I had a different experience. Last year I went to the US Embassy when I renewed my passport. When I got to the US Embassy there were so many people outside waiting however I went inside right away because I had an appointment early in the morning. I had to leave my phone and Apple watch with the guard. It was very quick and went to the window where a Filipina employee took my passport then gave it back to me after. I went to pay the fees at another window. Then went to give my address and infos to the courier service. I got my new passport in less than 3 weeks. It was really quick and easy for me.

It would be beneficial for the government to watch your video, listen to your concerns, and streamline the process of obtaining an ACR for foreigners.

This is very different from our experience renewing our passports in the US Embasssy in Manila. There is an option to renew by mail or in person and we opted to do the latter. We just scheduled our appointment and brought our stuff with us. From the time we got there we probably waited for an hour and called to head up to the second floor. Gave our papers at the proper window, paid and got the passports in 2-3 weeks. It was delivered at our house with no issues. Renewing went quicker than when we got our first passports in WA State to be honest. We had to wait a month for that if I remember correctly.
Maybe your video would serve as an eye opener to the Philippine Government - especially the Bureau of Immigration office - need to improve processes on their websites and at their offices.
Actually if you go2 the malls it’s pretty quick. The BI head office in Intramuros is where you have to wait longer.

always best to go early to gov't offices so when there's a snag there's some time to try to fix it esp if you're on a deadline
For US visa we also need to
Fill up an online form and send it to the embassy. But I remember there was a list of LBC branches that are authorized to do the transaction. I didn’t have it shipped to me I chose to pick it up at the Lbc branch.
Anyway there are new rules to PH nowadays for tourist now.

Isaac sorry that you had to go through all that. The BI head office is always a a pain in the butt. I’m so glad I don’t have to do all that anymore. I just applied for a dual citizenship now I don’t have to spend all that visa renewals.

@@Haydra1898 If your serious, some suggested Good Nursing Schools namely: Capitol Nursing School (just a jeep ride from your Condo at SM City), Fatima (little bit far Valenzuela), UST (Manila jeep ride also fr. your Condo) & UE Recto, Manila also.

I did it online, then you print all of the documents and such and find a approved shipping location (I used Robinsons Galleria LBC but there is more)

The the Philippine government, less paper the better. Innovate. Improve and become more efficient, especially when dealing with foreigners who aren't used to the sub par "Filipino treatment"

I am an American of Filipino descent. When my US passport was about to expire (6 months before my trip to the Philippines in November- December of this year 2024) I paid just about what you paid and more that’s without the shipping fees to Texas…
So many miscellaneous fees that only them (immigration) can understand.🤔🤨😏
