Beautiful Honey Bee Swarm removal (Saving bees in a water feature)

Removal of African Scutellata bees from the inside of a hollow water feature where they had taken up residence for just over a year. A very calm bee colony that we were able to move to our Kyalami apiary.

Stuart and Ethan McDougall from Bee Sanctuary ( / @beesanctuary ) team rescue a well-established bee colony from a big ball water feature in the suburb of Brakenhurst, Alberton, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The bees had made their home inside the big ball. It was a swarm that is just over a year old that we easily removed and relocated to the bee sanctuary apiary.
