I live in Canada... on a tiny Island Province and have none of these stores and I watch them all and Trader Joe's hauls.

I love Sprouts! They have lots of allergen-friendly options throughout the store and I love that they donate all produce and so on that is not selling or is nearing its expiration date so the food does not go to waste.
I have never eaten any of the pre-made options, but it is rather sad that Sprouts was such a bust for you and Matt! 😕 Maybe a bad day for the cook/s? At the Sprouts in Marlton, NJ I always see people buying and even eating the pre-made options in the little seated area.

Aldi for the prices and that my kids love their foods and snacks. And I love that there is no artificial dyes in the kids my kids get there. They use vegetables for the dyes. Now with sprouts. I would recommend trying their rosemary shrimp. My go to are those garlic green beans and the shrimp. So good. Their Cajun shrimp is also good but spicy.

I've never bought anything from the hot bar at Sprouts. Trader Joe's was our go to until we moved and there was a sprouts closer. Now sprouts is our go to. I definitely want a part two!! Love your taste testing videos!!
No sprouts market near me… no Whole Foods, Costco or Trader Joe’s either… so most of your videos have no relevance for me… yet I watch them because I love your personality and as someone who has recently (2 years ago… it just seems like yesterday) lost a loved one don’t ever apologize for grieving for them or for how long you grieve… we do have a Walmart, wegmans, sams club and aldi…

I'm back with snacks!!! Matt is feeling better but this is just the beginning of a long surgery journey. I will keep everyone updated as he moves through this but I think you might see him more in videos because he is taking time off of work to handle all of these issues!

In L.A., I loved the Brussels sprouts at The Velvet Turtle -- sauteed in garlic butter. Melted in your mouth.
your brussels point was so true same goes with asparagus 🙅🏻♀️ when both are done wrong they’re so bitter and nasty but when done right they’re soooo good

Love your videos. Ive worked at sprouts for 6 years, specifically the deli where you are tasting all of this food. And I agree with all of what you said. I make the Brussels and green beans and sweet potatoes, all waaay better when they first come out the oven. Once they sit, too mushy, too much seasoning. Mac is great, and all the chicken feels the same texture. Not the best. But if you air fried half of that until crispy it MIGHT be better 😅 the price tag sometimes does NOT justify the quality. But definitely part TWO-TRY A SANDWICH. I know it's not a hot bar, but if you go to a good location, they're damn good! I should know, I make great sandwiches ❣️

When we lived in NC (near Fort Bragg-now Liberty area) I loved Food Lion! It was my go to and I miss it!
There is a Food Lion within walking distance from my house in NC and my mom would go there almost daily!!

My favourite thing to eat ever pulled pork. But I do only eat out of the box KD ( Kraft dinner) if your not from Canada anyway. That was my childhood go to. But once I was older and I had a pulled pork sandwich for the first time that was just it for me. But now I only ask my dad to make it on my birthday because it’s so much work.

favorite grocery store is undoubtedly Wegmans!!! amazing produce, best hot foods bar, delicious bakery, pizza and sub shop in store, etc. I also love Publix and Harris Teeter!!

I don't have a Sprouts near me but I have a Common Market and a Mom's (similar co/op organic vibes) and love trying different premade vegan and/gluten free treats to find yummy hidden gems.

We don't have a Sprouts near us, but a local grocery store in my area has some really great sushi. Which is soooo strange to say! HAHA

@@ErinRobinson I have sprouts. I'm low carb. But I did splurge on the mashed potatoes...meh, lol. Loaded them with butter and salt and made them better. I was very intrigued with your meatball taste test. Have to invest in Raos. That makes everything that is dry BETTER 😃🥰 again, appreciate your review so we don't have to. 💃

I’m from the east coast so we don’t have sprouts lol but I love a Wegmans. They have the best bakery stuff ❤
The green beans are great cold; personally i prefer them that way (i love the cronch!). I've literally just gotten a thing of them and had just them for my lunch before. BUT they're also great with the citrus marinated shrimp (also cold! And eat the tails!).
Next time try some of the complete meals; the pesto rosso with the greek potatoes is great, but cut everything up and toss it all together to get a complete perfect bite. Also the shrimp with the couscous, and there's a yummy salmon with green beans, mashed potatoes, and i think a bearnaise sauce? But personally i never eat the bearnaise sauce that's included because even if i take lactaid and only have a tiny bit it'll screw me up. The penne with pesto is good too.
Also there's some yummy snack boxes and tuna and chicken salads; the traditional chicken salad is my favorite, but the honey walnut chicken salad is tasty if you enjoy a sweeter chicken salad.
The rotisserie chickens come in a few different seasonings; they sometimes put them on sale 2 for 16; when you grab them out of the stay-hot area place them into a bag from either the meat or bulk area, NOT a produce bag. The bag will protect your car from any leaky juices in the bag the chicken is sold in; but the produce bags are thinner and more likely to tear. The chickens reheat from cold ridiculously well in an instant pot or crockpot especially if you place one on top (breast-side down!) of some potatoes carrots celery and either onions or leeks, with a little broth and some fresh herbs from the produce area. The fat from the chicken will render down into the broth and on top of the potatoes and veggies and they'll have a nice rich flavor to them.
Also try the cookies from the bakery section; they're baked on-site. I've blind taste-tested the vegan and regular versions of the chocolate chip cookies against each other with customers; the flavor is almost exactly the same, but customers typically liked the vegan ones better for texture reasons. There's a salted caramel and chocolate chip, an ube white chocolate, and a chocolate cookie with peanut butter chips, that are all tasty. They also have some awesome seasonal cookies; during the summer they have a peach oatmeal cookie that is absolutely to die for. I'm typically a chocolate fiend, but the peach cookie? Literally one of my favorite cookies period.

Also, I do want to say...Sprouts chocolate chip cookies are SUPERIOR. I don't like grocery store chocolate chip cookies and those...blew my mind!1
“Grainy” mashed potatoes usually indicates it’s starchy.
I know you’re not a cooking channel by any means but their prepackaged dinners that you cook like the chimichurri steak are so good!

@@ErinRobinson one store by me it’s in the coffin fridge below the meat counter and the other it’s near the deli/prepared. It’s like one pan meals with cooking instructions. :)

for sauces it depends on what kind of sauce it is! tomato sauce i dont like much so definitely not over sauced.. but if its a garlic cream sauce or a cheesy sauce.. then yes please oversauce!

Lol Erin, you say it's hard to find a good Mac and cheese. I just judged a Mac & cheese festival a few weeks ago and it was so hard to decide on a winner, at least among the ones that look like childhood. And when it's too creative, it feels like a different thing.

Trader Joes is by far the best grocery store
I used to love Sprouts, until I had my groceries delivered from them and there was mold right on top of two packages of egg bites. I haven’t been able to order from them since then. 😕
