Great video bro .... Plenty of old school dinosaurs IT400F ,RM's , TT500 , just to mention a few of them , ..no fancy inverted suspension on these old school bones shakers.. I challenge any young whipper snapper to jump onboard any of these beasts & ride it the same way they ride their new model bikes .. They Buck like a Rodeo Bull. & starting them up was a test for many as the compression kickback could throw an adult over the Bars or break a persons foot .... ahhhh many fond memories of the days before the safety rider equipment of today's world wasn't so advanced I still Carry the scar's lol .
Great video mate. I was shocked it was Straila. My 1st bike. SUZUKI 1984 PE 175. At 16 in 86. Current bike 2003 KTM525EXC. Owned since new. The PE was on the cusp of really good long travel suspension and ergo's. The FULL FLOATER rear suspension was really good. But the KTM is amazing and still holds up against new bikes. The major things haven't changed much in the last 25years really. I've got moto and more content. KEEP IT REAL ON THE BACK WHEEL 🤙
Haha, and I didn't realize that you were not referring to the USA. Either way, it was a great time to be young and on a dirt bike. I had 74 and 76 Elsinore 125s, 78 RM 125 and a 78 CR250R. I sure miss the Red Rocket...
@billfoster213 that's awesome Bill, you should get it converted to mp4 and post it. Nice to hear about your bikes from the Golden era. It sure was a lot of fun hey!

Motors have changed but the power they had enough. It was just the suspension
And ergo's. Check out the laid back handle bars. Soo cool!
I would add brakes.
What State is this in? Too many Marysville towns, CA, WA, Ohio, I used to race Marysville CA in the 70s. Good memories of the 70s...😊
Victoria Australia actually. I didn't realise there was that many!🇦🇺

We still have Super 8 film of the 1974 Hangtown race and a bunch of photos from Sears Point TRANS AMA from 1976.
