I’ve been an ethical vegan and organic-only WFPB eater forever, and I am also low income. I can’t afford as much variety as I otherwise would like, but I still eat well. I split my purchases between 4 different places (natural foods coop, Trader Joe’s, Fred Meyer and Grocery Outlet) and it works out great. 🌱✌️
@@dj-fe4ckit kinda is..but you don't have to do a variety in like one single meal.. or even a day's worth of meal... But rotating things every week is better
Costco is certainly my place for frozen fruit. Sprouts does carry frozen passionfruit which is a must for me in my smoothies. I love Sprouts. Keep up with the shopping haul videos. Ideas such as buying the big bags of kale and freezing it are so helpful. I wouldn't have thought to do that. If you can connect what you purchase and how you use it that would be super helpful. Have the shopping haul video and then a corresponding what I made with everything video would be awesome!!!
I have been vegetarian for over 40 years and feel healthy and still go surfing many days a week. I am trying to get more WFPB/vegan as well. Just out of curiosity would you ever share your monthly food budget for a family of four. Also share your monthly budget for supplements? Thanks for sharing all that you do.
I find that Kroger and their family stores are really stepping up their game in vegan and organic products. They're also a lot cheaper than other stores too.
I usually never comment on videos but I love this video and the costco one! They're super helpful for a mom like me with 2 kiddos and another one on the way too. Would love to see a wholefoods grocery store video as well as well as any other grocery video ideas you guys might have.
I love the idea of a homemade pizza video! Also what the other comments said of a grocery haul video and then posting a what i ate this week with the items you buy as I am newly WFPB and struggle with meal ideas and variety ❤ New Subscriber love this channel 🌻
Sprouts also does quarterly 20% off supplements and body care sales if you are signed up as a member (it’s free). They also often send me $10 off $75 coupons if I spend enough on previous shopping trips so I find it most cost effective to load up during those times opposed to doing smaller frequent trips.
Wow! I was not aware of this store, because of you guy’s I google it and found out there is one store 35 minutes from our house, so I am definitely going check it out now. Looks good! Thank you!
I love Sprouts. Their own label of coconut water is one of my favorites and they even have a litre version in a glass bottle. I definitely appreciate that option. They’re also one of the only grocery chains in SWFL where you can regularly find a jackfruit 😋
I’m so glad you have a Sprouts near you now. I own an organic juice bar in Longmont, CO, and Sprouts is my go-to store for our less than case quantity produce needs.
Loving your grocery store haul videos...the kids are growing up so healthy and beautiful ..just like mom and dad and the next baby will be just as precious 💜😊

I totally appreciate the spirit of these videos given the state of farming in this country. But I'm wondering... do you have any organic farms in your area? I am blessed to have a number of them around me, so doing WFPB vegan is pretty easy for me. Thank you for showing people the options! Big love!
I love sprouts! (I’m in south Florida) mine had a Japanese yam recently but very little stock. They always have so many fruits and vegetables, and highlight ones in season! Would love to see more grocery hauls here 😊
I love you guys going to differnt stores and showing variety I primarily shop at Winco and Safeway . Sprouts has waaaayyyy to much vegan junk food temptations lol ❤

smackdown! you shop all of the same stores we shop, and I have noticed that we are going to whole foods less and less and when we do go we buy less stuff. So yes I would love to see a smackdown between the stores! Thank you for the video-
If you have an Aldi in your area that is a real money saver too even on organic and plant based items. Just take a quarter for the cart and your own bags
I miss the Sprouts bulk items so much. I need to write to corporate and ask them to come to Illinois! And agreed, they need to stock some Japanese sweet potatoes. Thank you for this video and thanks Dusty to making it all happen 🙂
I have a Sprouts very close to me, they do carry Japanese sweet potatoes but not all the time so check again next time 😊 Love the food hauls! And yes, I'd love to see a pizza video! Have a great weekend guys!
I love sprouts. It's a few minutes from my house. Hu chocolate it's always on sale at sprouts. I was so excited to hear that My daughter is learning about Plant-Based in college at UC Berkeley of Ca. and she has to go on Plant-Based for three days and write about it.
Ahhh I wish they were in Western MA! The closest Wholefoods is over 30 min from us, and trader joes is even further. Hopefully more good quality markets make there way to our area!
I love this. I think it's so strange that they originally would not let you film. Stores are considered to be public spaces. But I guess it is still a privately owned business and they can refuse business to anyone. But what a strange rule!
In South Africa (Dusty I see the South African flag among your flags on your jersey, second top from left. Looking at it) you are generally not allowed to film or take pictures in most stores or malls. They have signs up, I think common is no guns, helmets, pets (excluding service dogs), skate boards or roller blades. But yes I thought it wouldn't be allowed to begin with. Nice to learn how other people live and do things.
I think it’s bc there are so many people that can be disruptive (think TikTok dancing/pranking) and filming unsuspecting strangers and posting it online that businesses have started to crack down. Obviously, Erin and Dusty are respectful and just want to inform without disrespecting. 😊
Sprouts looks amazing, here in France organic produces are really sad in winter especially... So we are more WFPB than organic WFPB saddly. I try to buy organic when possible but as a high fruit raw vegan, I can't stay with what's offered in our country in winter 😅 Thanks for the video as always ❤

But raised beds are good too. I fill the bottom half of the pots with yard leaves and grass clippings, which composts while the top half with good soil is busy producing food. I plant potatoes (organic store bought) after they have sprouted). The potatoes get planted in the large pots and they produce very well. Organic potatoes are not sprayed with sprouting inhibitor and so they tend to sprout fast. If you can find bags of small red potatoes at the store, I think those are better than chitting larger ones because they are less prone to rotting underground on the cut side.

To avoid pesticides, herbicides, GMOs and other unnecessary toxins that can harm your health-especially small children!
