@jonatherton he has a piezo pickup fitted to the guitar which simulates an acoustic sound that you can turn on and off with a switch on the guitar. The studio version is a real acoustic though. You can see him switch it off on the guitar right before the first chorus.
I was born in the 60s very lucky listening to John Peel so heard some amazing interesting bands. But.. thev90s 😮😮was largely pants but Suprergrass a great band. Hats off😎

when you look back over the years, it becomes clear: this is one of the best songs ever written.
And the best british band of the 90s. Better than Oasis. But so underrated. The school of The Beatles and The Who in the 90s
