I prefer this closure over the cinched method. I learned how to slip stitch the two ends together as well as the X closure. Your teaching style is clear and to the point without distracting music in the background. Thank you so much.
Your videos are super helpful for newbies like myself. Bought my Sentro 2 weeks ago. Your waste yarn hack is absolutely genius! It was taking me ages to unravel the waste cast on yarn. Now it takes seconds! Your teaching style is excellent. Thank you from Tina - Bristol UK.
Thank you for your video. You are a great teacher and I really enjoyed it. I’m new to machine knitting and I was wondering if there was a way to put the hat together without adding a pompon.
Your amazing I love your hacks to make using the addi more enjoyable I just found you Going to start watching all your videos ❤😊 Just curious what is your most favourite yarn for making hats on addi?

Fantastic! I love it!
Thanks! Hubby wants a x closure hat as he doesn't like the bubble effect a cinched hat gives off :)
I can't get over the alternative waste yarn. That's genius!
It’s great isn’t it! 🥳

What a nice, easy closure. It takes a little mire time than just cinching it, but I like the smooth, flat look.

That makes me so happy to hear! I can’t claim to have invented the hack, but had to share it once I discovered it ☺️
So glad you did!

Your hack for removing the cast on waste yarn is amazing! Thank you so much for that...it will save me a lot of frustration! :)

I've done a few hats (only using the cinch closure) and I haven't added a pompom to any of them. I prefer them without.
Thanks so much for this 🥰
It’s a pleasure!
Awesome video! 💜💜💜
Thank you! 🥰
After doing the slip stichs can you just pull it close
Another fab tutorial :)
Hi is there any way to close with circular needles for a flatter top? Nice tutorial🎉
Not an x closure but you could transfer the stitches onto needles and work a decrease - you’d still have to double the tube over though
Love it!
Your amazing
I love your hacks to make using the addi more enjoyable
I just found you
Going to start watching all your videos ❤😊
Just curious what is your most favourite yarn for making hats on addi?
I’m based in the U.K. so it depends if you’re based here too - I like to use Aran weight yarn which is like Worsted weight yarn in the US 🙂
Can you do the x closure on a double layer hat?
I noticed this hat was just single layered
And if you can, do you have a video on that?
This hat was double layered 🙂
Just found you on RUclips and subscribed. I just got my addi machine ( delivering today ). Your work is beautiful. Can you link where you get your tags for the beanies
Sure! It’s a company called CutDesign on Etsy
Thank you for the tutorial very clear and easy to follow. What yarn have you used for this please? its gorgeous!
I’ve lost the ball band but I seem to remember it being King Cole Aran Tweed
Can you make a braided wreath
Love this finishing alternative! Btw I also love the yarn you used, what brand is it?
If I remember right it’s King Cole Aran Tweed.
Hi, Snufflebean, I have a dumb newbie question. How many stitches does a 46 or 48 machine knit? It looks like more than 46 or 48 stitches.
Not a dumb question at all! It’s 46/48 stitches respectively :)
@@SnufflebeanYarn thank you! I love your videos!
What brand and color is this beanie?
This was Papatya Super Stitch in the shade 8740
@@SnufflebeanYarn thank you!
