Great show as always, gentlemen, but I have to cut and paste from my comment on Steve's video from last Thursday...."Hi My Name Is Steve, and I'm a vinylholic..." The first sign of a problem, Professor, is blaming others for your inability to control your vinyl habit...." LOL! As far as the gateway albums, I think my biggest of them was probably "Caverna Magica" by Andreas Vollenweider - before that came out, I had no idea what "new age" music was, and now I have hundreds of albums and CDs which are all incredible. Vollenweider has been a favorite for years, as has Craig Chaquico...did "Influencers" episodes about both of them. And Menudo let me to discover Latin music, although I had first been exposed by Mocedades' "Eres Tu" in 1974 - I don't speak a word of Spanish, but I have tons of albums in Spanish, also French and Japanese....lots of Menudo, Luis Miguel, and others in my library these days. And the less said about my obsession with Eurovision, the better, heh heh....Thanks for the great discussion!
I really love Latino music also TC. I think that it was Los Lobos that get me interested in that music. I have a fairly substantial Latin inspired collection but most of it centers around punk and psych.
I wasn’t a big country fan. But Johnny Cash got me to open my ears and eyes. I was able to listen to Waylon Jennings and George Jones. Still not the biggest fan, but I try a few albums here and there. Oh, I got that Hendrix cover from an OG German pressing. It’s not just a UK pressing.
Thanks guys, enjoyed the show.
Keep it sealed Steve and stream it take the money

Michael, Cash got me into Country also. I am now dabbling with some Waylon but most of my country has been focused around the Bakersfield sound.
Rush...
I had to laugh, visited the Radiowasteland Store for first time and of course Rush was playing
Lmao that is hilarious. Jim loves his Rush, he keeps working on me
@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 yes I told him I listened to your weekly videos and it was appropriate that Rush was playing.
