Yes, having a flat screen gave the iphone the edge but that's their design choice. Samsung went with a curved screen and that's their choice too (you can't eat your cake and have it back). The one test that you didn't do is a drop where the impact is on the curve on the sides where it's nearly impossible to offer protection even with a case. The edge of the screen and the edge of the case leaves a pronounced unprotected surface that is highly susceptible to damage even with their Samsung cases. My Note 9 dropped from hand onto my bed and then flipped onto my nightstand. It only cracked on the exposed lip at the corner. From what i could tell, there isn't a case made to provide the necessary protection. I am all in with the Samsung eco system, but not offering a premium phone with a flat screen really is a big miss. My Note 3 sits in a desk absolutely flawless. You didn't even need a screen protector because of the raised lips on the Otterbox case. This is a design flaw that Samsung has just doubled down on. In a perfect world, I would love to have an Iphone Max Pro running Android. P.S. Insurance is not the answer for their design flaws

the s22 ultra breaks more due to the design added to the weight, the pointed corners of the rectangular design means that when it hits the impact force is multiplied in the corner that hits because the impact surface is smaller but the weight is greater... Step the same with the note 10+ which has the same design.

Somehow the reality always seems to trump shock-absorbing materials, protective cases and all kinds of gorilla glass. It will always hit the one in a million angle and shatter totally. It's like with a butter sandwich that in a controlled environment will fall statistically half of the time on each side. But in reality it will fall butter side down each and every time.

Sometimes it works, but there are a lot of instances where it just freezes when I try switching between Cameras. This is very annoying because my Samsung S21 Ultra never did that. I have been waiting for the Update to see if it fixed the Camera Problem and today I got it 3-21-2022 and to my Suprise I still have the same problem. I Called customer support but they told me I had to send my phone which I told her no, she told me that was the only thing they could do but I don't want to send my phone. I told her I want to talk to the Supervisor and I have to wait 48 for them to call me back. Is anyone else Having this problem with the Samsung S22 Ultra?

I think the first round was a bit unfair.
I don’t know about everyone else but I would very much prefer a crack that stays at the edge rather than one that is slightly less visible but goes across to the camera

I think that the scoring system has to be reworked in these tests. Logically a perfect score would mean no damage at all, crack or scuff (on metal).

Armor aluminum is a fancy buzzword for titanium alloy. I'm not sure why Samsung doesn't just come out amd say titanium, seeing as that is more impressive and unique.
