I bought a 2003 Daihatsu Charade 1.0 3 door as a stop gap car for £500, i kept it for nearly 5 years. One of the best, most fun, reliable cars I've ever had. Totally changed my idea of the brand. Would love a Sirion! Great video.
Hear me out. I bought a cheap run around diesel. Was nippy standard, then after a remap its around140bhp. Then i decided to do other upgrades, wheels and tyres off facebook £200, big brake upgrade £100 and lowering springs £100. Draggy times standard 9.5, remapped 8.0s to 60. The car, Kia rio mk2 1.5crdi. They can be readily had for £500 and i spent around £500 making it into a warm hatch that does 60mpg. I even took it on a track day and the car loved it.
Cant help but recognise the A361 north of Othery, my mate had a silver Rally2 in Glastonbury just over a year ago, hes sold it now, BU52 ZYG was the reg. Great little car.
I have two of them myself! One I've just bought with 70k miles as a runaround as well as a parts car. Just wanted to ask where you got your fog lights from?
@beardsncars yeah it's the newer generation with the 3.8 twin turbo ferrari unit. Ive had a few maserati over years and I've never had any bother with them tbh
Ah yeah haven't driven any of the newer ones yet. Had 3 QP's in 05/08/09 forms and the latter two were fantastic. Sometimes consider getting another, but I can't justify dropping how easy the Rally is to live with in every way. Plus I put most of my extra cash into the Lincoln & Rolls for the flash stuff

no joke, your previous video about the sirion made me buy a sirion gtvi as my first manual last month
Ey nice one. I'm planning on raffling this one on the channel in January, but even if it doesn't work out it would be a great one to keep
As someone in the uk, with a crusty ford fiesta, fhat raffle sound like a brilliant idea!

Laughing while I drive on by your visit to the repair shop xD
@beardsncars yes well I'm currently driving a 10 year old maserati so you might be closer to the truth than you realise 😅😅
Hope its a ZF!

You need to stop calling it a hot hatch lol
Nope, lol. Especially knowing how much it annoys you, that's even better xD
