That’s definitely a serious grade, they definitely had them cranked up💪🏼. It’s amazing to me the durability oh modern locomotive engines, running at notch 8 for god only how’s for how many hours during their lifetime and under load. Heard a couple different air leaks on this one. Great video Steve👍🏼😎🇺🇸
hey buddy the last time I was in Massachusetts I believe I was close when I was in the town of palmer Massachusetts if iwas close to the mountains you just mentioned I couldn't spell it but you said the name of it and it was very nice up there tc my friend
1.65%, uncompensated -and the curves are tight! I once saw 4 SD40's (not the quieter Sd40-2) and an SW1500 on a ballast train through one of the deep cuts on the hill. The sound was awesome and unforgettable!
86 cars dragging ass up the long hill. I think I can.....
😎
This sounds like the trains sound when they are going up and around Horseshoe Curve in PA. Awesome video!
Thank you!!!

The air you heard might have been the escape valves on the carbon dioxide tankers doing what they are designed to do
Love the Berkshires.
I believe Roger Waters has a shack out there somewhere?
Excellent Video, Love the Screaming GP at the beginning.
@@apmazurka is it the shack in Middlefield right next to the tracks?😂😆🤣
Grinding up that hill. When you have to move the demo you better throw enough power at it

Love the view and sound of the engines straining up the grade. Is this the steepest grade on the B&A Berkshire line?
