If it did only cost $25, I wouldn't have even mentioned it since everyone would've already known. If that were the case, it would've been equivalent to me saying "I love that I got a S-pen with my S22U!". That would be redundant and pointless since everyone gets one. In fact, that's precisely why I worded it the way I did by saying "That's why I love having $25 screen/display replacements!!". I thought it was obvious and everyone would realize I mentioned it solely because it IS such a great price and NOT the standard cost!!
@@akshay5569 * Actually, "How do you get screen/display replacements for $25?" is what you should have said.

I didn't mention it because people in the US with phone insurance knew what I was talking about, but if anyone had asked I woulda been happy to explain it.
It’s really weird seeing the iPhone be champion on all 3 of phonebuffs tests, the iPhone is the most durable between the two, much greater battery life and is indeed faster.
Faster only at video transfer , but ultimately slower when using the lightning port .

Finally the drop test is here! Since the Samsung s22 launched I’ve been checking multiple times a day for the speed, battery and now drop tests between Samsung and iPhone! Not one was a disappointment
Absolutely love how you do your tests - imo it’s the most reliable and fair contest anyone on RUclips does, gets me glued to the screen for the entirety of the video
Thank you for making such great content.. can’t wait to see how the iPhone 14 does
Since the iPhone is king and raining champion in all areas, so hopefully it will keep its crown with the next iPhone and the iPhone 14 will be the latest champion
Also I wish and would love if you did water tests! That would pretty much complete comparisons - especially if it was not only what the phone was rated but one that lasts until the phone shuts down
To see how long and how deep smartphones limits are, fingers crossed this becomes part of your channel, can always hope lol

the s22 ultra breaks more due to the design added to the weight, the pointed corners of the rectangular design means that when it hits the impact force is multiplied in the corner that hits because the impact surface is smaller but the weight is greater... Step the same with the note 10+ which has the same design.
Somehow the reality always seems to trump shock-absorbing materials, protective cases and all kinds of gorilla glass. It will always hit the one in a million angle and shatter totally. It's like with a butter sandwich that in a controlled environment will fall statistically half of the time on each side. But in reality it will fall butter side down each and every time.
True that
I have been waiting this video for weeks 😍
You need a good case sponsor to redo the s22u tests to see how much better it is.

Can you do another 60hz vs 120hz battery test? At least with one of the S22s using adaptive refresh rate. The S20 60hz vs 120hz video isn't accurate enough due to again, adaptive refresh rate, and I'm curious on how the S22 Ultra would perform at 60hz.
Yea he should do the regular s22s

Hi, since I Received my Samsung S22 Ultra from my preorder I have been having trouble with my Camera. Sometimes it works, but there are a lot of instances where it just freezes when I try switching between Cameras. This is very annoying because my Samsung S21 Ultra never did that. I have been waiting for the Update to see if it fixed the Camera Problem and today I got it 3-21-2022 and to my Suprise I still have the same problem. I Called customer support but they told me I had to send my phone which I told her no, she told me that was the only thing they could do but I don't want to send my phone. @Jamie Ibrahim it's maybe stronger against scratches but not against cracks
How high did you drop from at the start?
It’s funny,no matter what though you never know how a phone will survive any given drop. A phone could fall out of a helicopter Monday and be fine. Then Tuesday it falls off the couch on carpet and it’s annihilated.
Finally the vid that we all have been waiting for is finally here!
curved screen is always sux no matter what. That's why I traded in my Note 20 Ultra 5g for the iPhone 13 Pro max. I got annoyed with curved screen. There are no screen protectors like the iPhone screen protectors that would hold tightly. Curved screen protectors are basically a thin layer tape where it comes off easily. I wasted like 10 for it and finally I called quit.
Not me looking through my cracked screen to see if it’s the phone or mine 😂

Props to Apple for winning all 3 tests (performance speed, battery draining, and drop)
Whilst apple uses lower tech, has a smaller screen so not alot of battery consumption, and doesnt have an spen which is what samsung lost points on when it didn't come out. Ur proud of that?
@@G15-y9u uses "lower tech" but won the performance speed test... As I consumer I want the best performance and baterry life. How a producer gives me both of those I really don't care
@@neagudan because of their amazing chips and their lower screen resolution, lower screen nits, and other variables. Thats too much sacrifice for a phone that was only 2 secs faster than the better phone, in which the s22ultra won in most of those apps and iphone only caught up bc it stuttered in spotify (need i say spotify was having problems at that time). Therefore id very much rather use a better phone and sacrifice an hour of battery rather than downgrade to a lower phone thats not as good and doesnt offer as much
@@G15-y9u The test was done on same britness so the maximum nits do not count, apple has both a better processor and an even better os, they said they repeated the test many times at the conclusion was the same, if you get an android you also get the trademark stuttering and lagging. You could say that the different in performance was marginal but iPhone 13 pro still had 26% battery when the Samsung died. Same speed performance, 26% baterry left, and 13 pro max is cheaper and more durable. Don't know what else I can say
@@neagudan first of all where did it say that? Second apple doesnt not have a better os lol. Dont know where you got that from but when you get an iphone you'll get the trademark screen cracks as always. Iphone 13pm is a lil bit cheaper now but it should be since it offers less. And the s22 is more durable. Iphone doesn't have the capability to go down to 1hz, nor have a better display, nor have a better camera system, need i go on?
simple lesson to take away, no matter what people say, put a case on it. buy apple care on top of that if you can swing it, if you ever get a crack in the screen, all your trade-in value is gone down to zero.
Using the machine to do the drop test makes it much more accurate and consistent than dropping it from your hand. Though you’d need to do the from the hand drop tests as well for real world drop scenarios
