- Welcome to another of our caravan vlogs! This time we're at Black Horse Farm CAMC Site in Densole, Kent. We were here for 5 nights over late November / early December.
Until this trip we hadn't visited any sites in Kent, so we were really excited to explore somewhere new.
The caravan site is only 40 minutes form the gorgeous fishing town of Whitstable, 25 minutes from Canterbury and in an excellent location if you're headed to France, really close to both the Channel Tunnel and Dover Ferry Port.

Mac and Sarah.... If you do visit Black Horse Farm again especially in the better weather, I can recommend you visit the redeveloped Railway Station on the beach,with restaurants and beach bars.
Hi Mick! That sounds fantastic, is that in Folkestone?
The railway station is actually on the beach,it is by the harbour.Many many ears ago now it was a passenger service to the ferries.

Hi M & S. Happy new year to you both and Dozer. Black Horse is a very useful site for day trips to France. The ferry is only 20 minutes down the road. We've had quite a few weekends there and gone home with lots of good wine. ❤

Ah ! Mac and Sarah you was in my home town of Whitstable ! would have been great for my lab Wally to finally meet Dozer who i must say is still looking great for 14-1/2. Another great caravan park is in Sandwich (Leisure Park ) which is located so close great pubs and eateries and easy walks for Dozer. Happy New Year guys and love to Dozer.

My wife & I really enjoy your vlogs. We are from opposite ends of the country (we're up in Cheshire), but on the back of your easy to watch videos we've booked a week at Back of Beyond, followed by a week at Concierge Camping. Keep up the great work - if we ever meet keep Dozer close, my wife wants to kidnap 😉lol.

Stayed there last year for a night on the same pitch. not to bada site but if you want a phone signal then forget it.....i think that is on all networks.
Very easy site to drive around and to pitch/setup.
Daleacres is another good site that is only a 10 min drive from the front/town and just up the road from there is a pub/restaurant, cant say what the food is like as not been in there.
Staff were super friendly, been a few times but the staff have left now at the end of last season.
Bearstead is another nice site with a couple of guys running it, super friendly and a well stocked shop
(both sites are Clubsites).
Ah yes the phone signal was a bit weak. You stayed ok the same pitch? What a coincidence. Thanks for the tips on the other sites, that's really helpful. It's a great area to visit so we'd love to try one of them out.

haha just read what i wrote this morning, bit double dutch and sounded like the staff at the pub were nice, and not the site.
Yes same pitch, think it is 103. Have watched a few of your vids, think i have commented on a couple, really nicely put together.
We are of to the Brighton site soon, every time we wanted to go last year it was always full but we did go and have a walk around which was nice.
The Battle site is nice, strange this is but pitch 103 has views over the medows, the wardens say that you can put your van in backwards so you have the best of views from the living end of the van, the beauty of this site is that from the park there is a walk of about a mile down a track and at the end is a pub that does food and has a beer garden, staff are friendly in the pub.

Hi Julie, yes it was a shame. The halloumi burger was a bit tasteless and the fish was kinda soggy, like frozen then defrosted then cooked. It might just have been a one off? The beer was good though and it was a cozy place. Thanks for watching!

Ah thanks Michael, that's kind of you to say 😊 We would honestly LOVE to come to Scotland but Dozer isn't up to such a long journey... We adore Scotland and spend a fantastic couple of weeks in the Western Isles a couple of years ago. One day we'll be back though 😀

Hi there! Sure, we use a Cannon M50 mainly. Also have a GoPro. For editing, we use Final Cut Pro. That being said some of our favorite channels make content with iPhones so equipment can be anything you like. There's also lots of options when it comes to editing too 🙂 thanks for watching
