up in the cult of Calvinism. I don’t get it.
Falling out in the spirit where you can’t getup for hours, is an amazing experience and you feel like the Spirit of God is all over you. Tried getting up and couldn’t, was like my arms were fastened down.
no edification. only time in bible is when Judas came to betray Jesus and that does not look too good.
It wasn’t falling out in Gods spirit. It was satan’s work. Hindus, Buddhists , and other cults do the same. Too many so called churches nowadays rely on feelings not what the Bible teaches. The Bible is enough . The PERFECT WORD OF GOD
Sorry but that wasn’t God.
No, that is definitely not of God.
That story means nothing. It's not in the Bible at all.
I have wondered about kundalini, have been in services of gold manifesting too. Seemed so real and from God.
Same here
But, but, what if there isn't a Bible believing church in your town? The pentecostal church we go to is the best of a questionable lot.
I have slowly evolved from a charismatic cult to a non-denominational church not to Reformed Theology.
I now understand my faith and can defend it using scripture. I have no fear of the difficult times that lie ahead
@@ThegospelofNarc’THE’ Holy Spirit.
Not using an article is a hallmark of the NAR and their followers
@@toolegittoquit_001 interesting, thanks for sharing- I don't know much about NAR but I appreciate all of the great info on this video-
A few questions..brother.
1 So are you of the cessationist doctrine?
2) what does John 14.12 mean to you?
3) Do you operate in the power of the holy spirit?
Do you have any understanding around the 'Accuser of the breathrin' ?
1) I am
2) yes... our INTERPRET may differ
3) yes... and ??
Those he speaks of are NOT our brothers. They preach a different Christ than is revealed in the Bible.
So we aren’t ‘touching God’s anointed’ because they aren’t from God and most certainly are not anointed by any Godly spirit.
And anyone’s position on the sign gifts is irrelevant. All believers receive the Holy Spirit upon salvation …..
What does 3 even mean? All believers have the Spirit. That’s how they’re believers in the first place.
1. That's irrelevant, the abuse and errors in the NAR have nothing to do with cessationism versus continuationism.
2. I would agree with Cosi Hinn's explanation - www.forthegospel.org/read/greater-works-will-you-do-than-jesus
3. Yes, I'm a believer.
Rev 12:10 - Satan is the accuser, but false teachers usually twist this verse to protect themselves from critique, and in doing so, fulfil their own false interpretation of the verse by accusing others.
When you fall for things without evidence, you might as well go whole hog and wallow in it.
The miracle-invokers fail 100% of the time. Don't believe me? Can you find a single RUclips video that disproves that? Me either.
I USE GO TO A PENTECOSTAL CHURCH LONG TIME AGO 1997 WHEN I WAS SAVED
