BIGGEST thing about the 13 second game that gets overlooked to keep it exciting, is the fact that Allen turned the ball over on downs 4 times against a mid-pack Chiefs Defense... While Mahomes only turned it over twice against the number 1 ranked defense, and Butker left 4 points on the field or there would have been no need for the 13 second drive or OT... BUT at least the better team and QB still won the game, so leaving it out keeps the best game narrative going... Allen still hasn't beaten Mahomes in the playoffs, even with home field advantage, so Mahomes is still top QB... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats and facts...

I think you do need to put a little more emphasis on the regular season wins for Buffalo vs. the much more important playoff wins for Kansas City. It's gotten to the point where these regular season wins for Buffalo don't mean anything because they are always losing the playoff games, and that loss last year was really damaging to this rivalry. Bengals and Chiefs are more of a rivalry than Bills and Chiefs at this point.

The only thing is One QB lost WR1 and 2 during the season. Lost RB1 and had to pick up a guy off the couch ....the Offensive Tackles are terrible. And he still the #1 seed. Last year his receivers had the most drops ever! He still won the Superbowl. There are levels to QB play and it not just about physical ability! Mahomes is like Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods. If you beat him at checkers or ping pong, you will be up all night until he figures you out and he dominates you when all the money on the line.

Patrick Mahomes claims the game was stolen from them because of the call, but would it have been fair not to call it a penalty and steal it away from the bills when it was clearly lined up in the neutral zone. MAYBE you could say that if the Chiefs had wiped the floor with the Bills, but that's just not reality. Those most recent two playoff games were down to the last seconds and easily could have swung in favor of the Bills. They had very realistic chances of winning both of those games. So yes, for how competitive the Bills v Chiefs playoff games have been in addition to the Bills typically beating them in the regular season, I think it's fair to consider it a rivalry.

Chiefs best DB in their suspect secondary got hurt and never returned. Neither one of them turned the ball over, but the Bills had 4 failed drives, punted four times and the Chiefs only punted twice.

But I'm also a fan of true talent, and brother, these two quarterbacks are among some of the greatest talents to ever grace the game of football, and I would take either one of them at the helm of my team. I'm happy to have Mahomes lead my team, but don't get it twisted, games between these two could go either direction when both teams are at 100%. Mahomes does have the edge in the argument for playoff wins, but at that point, the coaches are just hoping the other team has a player that makes a mistake.

The only thing is One QB lost WR1 and 2 during the season. Lost RB1 and had to pick up a guy off the couch ....the Offensive Tackles are terrible. And he still the #1 seed. Last year his receivers had the most drops ever! He still won the Superbowl. There are levels to QB play and it not just about physical ability! Mahomes is like Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods. If you beat him at checkers or ping pong, you will be up all night until he figures you out and he dominates you when all the money on the line.

Those most recent two playoff games were down to the last seconds and easily could have swung in favor of the Bills. They had very realistic chances of winning both of those games. So yes, for how competitive the Bills v Chiefs playoff games have been in addition to the Bills typically beating them in the regular season, I think it's fair to consider it a rivalry.
