Great video as always. You always seem to have fun no matter where you are. What a lovely site with all the animals. Looks great. Thanks for posting 😊 looking forward to the next one ❤
Hi Mac and Sarah , just came across your channel and i love your videos and stories , especially with Dozer , we got our caravan mainly for ours doggies as we thought it'll be cheaper and easier then hotels what we used to do , to find places that except dogs was difficult so thats why we got the caravan amd we love it especially ours girls , we have a Samoyed Misha who is 12 and half and a Siberian Husky Lara who is 6 and half, Finding your Videos really interesting so thank you for these 😊 x
Hey Joby! Oh my goodness, same here! It's lovely isn't it? That familiar sound coming down the road when we were kids!! Such great memories ❤️ thanks for watching
Hi Mac and Sarah. Your vlogs are so wonderful and inspiring. We have been shielding for 4.6 years due to my blood cancer. But your vlogs have given us the inspiration to take our caravan to France next month, Of course we will have to mask and remain socially distanced, but it will be a welcome change of scenery. I look forward to your next vlog.
Hey Jackie! We're so happy to hear you have a trip planned! We would love to take our van to France at some point. Have a wonderful time and thanks so much for watching. Sending you all our best wishes Mac & Sarah
Hi guys your videos are so informative and great love knowing about all the lovely sites in and around your area.i think it's time for the wife and i to get our 1st caravan. Thanks
Hi Mac and Sarah. What a lovely little site it appears to be and so glad you all had a wonderful weekend there. We live in Cheshire but I don’t know of any sites like that near us. ❤ Amanda and Paul.
This is a fantastic site, been using it for fifteen years many great memories. We are booked in to stay in September which will probably be the last time as the owners are changing the site to static units. Great for local walks and the train station means park the car and forget it
Hey thanks for watching! Oh my goodness really? We didn't know that, we'd heard they were trying to sell it but must have been misinformed. So glad you've enjoyed lots of great trips there, we also had a lovely time. Thanks again, all the best 👍
Hi guys, glad you liked Fairfield. It's our local site, only 10min walk from home and we store our caravan there. Good insight in the village and castle. Stay safe and safe travels
Hey Mac and Sarah, we love the blogs, the goats are cheeky 😅, but mr Pig 👍 quick question, how old is Dozer? We have a black Lab, Nelson, he’s almost 10. Happy caravaning guys, and keep up the fabulous information 😊
Hi Tony, thanks for watching 👍 aw all the animals were great but especially Mr Piggy 😊 Dozer is 15, and old boy now but still going strong! Give Nelson a big hug from us 🤗
Thanks for watching 👍 yes prices seem to be high in some places. When we're only staying a couple of nights we don't mind too much. We certainly enjoyed this site
Lovely, informative video, thanks for sharing. I have to say, I refuse to go on a site where I have to pay for our (3) dogs, but I admit it does look a very nice site. Can I ask what recliner chairs you have? They look very similar to some we bought when we had our first caravan but they are just too heavy (they live on our shed now 🙄). Love seeing Dozer but I always feel sad that he is an old gentleman now but I love how much you care for him. ❤️🐾
Hi Irene, thanks for watching 👍 Yes, I guess when dogs cost extra, 3 can add up to quite a bit!!! Oh our recliners are old now and also too heavy really, we don't always take them, unless we have room in the car.. Dozer is doing so well bless him ❤️ thanks xxx
Hi Mac and Sarah, new subscriber to the channel, loved going in the caravan as a child and hoping to do it more as an adult! 1 question though, why do people use the shower blocks and washing areas when they have those facilities in the caravan? Loving the channel!!
Hi, thanks for watching and subscribing, we really appreciate it. That's a great question actually... Some people do only use the showers in their caravans but lots use on site facilities. The main issue I guess being water. Most pitches are not serviced, meaning they may have electric but not water supply, so using an aquaroll is required. These hold 40 liters so to use them for showers might use up a lot meaning more frequent refilling... That's our theory anyway 🙂
Hi love your vlogs, this site is just 10 minutes from us and would be perfect to take the Grandchild too but like the earlier comment sadly find it hard to believe it’s adults only 🤔
Hi Mick, yes it's a shame isn't it? We had a long talk with the warden about it because it used to be a family sot. However, it seems that unfortunately a small minority of children that stayed there in the past were a bit of an issue and long story short, they decided to make it adults only fairly recently. Thanks for watching, really appreciate it 👍
Not one of our favourite sites you've been to. We love to see and feed animals but found it strange that it's adults only when there's animals you can feed. We think you can get sites with nicer pitches for £38 pn. We are going to one of your recommendations, Back of Beyond in the New Year. 😊
Hi Claire, thanks for watching 👍 yes we totally understand that, it used to be a family site but they changed it recently. Oh you'll love Back of Beyond, we're there for a couple of nights in October, really looking forward to it. thanks again, all the best ❤️
@MacSarah We're off to Woodlands Wells Somerset. It's an adult only CL site and immaculate. It is more expensive than the average CL @ £30 per night but as I said its immaculate. 😊
Going through prestwick at the weekend with the van on the back on way to the cvan site an idiot started clapping because i didnt jump a red light and he had to walk round it to get across the road am not going thru a red light and getting a fine as you dont know whose watching you what a plonker as del boy says lol
Found it strange for adult only site with animal feeding. Also with being Vegan it’s not really my cup of tea, as most farmers don’t have animals as pets and the thought of what happens to them isn’t worth thinking about ☹️
This is a gorgeous and relaxing video and a grand overview of your weekend. From beginning to end, it oozed your engaging charm and personalities. Loved to see Dozer licking the ice cream tubs dry. As for the site itself. It was unimpressive in so many of the key criteria we personally crave in a site. I personally think it was slightly overpriced. As a Yorkshireman, I'm like a Scotsman with the generosity beaten out of me, and so my first question was - "ow much?". 😂😂 🫣 Grass pitches are a total no no and unless my eyes deceived me, it looked like everybody was on top of you. As you said, the shower block looked a bit tired and in need of update. Not the sort of site we would rush to stay at. However, on a positive note, the dog walk and exercise field were exceptional and the shop looked well stocked. It reminded me very much of one of the worst sites we have stayed on so far. I know our opinions are subjective and not matched necessarily by your actual experience, but it's unlikely we would ever stay there on a planned South Coast odyssey. Sorry on this occasion both. Graham and Pam x
Hi Graham & Pam, thanks as always for watching, we appreciate your support 🙏 We honestly agree with you about some of the key elements of the site. Somehow the vibe made up for it, which is something hard to put a finger on. Dozer certainly had a lovely time 🙂 We're finding varying prices at sites at the moment as we look for more unusual places. I do wonder if the price of energy has a part to play? Providing electric hook up now must cost sites much more than it did before. Thanks again and all the very best Mac, Sarah & Dozer
@@MacSarah Agree with you about vibe. It's that quintessential element to any stay that few people critique. It's akin to adding umami to your cooking to elevate the overall effect on your palate. We have seen several sites increasingly less busy during the week and even at weekends. Recently Chatsworth had vacancy in July on a weekend when 12 months earlier you couldn't get near it. We think a combo of higher prices, post COVID rebound on foreign travel and a domestic caravan and motorhome market in decline is to blame. So glad Dozer continues to enjoy it. Bless him. ♥️
We love watching your videos, we especially love to see Dozer, he's gorgeous x
Ah thanks so much Linda ❤️
Excellent video as always ! 👏👏👏👏
Thanks very much Graeme 👍
Hi mac and sahra I love watching your vlogs looking forward to watching the next one X
Hi Steffanie, thanks so much, we really appreciate it ❤️
Our favourite place. So peaceful and friendly and my wife’s memory bench outside the facilities block too
Hey Steve!! So glad you love the site too! Aww that's so lovely, we sat on the bench too ❤️

Hi Lyn, thanks for watching! I do sometimes like to wear sunnies rather than squint at the camera lol but appreciate the tip x
Great video as always. You always seem to have fun no matter where you are. What a lovely site with all the animals. Looks great. Thanks for posting 😊 looking forward to the next one ❤
Hey Damalza, thanks so much for watching 👍 we're lucky to stay at some many lovely sites 😊

Oh absolutely ❤️ brings back such memories doesn't it? Thanks so much for watching 👍
What a lovely site. Glad you both had a great short break, and all those animals.😀x
Thanks for watching Richard! Yes it was a lovely little break and the animals really made it 🙂

Hi Stephan, thank you so much, we're so happy you enjoy the videos. Oh yessss go buy a caravan, you won't regret it 👍
Hi Mac and Sarah. What a lovely little site it appears to be and so glad you all had a wonderful weekend there. We live in Cheshire but I don’t know of any sites like that near us. ❤ Amanda and Paul.
Hey Amanda & Paul, we have found some lovely sites recently, but would love to venture further afield too. Thanks for watching 👍
Check out the M&S Marksoligist cocktails, Sainsbury’s also sell Nohrlund espresso martini bottles👍
Oooh yes we will, thanks for the tips 👍😋

@@MacSarahdid you notice it's adult only now, glad you liked it and the chippy down the road ain't to bad if you ever stay again 😋

Fabulous vlog, I'm just back from Wales. The site you were on looked such a relaxing site.
Loved the 🐖 🐷
Hey Karen! Hope you had a fab time in Wales!! Ooh the piggie was so gorgeous! What a cutie!!! Thanks for watching 👍
£38 a night, worlds gone mad , looking at the price list I’m amazed they don’t charge extra for air 😂. Great vlog, keep up the good work 🎉
Thanks for watching 👍 yes prices seem to be high in some places. When we're only staying a couple of nights we don't mind too much. We certainly enjoyed this site
