We bought a towing cover from Specialised. The zip started to come apart after the second trip. We contact Specialised who paid for the return, took the zip out and fitted a new one and returned it before we went away again. Everything is perfect and we wouldn't be without it. First class investment from a top notch company.
Ah good to hear they resolved it well. Sometimes things happen, it's always in how it's resolved. Ours arrived yesterday so keen to get it on and used when we go away next.

Love the shower covers to walk back in, but we brought Shen seat covers for our van absolutely brilliant and cheap but hard wearing. Definitely work a look guys 😊

Hello Mac & Sarah , I got so excited when I saw the drying coat I thought there was a D for Dozer until you said 😂 , how lovely of them to gift those things to you Dozer is so adorable.
You chose some really practical things , really brilliant choices and love Sarah’s bag and the big hanging bag , they look so well made .
Cant wait to see the seat covers , I’ve tried ones from Shein but very thin and fleece throws just get untidy , about great video we really enjoyed it , shame you don’t do one a day 😂xx

Every time I watch any video of you guys showing doggy or camping or cooking equipment, my hubby gets anxious because he knows the shopping will start soon 😂

So bit the bullet and bought a 2BF changing robe. As you say, nothing worse than putting clammy clothes on after a shower. We also bought those stools 😁

Looks like you have given the wallet a good battering 😅, lovely items though, we have a specialised towing cover for our Alpine 4 dealer special really worth the money 😊 and easy to fit, one other thing we purchased was awning rail tape to help reduce black marks down the side of the van.

We bought 2 of the dog drying bags a couple of years ago. They are brilliant my dogs love curly up in them when they’ve been for muddy walk great product ❤

Thanks for the video, sorry to hear that Dozer wasn’t so good. Like you I’m waiting on a cover from specialised that’s also in the sewing room, but I was disappointed by the amount of general accessories available (unless I wasn’t looking properly 😮) because we are starting out and waiting on a new caravan we needed lots! So we spent a fortune in Cannock Caravan Accessories on Sunday, and can highly recommend them (particularly Michelle) to anyone close enough to visit, although they do deliver!

Nice haul there. I think the jury is still out on you levelling up your game on those robes. Usually see motorhomers wearing Dry Robes on site 🥴
The truth is, I do like them, I just can’t see myself wearing them 😮

The toiletry bag cracked me up, my immediate thoughts went to the wife and I when camping....
Wife:- lotion for this, lotion for that, lotion to apply the lotion, lotion to remove the lotion, paste for smoothing, paste for hiding, cream for this, cream for that, brushes for eyes, brushes for cheeks, sponges and sponges, etc, etc, etc.
Me:- Bar of soap.
The stretch stools are a wonder of the modern world, we have had them for a couple of years from a different brand, they are a godsend, my father loved nature and liked to get out and about on his motorcycle, he would pop one in his pannier or top-box and take his camera, dad suffered a bit in his last years, heart attack, peripheral vascular disease, cardiovascular disease and cancer to name a few, the weight and format of the stools were ideal for him, not too heavy and easy to carry, he could stop and rest where ever he wanted and got to know a few people in remote villages that he stumbled upon whilst riding.

Lovely video. We had to smile when Sarah got into a proper wrestle with her new Thule bag. Thule won on a technical KO methinks. 😂😂❤
We like the look of the new cooling jacket for Dozer.
We have an 11yo Vizsla and last year we put her in this sky blue Weatherbeeta cooling jacket on very hot days. It kept her cool for about 4 to 5 hours before drying out like the proverbial wrinkled old prune. 😂 On odd occasions, we had to splash some of our own drinking water on it to allow her to keep rocking the cool vibes.
We would really love to get your feedback on the efficiency of the new cooling jacket in due course, on the assumption we all might get to enjoy some decent sun and dry weather sometime soon. 😢😢
Based on feedback, we've just invested in a new charcoal Lotus Grill. Fingers crossed it's as good as it looks. Graham and Pam x

Ah I think we had the same cool coat as you before. It worked ok but as you say, had to keep refreshing it with more water. Yep as soon as we get some sun we'll give a verdict on it for sure.

Thankfully our cooling coats do not dry stiff and will keep cool for at least 5 hours with one soaking 🙂
Hi Mac and Sarah, great to see your new caravan looks lovely hope you have many memories in it.
Great products from the show very interesting, but after years of caravans and buying I’ve sheds full.
You will eventually just start thinking did I need this and reverse back to basics. But they look brilliant.
Specialised covers are great, but will have difficulty if you find anything wrong with it, not very good for afterwards the MD is the owner and doesn’t think the customer first.
They have a complete no to return anything and I’ve experienced this twice now.
quality wise has slipped on average you should get few years before they start fraying, but never used to be like this. Graham the caravan vlogger has same cover and he just shown a video regarding the issues as I’ve had, plus a few other people have same issues and zipping.
But check your one when it arrives hopefully you will have more luck, I hope so.
But keep your videos going we really enjoy them, apart from reviews lol, dogs lovely and you are exactly like me and the wife regarding the dog comes first 😂
Unfortunately are little dog passed at Christmas just like loosing a child, so going to find it difficult to go away in the caravan.
But life goes on, anyway good luck with everything happy holidays 👍

@@MacSarah Hi Mac just wanted to give you a few ideas regarding your new swift. I’ve had quite a few new swift over the years and no everything about what goes wrong.
I saved recently the caravan addys who wasn’t aware of the problem with the sunroof dipping bowing in the middle, I asked them to check it along with the cant rails that also melt. As I expected his was bowing, so he just had it replaced. I’ve had the same issue with two swift the elegance 650 and the one I have now the challenger 650 2021
Just every make share the same parts so it not just swift. They are probably the best out of the other makes.
So you can always contact me if you’re not sure on anything. I’ve have been a vehicle inspector for years with DVSA but just recently taken early retirement.
But this is why I’m always finding defects victim of my own success lol.
But I’ve just recently added Crome plastic wheel nut covers to my swift look amazing bought on amazon just couple of pounds but transformed the wheels.
Just an idea.

Great video I will be interested in how you get on with the 2BF coats I considered them at the October show but think they may take up too much room when we’re. I bought a fire stick as it copes with all types of fire and does not need regular servicing and they are small

Hi Mac and Sarah, another great vid. I have a Lab Retreiver and was wondering how long the coat doggy bag takes to dry after use. This would be a very good investment for our caravan, and for Barney of course.x
The drying coat doesn't hold onto the wet like normal towels or drying robes do, it dries really quickly, you just shake it out after a muddy walk leave it open to dry and it is ready to use again in an hour or two. It is perfect after a muddy walk or trip to the beach, getting them clean and dry, whilst keeping your car or caravan clean in the process 🙂
Hey Shane, yes we agree with Pawdaw having used it a couple of times now. The fabric feels quite unique, unlike towels etc. I reckon Barney would love it 😀👍

We have just bought our first caravan and are having our first trip away next week with our 18 month old fox red lab so definitely need seat covers as our Robbie is not quite as calm as Dozer.
Ordered bottom sheet and mattress topper from Tuck me under and am thinking of getting the seat covers too. They have sent me samples to chose colour from but just wondering if yours have arrived yet and if you are pleased with them.

Take it you'd had drill holes through side wardrobe to hold storage bag
No holes, we're trying out a few sucker mounted hook options. Really don't want to drill holes to be honest. It will also hand put in the awning which is going to be handy.

We've got command hooks to hang stuff like that Thule organiser. They are most definitely fit for purpose. However, one place where we have put the suction cup command hooks is the wall of the caravan shower high up. We hang our wet coats in there on them to drip dry after a walk in heavy rain. Unfortunately, with the kind of dog we own, we aren't able to be fair weather walkers.

@MacSarah We have an 11yo female Hungarian Vizsla called Xenna. Our Ginger Ninja. She's sugar faced now, but she's still fit and reasonably supple. They are a very active breed. As a female, she's incredibly smart and easy to look after. (I'm sure like my wife and daughter, Sarah would agree with that sentiment - lol.) She loves the caravan life and ensures we get very little of the settees to ourselves. Fingers crossed, she will continue to age gracefully like Dozer and reach his age. They are such an integral part of our family unit and our shared adventures. Thanks for asking.

Hi mac and sarah why do caravan accessories have to be so expensive i got quoted £57 for a cable too plug my mover remote into the control box i wont be buying it at that price also truma want £75 for a gas level checker
It's a good question Cameron, I think there are definitely ways to use similar products that cost less for some applications. It can be a very expensive hobby!
