I can tell you are actually knowledgeable (although you left out balance rates, most diesel guys don’t seem to really know diesels), but did you edit that video in reverse??
It is amazing info good knowledge but for those who get kind of lost the video is all messed up sure was recorded on sections I did not say he is wrong with every test I am just saying he already did a test and next show how to connect line on a port that already tested before shows how to do the vacuum test and so on but really good Job on this great video
Thanks for taking the time to put this information together! Could you tell me what you're using to cap the return lines during the injector bank return rate test? Also, what size is the fuel lines run to the bucket for this test?
On an LMM 2007.5 - 2010, the return lines are 3/8 inside diameter. The fuel supply lines on the suction/low pressure side are 1/2 inside diameter. I used a cap from a gear oil 1 liter bottle to plug the U shaped return hose: ruclips.net/video/0nUd-qFFuQk/видео.html Stay gold.
@@billybobs841 yeah mines not holding prime and only builds like 300psi , I’ve replaced all fuel lines from the tank to filter and the ones going to cp3, replaced filter head assembly as well as cp3 and fpr, still no luck
Do u have 1 of them gauges that hooks up near alternator? And check and see if u have any fuel pressure when trucks not running and myne was same problem so I put a lift pump (no help)5 injectors replaced and still hard 2 start .. well tonight I unhooked the pressure sensor next to turbo on drivers side and the truck runs perfect no goin in to limp mode and I got to 110 b4 tonight every time I hit 65 to 70 it go in limp .. I'll let u know how it does 2mrow
Great explanation and visual , thank you!

Are base points necessary when the amount of diesel for the return flow is beyond excessive.

I've got a 05 duramax and it was hard 2 start then it quit now I am only make 240 psi wat u think is wrong cp3?
You ever figure it out?
@@sheltoe93 well I figured out my pressure sensor was bad and 3 injectors were not closen up so I couldnt build pressure.. you haven problens
