From the moment I saw the video I knew he was a guy. I actually knew from just hearing the song the first time. I was the same age and could easily hear the difference between a 13/14 Year old boy and a 13/14 year old girl. It's not hard to hear the difference actually and as far as how he looked.... Well I don't actually know anyone in real life that mistook him for a girl. To me he was clearly a boy. I don't know how anyone actually mistook him for a girl now that I think about it.
